Dear AT&T cellular:**I****** I switched carriers in May and our new carrier said we had switched from you. Obviously this was not your fault because as it turned out only the phone was switched and my son's Apple watch remained active on AT&T. **I paid my bill in June, thinking that this was the end of it. I received another bill in July and ignored it for awhile thinking it was a clerical error. In August I received another bill showing back dated charges and penalty.I called AT&T customer service and they said everything was cancelled and that this would be the last bill.IN September I received another bill then I went into our local AT&T retail store (corporate owned, not franchise) and asked about what was happening. They looked things up and said I had indeed terminated and that this would be the last bill. I paid that bill.. In October I received another bill and then went to our local AT&T store and the gentleman there figured out that the watch was not terminated and that we had to call AT&T customer service to stop service. I did just that and talked in depth to customer service. They said they could not find a record of my previous contact with customer service so no adjustment could be made but they would open an investigation into it. They referred me to the termination people who took the termination request and said it would be terminated on October **,(why not October *th?)**The mystery is that on the original account there were three items. A cell phone, IPAD and watch. Supposedly only the phone could be terminated by the new carrier. Somehow the IPAD was terminated but not the watch.**If you check, there has been no activity on the watch since May, indeed I have not even had the watch since May.**It seems crazy that all of my contacts with AT&T resulted with them saying my service was terminated and that the bill in question each time would be the last.
