I originally signed up for a promotion for TV & Internet. During the original call with AT&T, I was told that my bill would be no more than $*** per month, including taxes and fees and that I would receive * $*** Visa gift cards. I only received one gift card. Then upon receiving my first bill, it was $***.**. I was told that included prorated amounts, taxes, fees, and an installation. I was aware of the one time installation fee, however, the additional fees were not discussed. When breaking it down, it was clear that my bill would be more than $*** a month. I called back and spoke to someone that agreed with me that I was provided incorrect information. Because of the this, we decided to cancel the TV portion of my service. I was informed that she would apply a different promotion on the account, credit me back a lot of the charges due to misinformation and overall, I would receive a credit of $***. I called several times to ask about this credit and was told I'd see it on my next bill. When the next bill arrived, I still owed $**.** and only $**.** had been credited back. I spoke to someone who agreed that there was a memo on the account of the $*** I should be credited and informed me that I would need to speak to a different department to get the remaining $*** ($*** minus the $** already credited). Upon transferring me, the call was dropped or I was hung up on. I called back, had to wait another ** minutes to speak with someone. This person told me that the credit I received was right and I wouldn't be getting the $*** credited, regardless of the memo on my account. I asked several times to speak with a supervisor and I was denied. I asked several times for the original two calls to be reviewed because I want what I was promised, but was told that would take too long. I finally was told that a manager would call me back to discuss my dissatisfaction with this entire situation. I have been waiting for a call back and have never received one. I finally gave up and disputed the $*** on my credit card. I then received an email that my automatic payment setup was cancelled (I did not do this). Then a second email that my account is past due because of the $*** that I disputed. No one is willing to help me and give me what I was promised. I don't see why I should have to pay this when it isn't what I signed up for. My account is *********.
