You can also set recurring payments for bills. It can automatically deduct payments from your account monthly until you end them. Here are the steps to cancel a recurring bill payment with Wells Fargo.

1. Log In to Your Wells Fargo Account

You can cancel a recurring bill payment on the Wells Fargo website by logging in to your account and navigating to the Payments page.

2. Find the Bill Payment Tab

Enter your biller's name in the search box and click Search. It will filter the list to show only your billers. Click the name of your biller to see the payments you made.

3. Select the Payment You Want to Cancel

You'll see a list of your scheduled payments. Find the recurring bill and select it. It will take you to a page with your payment history when you schedule your next withdrawal (usually on the same day every month) and other details about that particular transaction.

4. Add Reason for Cancellation

Enter the reason for cancellation in the Notes field. You can click Other and type Cancel Recurring Payment.

5. Click Edit Payment Schedules

Go to Banking and select Manage Bill Payment Schedules. Choose Edit Payment Schedules. This will bring up options for changing or canceling the payment schedule.

6. Select Cancel Recurring Payments

Click Cancel Recurring Bill from the list to begin the cancellation process for one or more bills. Each will cancel separately by clicking Cancel Recurring Bill again after selecting it from the list.

7. Review the Information

Check the information on your screen, then click Submit if you're satisfied. You can make another change before clicking Confirm and Submit.

8. Receive Email Confirmation

When you schedule a recurring bill payment with Wells Fargo, the bank will email you confirming this.
