Waze Customer FAQ

To change your work address in Waze, go to the app and tap on the search icon. From there, select “My Waze” and then tap on “Edit Places.” You can update your work address by tapping on the current address and entering the new one. Make sure to save the changes after updating your information.

To increase the volume for directions on Waze, go to the app's settings by tapping on the magnifying glass icon to open the search bar, then select "Settings." From there, navigate to "Voice & sound." You can adjust the volume level or select "Play sound through" to ensure it plays through your phone’s speakers. Additionally, check your device's overall volume settings to ensure they are set appropriately.

If Waze has stopped giving voice directions, check your device's volume settings and ensure they are not muted. In Waze, go to "Settings," then "Voice & Sound," and make sure "Sound" is enabled. You can also try selecting a different voice or resetting your voice settings. Restarting the app or your device may resolve the issue as well. If the problem persists, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the app to reset any settings.

To change the language to English in the Waze app, go to the app's settings. Tap on "Voice & sound," then select "Language." From there, you can choose English as your preferred language for voice directions. Make sure to confirm your selection to apply the changes.

If you're not hearing Waze directions clearly, check the volume settings on your device and ensure that the media volume is turned up. Additionally, make sure that the Waze app's voice guidance settings are enabled. You can adjust the voice volume within the Waze app under the settings menu. Also, verify that the "Play sound through" option is set to your preferred audio output, such as your phone’s speaker or Bluetooth device.
