Waze Customer FAQ

To hear sound with route directions in Waze, ensure that your device's volume is turned up and not muted. Check the app settings to confirm that voice guidance is enabled. You can do this by tapping on the "Settings" icon, then "Voice & sound," where you can adjust settings for voice directions, including the volume and the type of voice used. Ensure that your phone's media volume is also set appropriately for audio playback.

To turn up the volume on Waze, go to the app and tap on the sound icon on the map screen. You can then adjust the volume slider to your preferred level. Make sure your device's main volume is also turned up, as Waze volume is affected by your device settings.

To correct your home address in Waze, go to the app and tap on "My Waze," then select "Settings." From there, choose "Voice & sound" to access "Home." You can edit the address to update it. Make sure to save the changes.

To increase the volume on Waze, open the app and tap on the magnifying glass icon. Then go to "Settings," select "Voice Directions," and adjust the volume slider to a higher level. You can also increase the device's overall volume, as Waze uses the phone’s media volume. Make sure your phone is not in silent mode. Additionally, check if any connected Bluetooth devices are affecting audio output.

To change your Waze app back to English, go to the app's settings. Tap on "Voice & sound," then select "Language." From the list, choose "English," and the app will switch to that language. Make sure your device's language settings are also set to English, as this can sometimes affect the app's language.
