How to Turn Off Your Thumbtack Notifications

Thumbtack notifications allow users to receive job leads and other alerts related to their accounts. However, the feature can distract users who don’t need or want to receive prior notice of tasks available in their areas. If you prefer not to receive notices but don’t know how to deactivate the feature, read on for step-by-step instructions to start the process.

App

You can use the Jiffy app to turn off notifications in your account using a mobile phone. Since the process is easy and only takes a few minutes, you won’t see any notices unless you tap the slider to reactivate the feature. Check out the short list below to deactivate alerts directly on the Thumbtack app.

1. Log into your Thumbtack app and tap You at the bottom of the screen.

2. Click notifications and choose all of the sliders or one specific slider in the Get push notifications About section.

3. Tap lightly to deactivate automated notices.

Desktop

If you prefer to use a PC to deactivate notifications, it would be best to visit the Thumbtack website to start the process. Read further for a few steps to turn off your notices quickly.

1. Visit the Thumbtack website to access your user dashboard.

2. Log in and click Notification Settings.

3. Click the slider to turn off a specific notification.
