You will get a confirmation email with details about your flight as soon as you book a Southwest Airlines flight. The email is from southwestairlines@ifly.southwest.com with the subject "You're Going To...". If you can't find the email, consider checking your spam folder, as it might be there. The confirmation number is in the subject and body of the email, and is usually in a green font. Check the screenshot to see a confirmation email from Southwest.
You can find the confirmation number just below the flight details. If you wish to see more details about your flight, click Continue.
The confirmation number is still displayed here, in a green font.
If you want a copy of the confirmation number, you also have the option to resend it. Just click Email to resend the confirmation number. A "Resent Receipt" message will pop up. Click Send to resend the email. Make sure you have access to the email address used when booking a Southwest Airlines flight to ensure you receive the confirmation code.
Did you book your flight via another website or through a travel agency? They usually also send you a confirmation email with details about your flight. Check their email for the confirmation number. If they have a direct number to call, you can also call the travel agency and ask for the confirmation number from them directly.
Did you get the confirmation number? Now you can make changes to your flight, manage your booking, and even add another checked luggage. You need the confirmation code when checking in at the airport. If you wish to manage your booking, proceed to the next step.
Enter your flight confirmation number, first name, and last name. Then, click Lookup Reservation. From there, you should be able to make changes to your Southwest Airlines flight.
If you booked via a travel agency, they may also give you a separate code. Just to be sure, keep all of them. Make sure you have them handy at the airport, in case there are changes to your flight.
Did you get your Southwest Airlines confirmation number? If you booked several months ago and can't find the confirmation code for some reason, we recommend contacting Southwest Airlines instead. You can reach out to them via chat or by calling them directly. But again, if you booked through your travel agent, be sure to contact this agent directly. You can only get the confirmation number from where you originally booked the flight. If you still have other questions or concerns regarding your Southwest Airlines flight or reservation, do not hesitate to get in touch with Customer Support.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
After helping consumers for 10 years, we realized that you need an impartial, live person you can talk to about comparing the various TV, cable, Internet and phone plans in your area- somebody who can compare the best deals across telecom providers.
