How Do I File a Lost and Found Claim with Norwegian Cruise Lines?

Going on a cruise is one of many ways to get away from it all and see the world. One such cruise line is the Norwegian Cruise Line. Their crews do their best to make your cruise as carefree as possible. But what happens if you lose an item? This guide will walk you through how to report your lost items.

First, what information do you need to have?

  1. Guest's first and last name
  2. Valid email address, contact address, and phone number
  3. Ship's name and sail date
  4. Location item or bag was lost
  5. Departure port, debark and debarkation ports
  6. Item type, description and lost date
  7. Having value amounts of each item could also be useful to your claim.

Filing Your Claim

  1. Go to https://ncl.lostandfoundsite.com/ and click on new lost item.
  2. Fill out the fields on each page. There should be four pages total.
  3. You should receive a confirmation of your claim. A response to your claim will take about 10 business days from receipt.
  4. You can check the status of your claim at https://ncl.lostandfoundsite.com/CurrentStatus.aspx. You will need the claim number and your email address. You can also call the Official Lost and Found Recovery Network for Norwegian Cruise Lines.

What Happens After You File

  1. Norwegian Cruise lines Lost and Found performs a search of all items reported lost from their patrons within the database.
  2. You will receive an email explaining how you can receive your item back. Please note that you will have to pay for any shipping charges.
  3. You will only have to pay for shipping and handling.
  4. All major credit cards are accepted as payment methods and you will have the option of purchasing shipping insurance.
  5. The shipping methods you can choose from are USPS, UPS and FedEx.
