What are the eligibility requirements for enrolling in the Driver Responsibility Program?

Asked 6 months ago
To enroll in the Driver Responsibility Program (DRP), there are specific eligibility requirements you need to meet. Firstly, you must hold a valid driver's license issued by the State of New York or any other state. Additionally, you must have been convicted of two or more traffic violations within a span of 18 months, or accumulate 6 or more points on your driving record within the same period. It is important that you do not have an open suspension or revocation on your license, as this disqualifies you from participating in the program. Furthermore, if you have any pending violations or suspensions, you must resolve them before being eligible for enrollment. Lastly, the DMV requires all fines and fees related to your violations to be paid before enrollment in the DRP.
