How to Get the Appointment Process Started

Gigster is not a direct employer of software developers. It is, instead, a hub for hiring freelance software designers. So you can’t set an appointment with any of the developers on the site directly. First, you need to find freelance candidates that might be a good fit for your project. The easiest way to make this happen is to use Gigster’s project tool. To do that, just follow this procedure:

1. Go to Gigster’ home page.
2. Click on the Get Started button on the left side of the screen under the “Better Software Development” header. This will take you to a screen with buttons labeled with the names of different kinds of projects, such as “Machine Learning” and “QA Automation.”
3. Select the project type that most closely matches yours. If none of the categories is a perfect match, just find the best fit.
4. Select a timeframe for starting the project.
5. Select a budget range for the project. If you haven’t set a budget yet, click on the “No funding yet” button.
6. Type out a description of your company’s project.
7. Click the Next button.
8. Enter your job title and the name of your company.
9. Click the Next button.
10. Provide your contact information.
11. Click the Next button.
12. Click the Submit button.

This procedure will not by itself set an appointment for you. However, after Gigster has finished processing your request, you will receive a quote and contact information for potential software developers and designers you can hire. After you have selected a team, you can then make an appointment to discuss your project in greater depth.

At Your Appointment

Once you've found team members you think would be a good fit for your company’s project, you will be given a way to contact them directly. Remember, the project tool you used to find them is not terribly exact. It may not catch all the important details of your project. You need to be sure to provide all the details you can, and then ask if any of it changes the quote you were initially given.

You can also contact a Gigster customer service representative directly if you want to ask questions about Gigster and the hiring process itself. To do so, you must use the company's help forum. There are no other contact options.
