You can buy a gift card from Gap in-store or online. If you're purchasing the card for someone else, ensure it's registered to the recipient's name to use at any time. Here are the steps to buy a gift card from Gap.
Go to Gap's website and log in to your account. Click Gift Cards in the menu bar at the top of the page. Enter your email address and password, then click Sign In.
The second step is to choose the type of gift card you want to purchase. You can select a physical Gap gift card, which you can use at any of the Gap stores or online, or an electronic Gap gift card, which you can use only on the company's website.
Click the Add to Cart button. This will take you directly to your shopping cart with the gift card you added.
Click the Redeem Now button at the top of your screen to begin redeeming your gift card code and enter it into the box provided. Type in your full name and email address, then click Submit. Add any notes to whom you want to send the gift card and click Continue. The note can be any note or a personal message to the recipient.
Choose how you want to receive your gift card and click Continue. You'll get a confirmation email with your gift card code for electronic delivery.
If you select physical delivery, proceed and choose an appropriate shipping method.
Follow the on-screen prompts to enter personal details like your billing address, shipping address, email address and credit card number. Click Submit when you finish.
You will receive an email or text with your gift card code. If you don't see it in the inbox, check your spam folder and then mark the email as Not Spam so that you can view future messages from Gap in your inbox.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Gap in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our How Do I Buy a Gift Card from Gap? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
