When you receive a gift card, you should always check its balance before using it. This way, you won't spend more than you intend. Here's how to check the balance on your Gap gift card.
To log in to your Gap account, visit the website and enter your username (email address) and password. After that, you should be able to see all of your order information. You can also log in using the password reset option on the front page if you've lost your login credentials.
Click on the Shop Now button in the top navigation bar. This page lets you shop for items for yourself or others, including your gift card balance.
Locate the Gift Cards option in the main menu. Once you find it, click on it and select Check Balance. You'll receive a prompt to enter your gift card number and PIN. After doing so, you can find the available amount for use on your Gap gift card.
Go to My Account on the menu. You will see a Check Balance option below your name and email address. If you click on it, a box will appear with your account information, including your remaining balance.
Once you've reviewed your balance, click Finish. This will take you to the main cardholder page and list your gift card balance and account information. If you have questions about a particular charge on your account or want more information about your card, contact Gap by phone or email.
