How Do I Send a Wire from My First Republic Bank Account?

Jul 13, 2023

If you have an account with First Republic Bank and you want to quickly send money to an account that you or someone else has at a different bank, you could send a wire transfer. Keep reading for the instructions you need to do it.

What Is a Wire Transfer?

A wire transfer is an electronic payment between two banks that does not go through a clearinghouse. It's a fast method of transfer, and domestic wire transfers frequently go through on the same day. However, international transfers can take somewhat longer, depending on the country and the currency exchange rate. Wire transfers are typically used when the money needs to get to its destination quickly or when the amount is large or particularly important.

  2. Tap on Move Money.
  3. Tap on Wire Money.
  4. Tap on Add Recipient.
  5. Follow the prompts to add your recipient's information and complete the transaction.

Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for First Republic Bank Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
