What is the fuel policy for Dollar Rent-A-Car rentals?

Dollar Rent-A-Car's fuel policy is straightforward and customer-friendly. When you collect your rental vehicle, it will have a full tank of fuel. We kindly request that you return the car with a full tank as well to avoid any fuel charges. If the vehicle is not returned with a full tank, you will be charged for the missing fuel at the local market rate, in addition to a service fee. However, Dollar Rent-A-Car understands that in some situations, returning the car with a full tank may not be convenient. In such cases, you have the option to pre-pay for a full tank of gas at a discounted rate and return the vehicle as empty as possible. Please note that fuel purchased in advance is non-refundable, even if the car is returned with fuel in the tank.
