You are currently a DISH customer. However, you are planning to cancel your account. Therefore, you will need to return your DISH equipment.

You decided to choose DISH as your television provider as you heard they offer a great service. However, you want to cancel your contract and return your equipment, but you are unsure of how to go about it. Fortunately, it is easy to return your DISH equipment after canceling your contract, and it can be done via mail.

Read this easy to follow guide to find out the easiest way to return your DISH equipment after deciding to cancel your contract.

Returning Your Reciever:

If you are returning your receiver, the first thing you need to do is disconnect it from the wall and disconnect all the power cables.

You then need to locate your device Node, otherwise known as the hub. The hub is usually mounted to an outside wall. Once you have located the Node, remove the cables attached to it.

Once you have collected all the necessary equipment for your receiver, you need to package your equipment in the box that DISH sent you. You must then stick the prepaid shipping label to the returns box and cover or remove any other labels.

If you cannot find the original box and return shipping label, you can package your receiver in a box that you choose and send your return to this address:

525 Dunnett Court
Spartanburg, SC 29303-6603

Returning Accessories:

All DISH accessories can be returned within 30 days of purchase. However, you cannot return accessories after 30 days.

If you purchased an accessory bundle, you will need to return every item included in the bundle as individual accessories will not be accepted for return.

To return your eligible accessories, log into the MyHub platform on the DISH website. Then, locate the 'Accessories Purchase History' tab and click on it. From the purchase history page, select the 'Return or Replace' button next to the item or bundle that you would like to return.

You will then be provided with a return shipping label, which you need to print out and adhere to your return box.

It should be noted that modems are not eligible for return.

Shipping:

Once you have packaged your accessories or receiver, you need to ship your return. To do so, drop your box off to a local UPS location, and the staff will be able to deliver your return at no extra cost to you.

Alternatively, you can choose to deliver your return via USPS or FedEx. However, this will evoke an extra charge.

When shipping your return, remember to keep hold of the returns receipt and tracking information to ensure your delivery arrives safely.

If This Doesn't Work:

If you've read these tips carefully and followed each step, but you still don't know how to return your DISH equipment, contact the customer service team. The DISH customer representatives will be able to help you with any queries you have.
