Have your booking reference or e-ticket number ready, as you'll need it to retrieve your Cathay Pacific booking. If multiple passengers are included in the same booking, other passengers will also need to reschedule their flights.
To find your booking, enter your last name, given name, and booking reference or e-ticket number. Then, click Find My Booking.
If you're a Cathay member, you can also select Member Sign-In and enter your login credentials to access your booking. Eligible Cathay members may also qualify for free cancellation within 24 hours of booking when the ticket was purchased directly through Cathay Pacific. This may be worth considering if your plans have changed and a suitable replacement flight isn't available.
If your fare type is eligible for flight changes, tap in Change or Cancel Flight and follow the on-screen instructions to choose a new flight. If you don't see an option to make changes online, contact Cathay Pacific directly to discuss your available options.
If Cathay Pacific cancels your flight due to unforeseen circumstances, you should receive a notification with information about your available options. Depending on the circumstances, you may be able to change your flight or cancel and receive a refund.
Cathay Pacific may waive the usual rebooking fee when they cancel the flight. However, additional charges or fare differences may apply if you choose an itinerary outside the available rebooking options, such as a different route.
Select the applicable Change or Cancel option provided with your booking and follow the on-screen instructions. If you can't make the change online or can't find a suitable alternative flight, contact Cathay Pacific Customer Care for assistance.
The cost of rescheduling your Cathay Pacific flight depends on your fare type. If you purchased a Light or Essential fare, a rebooking fee applies when changing your flight. You may also need to pay any applicable fare difference between your original and new flights. Passengers with a Flex fare can change their flight without paying a rebooking fee. However, a fare difference may still apply if the new flight costs more than the original booking. If you have an Award Ticket, a rebooking fee will apply if you want to reschedule your flight.
Were you able to reschedule your flight? You can easily do this via the Manage Booking page or by calling Customer Care. You may still be able to change your flight through Cathay Pacific even if you purchased your ticket elsewhere, but you'll need to pay a rebooking fee. You also can't make this change on the website; contact Customer Care directly if you wish to change your flight. Additionally, a fare difference may apply depending on the duration of your stay, peak travel period surcharges, and the availability of your fare class. Still have questions? GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
