But what happens when you forget the password or need to change your password for security reasons. Luckily, Blizzard makes it very easy to reset your password online.
If you have completely forgotten your password, you will not be able to log into your account online. In this instance, go to the Blizzard website, click My Account in the top right-hand corner and select Log In to bring up the log in page. Click on Can't log in? and you will be given four options to let Blizzard know why you are having trouble logging in.
Select I don't know my password and you will need to enter the email address you used when first creating your account. Click Continue to receive an email that will contain a security code. Enter this code and click Continue.
You will be prompted to create a new password. It needs to be strong so avoid common words and phrases and try to include multiple words along with capital letters, numbers or symbols. Re-enter your new password, hit Save and you will be redirected to your account dashboard.
If you can remember your password but want to change it, you can reset it from your account dashboard. On the Blizzard website, click My Account and Log In or follow this link.
