How Do I Get a Refund from Blizzard?

Blizzard does not have a set policy for refunds. Instead, it judges requests for a refund on a case by case basis. You are more likely to get a refund if the product or service you are returning was not used. Also, the sooner you make your request, the more likely you are to get a refund. Waiting more than 30 days from the date of purchase will most likely mean you cannot get one. To make a refund request, you need to contact Blizzard's customer service, and there are two ways of doing this.

Online

  1. Go to Blizzard's home page.
  2. Click on the My Account link in the toolbar at the top of the page.
  3. Log in to your account.
  4. Click on the Support link in the toolbar at the top of the page. You will be taken to a page featuring icons for each of their products.
  5. Click on the icon for the product you want to return.
  6. Click on the Payments icon.
  7. Click on the Contact Support button.
  8. Describe the issue you have with the product or service, and make your request for a refund, in the text box.
  9. Click on the Continue button.
  10. Provide additional information as prompted and submit your refund request.

By Phone

Call Blizzard's customer support line. You will not have a chance to speak to an operator. Their phone support line only allows you to leave messages, so leave a message describing what product or service you want a refund for, and why.

Once you have made your request, Blizzard will decide whether to repair your damaged item, replace it with an equivalent item, give you a refund, or offer some other form of compensation. They may take a couple of weeks to come to their decision.

Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for Blizzard Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
