Deleting Your Bitcoin.com Account

There are some things you need to do prior to deleting your entire Bitcoin account. You can also delete certain wallets inside your Bitcoin account without closing the entire account.

To Delete a Wallet in Bitcoin

If you want to just delete a wallet in your Bitcoin account:

  1. Open Bitcoin on your device and log into your account.
  2. Click to view the wallets in your account.
  3. Select the asset type you wish to delete, such as Bitcoin or Litecoin.
  4. Choose the wallet this asset is in.
  5. Tap the three dots at the top of the screen in that wallet.
  6. Click "Delete this wallet" to remove it from your account.

Deleting the Bitcoin Wallet App

If you want to remove the app from your device, all you need to do is uninstall it. This will effectively delete it from your device. There are some things you want to do before taking this step.

  1. Make sure you've withdrawn all funds from the wallet before deleting the app.
  2. Save your backup files and passwords in the event you need to go back into the account at a later date or if you reinstall the app.

  1. Log into your Bitcoin.com account.
  2. Open "Settings."
  3. Click on the "Security Center."
  4. Select "Delete Account."
