Resetting Your Alarm.com Account

New Cameras

If you have installed new cameras and want to remove the old ones from your Alarm.com system, you can do that by completing the following:

  1. Hold the camera's reset button for the amount of time listed on the compatible camera's packaging.
  2. Once the camera shows that the factory reset is completed, do not unplug the camera. The camera needs to remain connected for a minimum of two minutes.
  3. Log-in to your Alarm.com account and remove the old cameras from your equipment listing. You must make sure the camera is removed in the event you wish to use it for another Alarm.com account or system. If it is still listed in the account it was originally attached to, it will not work on the new account.

Forgotten Password
