To port your Aircel SIM to another network, you need to ensure that your number is eligible for porting. Then, send an SMS with the message "PORT <your mobile number>" to 1900. You will receive a Unique Porting Code (UPC) via SMS. Visit the new service provider’s store with the UPC, a passport-sized photograph, and valid ID proof to complete the porting process. The porting will usually take a few days to complete.

Regretfully, getting a deactivated Aircel number reinstated may not be possible. If a number is deactivated due to non-usage, it typically goes into a pool for reassignment to other customers. It would be advisable to contact an active service provider for options regarding number selection. However, please note that it's unlikely specific numbers can be chosen, especially if they've previously been deactivated. Do remember to regularly keep your SIM active to prevent deactivation in the future.
