Visit an Authorized Location or Speak to Your Insurance Agent

If you haven't registered your account online and don't have your policy number, consider reaching out to your insurance agent. They may be able to help you get your policy number. Consider visiting an authorized AFLAC location as well. However, be sure to present valid identification as AFLAC needs to make sure you are the policyholder.

Note that you don't need to have your AFLAC insurance policy number to take advantage of the benefits offered by AFLAC. All you need is your membership card to receive benefits from AFLAC. Some of their insurance benefits include accident insurance with hospitalization, a lump sum payment for cancer patients, short-term disability insurance, dental and vision, and many more. Before buying a policy, make sure you fully understand what's covered to avoid problems in the future.

Contact AFLAC Directly

Another way to get details on your AFLAC policy is to call them directly via their 1-800 number. Just follow the prompts to speak to an agent. Be sure to have your AFLAC card with you, as they may ask for your member ID if you don't have your policy number.

Visit AFLAC's Contact Us page. You can call them directly from there. The website also has a Chat feature, but contact them only during business hours.

Conclusion

Did you get your policy number? You may need it when paying for your insurance premiums with AFLAC —having the policy number ensures the payment is applied correctly to your account. Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for AFLAC Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
