I bought a service on eBay, but the company has not delivered it. I initiated the refund process, but I mistakenly only reported one out of four items. The item number is [redacted]75. I asked the company to email my report to [redacted], but they have not responded. I'm starting to doubt if they even checked my injectors.

I reside in the Channel Islands. Despite informing eBay that Channel Islanders are legally exempt from paying UK VAT, they continue to deduct 20% VAT from my sales and fees. I have tried contacting eBay through emails, phone calls, and live chat, but have not received a resolution. I need guidance on how to reach someone at eBay who can address this issue, as the current customer service avenues are unhelpful.

Hello,
I created an eBay account, added items to my cart, and tried to make a purchase but encountered an error message in German (as I am currently in Germany) that I couldn't understand. I attempted to resolve this by emptying my cart because of a potential issue with multiple currencies.
Despite trying different approaches like purchasing items individually and adding them back to the cart, I was unsuccessful. When I logged out and back in, I was surprised to find a message stating my account was suspended due to "recent activity."
I am unsure why this happened and just want to buy the items for my college project. Could the issue be related to temporarily changing countries or is there another reason for this problem? How can I regain access to my account and proceed with purchasing the items I need?

Hello,
I received an email from Kyle Winterbottom at BestMark, a Mysteryshopping company I've worked with for years without any issues. He instructed me to purchase a $[redacted] eBay card at CVS, which I did and sent him the receipt. After the shop, he mentioned I could do more shops with a bonus, but now I haven't received my payment as promised. Kyle seemed legitimate, and he does show up as a BestMark employee. I'm unsure what to do next or how to get my money back. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thank you, Bianca MacConnell

I am kindly asking for assistance as I have been unable to list on ebay since around 10/13/19. Urgently seeking help now.
I want to express my gratitude to the ebay customer service team for their exceptional support. I recently lost my father and have been assisting my mother who is battling breast cancer. I opened an ebay account to help with my mom's medical expenses by selling my childhood toys. Despite delays in shipping due to my mom's surgery, I have fulfilled orders and even refunded shipping for some buyers.
I have resolved all issues except for a particular buyer, Mitchell Warren, who seemed to misunderstand my intentions, causing complications with ebay. I humbly request to be allowed to list again as my mom's financial situation is dire.
Please reconsider my account status as I need to continue selling for my mom's medical needs. Your understanding is deeply appreciated.
Warm regards,
Felicia Barbato

I recently received a warning email that appears to be from eBay. The email mentioned that I had made an offer outside of the platform. I did contact a seller to negotiate a lower offer for kitchen worktops and confirm the collection details. I don't see why this resulted in a warning, especially considering I have no negative feedback on my account, only positive. It's frustrating because I have reported instances where sellers have relisted the same item after encountering issues, but eBay has taken no action. It seems like eBay is only concerned about their profits and overlooks the concerns of their buyers like me. I hope eBay can address these inconsistencies. Regards, 2381petew.

Hello,
I believe I may have fallen victim to a scam. I received an email from Kyle Winterbottom at BestMark, a mystery shopping company I've had a good relationship with for years. The email instructed me to purchase a $[redacted] eBay gift card at CVS, which I did and sent the receipt. After the deed, I was informed that the shop was fake, but I could do more legitimate shops with a bonus. I was supposed to be paid on Wednesday but have not received any responses when I followed up. I acted quickly because it seemed genuine, as I've done similar jobs in the past. Kyle appears to be a valid BestMark employee. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Bianca M.

Refund Desired Outcome: I would like a refund of the $[redacted] spent on the unusable gift card. The website used by the scammer seemed genuine, using my BestMark ID. I believe there was a breach of my identity and I am seeking compensation. Online security measures should be improved to protect all customers.

Dear eBay Customer Service,
I am finding it very challenging to get in touch with you for assistance. There is no available phone number, and the instructions on the website are not effective for me, making it difficult to find the appropriate links for support. I urgently require your help with three orders:
1. Order #[redacted]03 - Women's Packable Down Jacket, priced at $15.55. I ordered a size "Medium," but it seems that this translates to an "XXS" in Chinese sizing, which was not clearly stated during my purchase. The return cost via USPS is $28, exceeding the jacket's price. I seek your intervention with the seller to address this discrepancy.
2. Order #[redacted]49 - Women's Packable Down Jacket, priced at $20.66. Mirroring the previous issue, I selected a size "Medium" that equates to an "XXS" in Chinese sizing. The return cost via USPS is $28, surpassing the jacket's value. I request your support in resolving this with the seller.
3. Order #[redacted]43 - US Winter Women's Hooded Ultralight Down Jacket, priced at $30.05. The website indicates delivery, yet the item never reached me. Regrettably, I can only attest to this on oath.
I would be immensely grateful for your assistance in rectifying these matters.
Thank you,
Suzanne Harmon I.

To whom it may concern,
I am not experiencing any issues with eBay at the moment. My concern lies with the new internet sales tax affecting the purchase of coins online. The added tax inflates the cost of buying coins due to their fixed catalog values, disrupting the delicate profit margins of coin dealers. This tax burden drives up the cost of coins beyond their actual value, dissuading coin collectors and buyers from making online purchases and steering them towards tax-exempt alternatives. Many coin sellers, including myself, are seeking new platforms to avoid this tax impact on coin transactions and the sale of collectibles. Coins and specific collectibles should remain tax-exempt to preserve the appeal of buying and selling online. eBay used to be a preferred marketplace for coins, but the imposition of sales tax by states has dampened its allure.
Sincerely,
Russ S.

Good evening,
I need information about my rights regarding an issue with an item (international tracked, RN[redacted]43GB) I bought. I mistakenly provided the wrong address. After contacting the seller, we agreed to wait for the item to return so it could be resent. Despite the tracking showing the item returning and being delivered, the seller claims it was not returned. I believe Royal Mail is liable for the loss and should compensate it. The seller claims Royal Mail's responsibility ends once it delivers the item. Shouldn't Royal Mail return the item for a wrong address? What are my chances of being reimbursed for the item?
Best regards,
Anna

I purchased an expensive item on eBay, totaling $[redacted]. The seller was located [redacted] miles away, so I arranged for a freight company to pick up a vintage stove. I paid the freight company $[redacted].xx, including funds for the seller's supplies. The seller requested that I confirm receipt of the item before it was loaded onto the truck to expedite the release of funds. The seller later became difficult to deal with, leading to the cancellation of the freight service. I am seeking advice on how to get a refund, remove positive feedback I left under pressure, and have eBay take action against this seller. Kindly assist me.

Regarding Claim GS=CU0778: I'm escalating my claim to customer service as I still have not received the correct item I paid for. On October 13th, instead of my order, I received the wrong product. After the unhelpful seller, I involved eBay. They have advised me to return the item by November 4th; otherwise, the case will be closed. The seller has approved the return but insists I use the return label from eBay, which I have not received. When I try to find details on returning the item on eBay, the provided address requests not to ship there but asks for a return label. This back and forth has gone on for some time, and I am unsure how to proceed next.

I haven't shared how eBay can resolve this yet. Despite my numerous attempts, eBay continues to play games. Over the past three months, I have faced multiple issues with eBay. They have wrongfully taken my money three times and have tried to shift the blame onto me. Their actions are turning reality into lies. My friends and I have had enough of this mistreatment. We plan to escalate this matter at the right time. We are determined to unite and stand up against this behavior. We refuse to be afraid and are prepared for what comes next. In German: WIR SIND VIELE!! - Regards, MACROMBA.

I bought a Halloween costume from an eBay seller, but it was out of stock, so they offered a refund. I made the purchase as a guest on eBay, not through my eBay account, and contacted the seller to sort out the refund. They said they refunded to my PayPal account, which wasn't how I originally paid. I've reached out to them multiple times with no response. I just want the refund for the costume that was never going to be sent to me.

On November 4, [redacted], I placed an order for a Sock Aid for dressing socks. During the checkout process, I provided my debit card information, which I typically use for purchases on Ebay. However, I was surprised to see that the payment was being processed through PayPal, with a message authorizing them to use my bank account for future payments without my consent. I strongly object to PayPal having access to my debit card details and any other information. Due to unauthorized withdrawals in the past, I have instructed my bank to block PayPal from using my account. Please cancel my order. I prefer to conduct transactions on Ebay using my debit or credit cards directly and not through PayPal. If PayPal continues to be involved in transactions on Ebay, I may have to reconsider my business relationship with the platform.

My account has been suspended without any valid reason. I did not receive any emails regarding this issue. The notification was sent to my account on eBay instead of my email. The message stated there were security concerns due to recent activity, resulting in an indefinite suspension. Item listings were removed, and outstanding fees are requested immediately. I had military challenge coins in my cart, including Fighter jet models kit, US Air Force coin, USA CIA medals, US airbase, and flags that are officially displayed on eBay. If these items caused security concerns, why are they allowed on the platform? I am confused by this situation and seek clarification from eBay about the suspension reasons. Thank you, Faisal.

I bought a stainless steel sink and unfortunately, it arrived with severe damage to the top left and right corners. The box and packaging were intact, so the damage must have occurred before shipping. The seller did not mention any damage in the listing or show it in the pictures, even when I asked about the condition before purchasing. Upon closer inspection of the listing photos, I realized that the corners were covered by plastic, hiding the damage. I contacted the seller explaining the situation and requested a full refund, but they just told me to file a claim with eBay. It's disappointing to see such deceptive behavior, especially since other buyers have experienced similar issues with this seller based on their negative ratings.

Hello, I received a wrong resolution for my case involving a purchase I made three months ago. The item I received contained only three pieces of plastic wrap, which is clearly not what I ordered. The seller's tracking number is LO[redacted]59CN. I have provided all this information in the case, including photos of the fake parcel and the discrepancy in weight. The weight of the received item is a maximum of 50 grams, while the item I ordered should weigh between 15 to 20 kilograms. I hope to receive a prompt response regarding this issue.

I am concerned about a recent buyer, howfaris-29, possibly attempting to scam me with a fraudulent account.
The buyer notified me of payment through an eCheque that has not cleared yet. Some of their messages made me suspicious, especially when they mentioned that sellers have shipped items before the payment went through.
Checking the buyer's feedback, I noticed discrepancies between the number of positive reviews displayed on my mobile versus my laptop. On mobile, there were no item numbers associated with the feedback despite being recent.
I have not proceeded with sending the item due to these red flags. I am reaching out to bring attention to this issue for further investigation into the buyer's account authenticity. Thank you.

I purchased 2 digital games on eBay from a seller who provided PlayStation account information, violating Sony's Terms of Service. When I asked for a refund, the seller requested a positive review first. I declined, leading to the items being removed from the platform. The account details are incomplete and non-functional, but I don't wish to engage in unlawful transactions. I raised the issue with PayPal, but they denied the refund, citing minor discrepancies in the item description. Consequently, I am unable to open a return case on eBay due to a payment error prompting me to contact PayPal. Additionally, I'm unable to reach eBay via phone as the website displays an error when I input my number. I reside in Egypt.
