Dear Community,
I recently encountered an issue with a purchase I made. I spent approximately [redacted]€ on a GoPro Karma Drone advertised as nearly new but sadly, it arrived heavily damaged and unusable. After opening a Return Case, the seller offered only a partial refund claiming high shipping costs. Despite accepting the offer, I never received the promised refund within the 15-day hold period. Seeking eBay's intervention, the case was closed without explanation and no refund was issued. My attempts to contact eBay, PayPal, and authorities have yielded no response. I am now unsure how to resolve this situation and am concerned about losing my money. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

I recently made a purchase on eBay using my partner's credit card, and her card was charged immediately upon purchase confirmation for the item "Bulle ermax yo187 blue ciel" from the seller riderpiecesmoto, which is a motorcycle windshield. Today, I received an unexpected machine part from France that I did not order or want. The sender, Stock in trade at 12 rue Albert Hervet, [redacted] Bourges, France, sent this item instead of my correct item with the item number [redacted]09. I am looking for a refund or to receive the original item that I ordered. Thank you, Richard M.

I would like to bring to your attention an issue I encountered with my recent order. Upon receipt of my order, I noticed that two bottles have expired five years ago. I am deeply concerned about the sale of expired cosmetic products as they could have adverse effects on my hair and skin. You can verify this information on checkcosmetic.net by selecting the brand CHI and entering the numbers D11197 located on the bottom of the bottles. The seller, runwaybeautytrends ([redacted]), claimed that the numbers represent the manufacturing date, not the expiration date, and that they were recently acquired from the supplier. I was advised to request a return for a refund. The order number is [redacted][redacted], and I made the purchase as a guest.

On May 1, [redacted], I purchased the "Veet Infini’ Silk Light Based IPL Hair Removal System for Home Use" for $61.19 from a seller on "deal 4you" ([redacted]57). I was disappointed when I realized after receiving the device in early June that it could not be used during the summer months and that it arrived faulty. I diligently waited till October 1, [redacted], to use it as per the instructions, only to find out that it doesn't work properly. Despite explaining this to "Deal 4you," they refused to accept the return citing a 60-day policy. I expressed my frustration at their lack of disclosure regarding the product's limitations and their sending of a defective item. I requested a return label for a refund, but they declined. I am still waiting for their response to exchange the faulty device with a new, functioning one promptly.

I need help with an issue regarding an email I received at [redacted] claiming I made a purchase on Ebay, which I did not. It looks like someone else is misusing my Yahoo account. The email contained transaction details and a Payment ID, which I did not authorize. I'd appreciate it if you could assist me in closing this unauthorized account and provide me with confirmation once this has been taken care of. Thank you for your help.

I recently purchased a lipstick from Gerard Cosmetics, a brand I have been loyal to for years. However, this time I bought it from a seller on eBay who claimed it was from the same store, just a Canadian one. I paid almost $30 expecting the same product. When it arrived, the color was more coral than the mauve it should be. I wanted to return it and even offered to return it in person because the seller wouldn't provide a return label. Unfortunately, the seller has been unresponsive. Additionally, I also bought a lip gloss with a description that didn't match the item received. The seller's lack of communication and accuracy is frustrating, and I hope to get a resolution soon without investing more time and energy into this matter.

I purchased a mobile phone on eBay and encountered issues with the delivery address provided by the seller. Despite contacting the seller for a resolution before my impending trip to Spain to visit my family, the seller was unhelpful and unresponsive. I requested the item to be sent to Spain, but the seller continued to provide generic responses and asked for a new delivery address without addressing my concerns. Their lack of communication and unprofessional behavior have left me frustrated. I wish to file a complaint against this seller. My eBay username is esponjaborracha. Please reach out to me via email for further information. The phone model I ordered and did not receive is the Honor 7A. Thank you.

Hello. I recently purchased a bulk lot of trading cards consisting of [redacted] cards from a seller in the US to enhance our collection for selling purposes. We paid extra for shipping to Europe. Upon receiving the cards yesterday, we discovered that about 50% of them are in poor condition, making them unplayable and unsellable. We feel like we have been misled. As there is a money-back guarantee on eBay, we are hoping to receive a partial refund. We have reached out to the seller but have not received a response yet. If the seller does not cooperate in finding a resolution, we plan to take further action, as $61 is a significant amount for us. Thank you for your assistance and advice. Regards.

Last year, my account was hacked, leading to the unauthorized opening of a fraudulent eBay store. eBay detected this and closed the account. Despite working with the fraud department to re-secure my account, I continue to receive emails from customer service about payments for the online store. I have contacted eBay three times, and each time they confirmed the closure of the store and assured me it's resolved. However, I'm still receiving threatening emails about payment. I want this issue resolved as I neither have nor intend to open an eBay store. The fraud department confirmed the closure, so why am I being pursued for payment? My email is [redacted], and my account is Jasvarn5. Thank you for your help!

Regarding PayPal Case PP-D-[redacted]3,
Buyer Email: [redacted]
eBay User ID: cumsponge_48
eBay Item: [redacted]10
The buyer made a purchase of a laptop from my eBay store on June 7, [redacted], and even left positive feedback on my eBay account shortly after receiving the laptop. I have a PDF document from Australia Post confirming delivery with a signature on June 12, [redacted].
Buyer's Postal Code: [redacted]
Australia Post Tracking Number: R[redacted][redacted]
Three months later, the buyer initiated a PayPal chargeback for an unauthorized transaction under the case ID: PP-D-[redacted]3.
Tracking information from Australia Post and eBay is only available for 60 days, making it challenging to confirm delivery online beyond that period. I contacted Australia Post, and they mentioned an increase in such fraudulent refund attempts due to the limitations of tracking visibility.
PayPal has debited the sale amount plus $15 from my account, believing this chargeback to be fraudulent.
Sincerely,
Peter

Hello, I am firecorentertainment on eBay. Thank you for looking into this matter. On September 29, [redacted], I sold a Marvel vs Capcom Infinite steelbook case to mahmood123 on eBay for £7.99. After receiving the item, mahmood123 claimed it was not as described. I provided a full refund and allowed him to keep the steelbook. However, on October 6, [redacted], he messaged me via eBay asking for additional payment to another PayPal account - [redacted] This raised red flags for me, and I promptly reported this to PayPal, leading to an investigation into his accounts. This behavior is fraudulent, especially considering he already received a refund. Given this situation, I question the validity of his claims and request a refund of my money, along with the suspension of his eBay accounts. Thank you for your time and understanding.

Hello,
I purchased two C-B TRAVEL-X electric folding scooters from cbtravelx on August 28, [redacted], and they were delivered on September 7, [redacted].
One scooter was defective and returned on September 14, [redacted]. The second scooter stopped working after only 42 miles of use and multiple rides. I fully recharged it before each use. Yesterday, while riding to work, the scooter suddenly shut down and cannot be turned back on.
I am seeking a full refund for the second scooter as I contacted cbtravelx via email, but they declined. The purchase history does not display the item after the first return and refund, which may be affecting the second scooter's return and refund process. I would appreciate your assistance in opening a case for the second scooter.
Thank you,

I recently noticed an unauthorized charge from PayPal on my bank statement from October 1, [redacted], for $1.56 for a purchase on eBay that I don't recall making. When checking my eBay app, I couldn't find any record of this transaction amount. I typically only use PayPal for eBay purchases, so I'm perplexed by this charge. I attempted to identify the seller from my bank statement, but upon searching eBay, the seller does not appear to exist. This discrepancy concerns me due to a past experience with identity theft. I would appreciate any guidance or information you can provide to help clarify this situation. Thank you for your assistance.

I won two auctions for vintage Barbie items from two different sellers. The first auction was on 10/1 with an opening bid of $15.90, which I won. However, the seller relisted the item after I paid and now won't respond to my messages. eBay won't let me open a claim because they say the item may be on its way, even though it's been relisted for a higher price. The second item, a vintage Barbie doll, I also won but the seller claimed it wasn't for sale after I paid and reached out about shipping. eBay won't allow a claim for this item either. Both items have no estimated delivery date, and I've been told I have to wait until after the estimated delivery date to make a claim. It's frustrating to have $40 tied up with no items or refunds as both sellers are unresponsive and haven't canceled the transactions.

I would like to cancel my order for a Genuine Magboy massager Model [redacted]83. I initially ordered one, but encountered issues with my first two credit cards, resulting in three orders instead of one. I tried to rectify this via email by requesting to cancel two orders, but upon further inspection, I realized that the product is an old and used model from [redacted], which I overlooked. The seller is Bays-mass.top, and the order numbers are Order No. 51, 52, and 53. Currently, the order status is PENDING, and as it has only been an hour since placing the order, no preparations for shipment have occurred. Given the age and condition of the item, I would like to cancel all orders and refrain from purchasing it. Thank you for your assistance.

As a Canadian seller on eBay.ca, I've encountered some challenges listing my Food Saver [redacted] as I'm only offered the description for Model FM5400 without the option to customize it. Additionally, the tax information only provides American states in the drop-down menu, not Canadian Provinces, even though I sell mainly to Canadians but also to Americans. It would be helpful to have a tax table that includes both Canadian provinces and US states, but I don't know where to find one or how to include it in the tax options. I also use Canada Post for shipping, but there's no place to include this information in the listing. I urgently need to speak with a representative to address these issues. Appreciate any assistance.

I placed an order for item number [redacted]98 a few days ago, but realized after the purchase that the seller does not accept Paypal. I prefer using Paypal for all my eBay transactions and am not comfortable using other payment methods. I have tried contacting the seller via email three times but have not received any response. The blouse costs $5.00, and although it is nice, I do not wish to proceed without Paypal. If the seller had stated their payment preferences clearly on the listing, I would not have bid on the item. Can you please assist me in communicating this to the seller? I look forward to shopping from them once they accept Paypal. Thank you, Valerie

I'm experiencing 2 concerns.
1. I recently received a 'defect transaction' message from eBay for item number [redacted]36, a mirror I auctioned on September 14, [redacted]. The buyer, who had initially cited a hospitalization issue, later mentioned her husband's cancer diagnosis and requested to cancel the transaction. Despite my understanding approach, I still received a 'defect transaction' tag, which seems unjust given the circumstances. Can this be rectified on my account?
2. URGENT! I have another buyer who made purchases on September 30 and October 3, for items [redacted]37 and [redacted]7. They committed to pick up the items on specific days but have not responded to my messages or shown up as promised. With our impending move this Friday, it's crucial to address this promptly without canceling the transaction. Any advice on the best course of action in this situation? Thank you, Jenny

I recently received a text from AT&T/DirecTV offering to reduce my bill by up to 50%. The number provided seemed legitimate, as they had my account details and outstanding balance. They claimed to have a promotion with eBay, asking me to purchase eBay prepaid cards for a discounted rate. They requested payment for 3 months on my cellphone ($[redacted]) and 5 months on my DirecTV bill ($[redacted]). I am concerned about the legitimacy of this request. Is there a way to trace the prepaid eBay cards and identify the individuals involved in this scheme? I can be reached at [redacted]. My name is Mark R. I would appreciate it if someone could follow up with me regarding this matter.

I recently requested a refund for a mystery box item worth $10, only to find out it contained jewelry, which I do not need as a man. Despite not having a PayPal account, the seller assured me they processed the refund through PayPal. Confused, I created a PayPal account assuming the $10 would be there, but it wasn't. After contacting eBay customer service, I received a transaction code without clear instructions. I am unsure how to proceed and worried about the refund going to a non-reloadable credit card. I hope the $10 refund can be transferred to the newly created PayPal account to resolve this confusion.
