I am new to eBay and recently placed an order. However, I encountered issues with completing the transaction and using a voucher code that had expired. Despite my bank authorizing the payment, eBay rejected it. I had difficulties contacting the seller as a new buyer. When seeking help from customer service, I was informed that I was not registered as a buyer and had to go through a lengthy process to rectify this. I also was promised a call from eBay to discuss the situation and a possible reimbursement, but have not received it yet.

I am facing an issue with my buyer's payment method. They have informed me that due to my settings showing "cash on collection," they are unable to change it. They have been advised to pay directly to my bank account, pay in cash, or re-list the item. However, the buyer cannot re-list because they have a flight booked for tomorrow to collect the vehicle. The details are as follows: My reference is andmck_8546, and the buyer's reference is Danny3934. The agreed upon price is for a Range Rover TDV8 in Bronze. I am hesitant to share my bank details but need a solution before the scheduled collection tomorrow at 5 p.m. Thank you for your help.

I recently sold a diamond ring in an auction that ended on Friday, the 23rd. The buyer contacted me on Saturday, inquiring about the item's shipment. I explained that I would send it once I received confirmation of the payment in my bank account. However, as of today, I have not received any funds from the sale. I reached out to the buyer, who claims to have contacted the auction site and was informed that the payment had been sent to me already. I have not received any such confirmation or payment. I need clarity on this matter before shipping the item. The item in question is a Diamond 22kt solitaire ring with the item number [redacted]58. Thank you.

I bought a neck fan from alanjac94 on July 17th. I've reached out to eBay multiple times with no response on why it hasn't been shipped. eBay asked me to contact them on July 30th (ref no [redacted]) to open a refund case. Today, I noticed the seller's shop disappeared, and the neck fan is no longer available. I suspect the seller may have stopped trading. Initially, I wanted the fan, but now I'd like a refund to buy from a different seller. I'd appreciate it if you could investigate whether this seller is legitimate and still active on eBay.

I sold an operational product, a car cassette deck, to a user with the username hunnysam8. They claim it started smoking upon installation, suggesting incorrect wiring. Despite sending a return label promptly, hunnysam8 returned the item last minute, missing parts and damaged. I reported him to eBay twice, but he was still refunded. Now, hunnysam8 is attempting to repurchase the item at a reduced price. eBay's lack of seller support is frustrating, and I am disappointed by the outcome. The cassette deck was never used and was in new condition. This ordeal has resulted in a loss of £[redacted] for me. I seek a resolution to this matter and hope for a response.

Subject: Missing Item in Order #[redacted] I purchased some trickle vents for our double glazing on July 17th. On July 26th, 4 out of the 5 vents arrived and were promptly installed on the house. I reached out to the seller on the same day to report that one of the vents was missing. Today, I received an email from eBay indicating that the seller tried to reach out to me regarding a refund or sending the missing item. I am unable to locate how to respond to this message directly, hence reaching out through this platform. I kindly request for the missing item to be shipped to fulfill the order since the other 4 vents are already installed and cannot be returned in pristine condition. I am inquiring about my suspended account due to an alleged owed payment. I want to address an issue from last March 27, [redacted], when I sold an item to R. (order number 07-06[redacted]7). Three months later, she disputed the transaction, claiming the item was fake with only a website link as evidence. Despite my attempts to communicate, your customer service has been unable to locate the case, and I never had the opportunity to respond to the dispute. I insist on receiving my item back before any payment is made. A website link is insufficient proof of authenticity; a formal statement from the vendor is necessary. Please provide clarification on this matter.

Hello, I purchased an item on July 22nd with the intention of using my £10 voucher to reduce the total payment from £80 to £70. However, after completing the transaction, it appears that the £10 voucher did not apply. I reached out to customer service for assistance, and they advised me to cancel the order and repurchase the item. I followed their suggestion, and made another payment of £70 for the same item. After further communication with customer service, I was assured that I did not need to take any additional action and that the original payment would automatically be refunded to my account within 3-5 working days. Unfortunately, this has not occurred. I also noticed on my eBay account that I still have the option to request a cancellation from the seller, which adds to my confusion. I am unable to access my eBay account as I recently changed my phone number. When attempting to log in, my password, which I am confident is accurate, is not being accepted. I am unable to reset my password since I am not receiving the authentication code on my old phone number, which I cannot update without accessing my account. It is frustrating as I cannot find a direct customer service phone number to resolve this issue. The solutions provided on the website seem to lead me in circles without a way to regain access to my account. I kindly request that an eBay customer service representative reach out to assist me with this matter.

I purchased a Tr - Walker on the 18th of May [redacted] for £89.99. The return cost was supposed to be £15, resulting in a total refund of £74.99. However, I only received £59.99, which is £15.00 short. It seems that both CareCo and you have charged for the return. CareCo instructed me to contact you for the remaining £15.00 credit. Please credit my account accordingly.

On March 13th, I purchased a facial hair remover that has stopped working flawlessly. I reached out to the seller on August 30th about the issue but have not received a response yet. The product has only lasted for four months, and I believe I deserve a refund. The seller’s name is matchless12. On August 8th, I followed up with several messages to the seller but have not received any replies. After seeing multiple negative reviews about this seller, I am concerned. The hair remover has been used fewer than 10 times, and I am seeking a refund for this defective product.

I have two separate eBay business accounts, both under my name and address, using eBay managed payments to the same bank account. I have been a top-rated seller for over a decade without any issues. Recently, I opened a new private account to sell personal items from home. After being instructed to switch to managed payments, I linked the same bank account used for my business accounts. Despite verifying my bank account successfully, my business accounts were flagged for verification on July 15th and 16th, respectively, causing funds to be held since mid-July. Despite multiple attempts and document submissions, including additional requests for identification, my one business account was suddenly suspended on July 30th due to alleged discrepancies in my uploads. After several frustrating live chats, unfruitful calls, and promised emails that never arrived, I am left confused and unable to access approximately £[redacted] in held funds and £[redacted] in the suspended account. The lack of communication, inconsistent responses, and language barriers have made it challenging to resolve this issue.

In [redacted], I opened an eBay account primarily for purchases. Recently, I started selling but after six weeks, I faced an issue listing items for sale. After contacting support multiple times without a resolution, I was told it was due to a site bug. Despite assurances from a manager named Michael, my account was temporarily suspended without explanation. Despite waiting for days, the issue persisted. I received contradictory messages, and my account was suspended again after finally being able to list an item. Despite reaching out to eBay's CEO and various managers, the problem remains unresolved after four weeks. It seems support chat representatives are unable to assist, and I suspect some misconduct within eBay regarding my account. I have even heard reports of my account being put up for sale. I hope for a prompt resolution to this matter to uphold consumer rights and address the concerning issues within eBay.

My account was compromised by someone in Florida who altered all my information, including address, password, login details, and phone number. Unauthorized bids were made using my account, prompting me to cancel my Paypal account and block any transactions with my bank. Despite the frustrating automated messages on eBay, speaking directly to a customer service agent resolved the issue effectively. Although my account has been restored, receiving unnecessary emails about past bids continues to be a problem. Regrettably, after more than a decade as an active eBay user, I am considering closing my account due to security concerns. I feel more reassured about using Amazon, as I trust their system's security more than eBay's.

My eBay account has been suspended without any explanation or email on how to reactivate it. I am extremely frustrated with eBay's payment process. They have been deducting money from my account without releasing the pending transactions simultaneously, resulting in double the amount being held on my credit limit. There are over £1,[redacted] in duplicate charges currently pending because of this issue. I urge you to release these duplicate charges immediately. This is the second time I have encountered this problem with your system. Many users on forums have also reported similar errors. Kindly address this issue promptly.
