Good morning, I purchased a Ford Fiesta van on eBay. I kindly informed the seller that I am on holiday and will be back on Friday. He mentioned he is emigrating to Australia on Friday and arranged for a friend to handle the pickup. I tried calling and emailing him but did not receive a response. This morning, I received an email stating I need to sell the van to someone else due to his emigration. I wish to resolve this promptly. Thank you and have a great day. Gary

I purchased a new cellphone (Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra) on eBay by winning an auction. Unfortunately, the seller cancelled the order right after, claiming that I had provided an incorrect address. This was not true as I have used the same address successfully on eBay before. I reported the seller for violating eBay's policies as I suspect they cancelled the order due to receiving a lower amount than expected. I did get a refund on my credit card; however, the refunded amount was much less than the purchase price.

I sold two items on eBay, but my seller payouts are on hold, and some services are blocked. eBay requested an account update with my ID photo, which I provided, including a passport page with my picture. Despite this, the payouts are still pending. I need help resolving this matter as I am not great with technical issues. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I would like to raise a concern regarding the advertisement of two items. The price listed did not align with the amount charged on my PayPal account due to VAT being added post-purchase. It is important for items being sold in the UK to clearly state "+VAT" or display the total cost inclusive of VAT to avoid confusion. This misleading practice post-sale is disappointing and should not be tolerated, especially for a reputable platform like eBay. Item: FU[redacted]36GB Router Bit (free shipping) was advertised at £7.49, with VAT increasing the final charge to £8.99. Item: EE[redacted][redacted]003AON Vegetable Chopper (free shipping) was listed at £5.64, with VAT raising the total to £6.77. While I am satisfied with the products, I am dissatisfied with the method of sales used. Adding VAT after the purchase is deceptive and goes against fair sales practices in the UK. As a long-time member of the eBay community, I urge for more transparency in pricing. Thank you.

I am having trouble downloading my photos on eBay when trying to list an item for sale. The error message says "Invalid photo," even though my photos are all correct. Strangely, I can download my photos on the U.S. eBay site, but I prefer to use the UK one. Why is eBay preventing me from downloading my photos now, when I have never had this issue before after many years on the platform? I need this problem resolved before I can continue using eBay. I purchased cake tins that turned out to be smaller than expected. I decided to keep the first order, which cost $4.95, and placed a second order for what I believed were larger tins. Unfortunately, I received the same small item again. After contacting the seller and being informed that the sizes were in the description, I returned the item at my own expense. Despite the seller claiming to have issued a refund, it has not shown up in my bank account. I am also seeking a refund for the postage costs, for which I have the receipt.

I would like to discuss a recent refund I received for an iPhone 12 phone case, item number: 4F[redacted]00A75330C, from seller user suya2628 on eBay. The item arrived quickly and well packaged, but unfortunately, the Perspex cracked when I tried to place the front part on. I contacted the seller, who promptly apologized and offered a replacement or refund. Impressed with the service, I left positive feedback even though I declined the replacement. Today, I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email stating that the full amount, including postage, had been refunded to my account. I am a frequent buyer on eBay and this level of service is the best I have experienced on the platform. It is important to recognize and appreciate sellers who go above and beyond. Thank you.

I purchased socks on November 1st. However, last week, I received a letter requesting additional payment for the delivery. After paying, I was disappointed to find out that the socks I received were not the ones I ordered. The seller offered a partial refund of £1, but requested an additional £3.99 for shipping. I am frustrated with eBay and the seller for the ongoing issues with my purchase. I have been trying to contact the seller for over four months through various means like emails, calls, and WhatsApp messages. Sky Net Worldwide is now saying I won't get a refund because the seller won't communicate with them. I have proof of my purchase through emails, bank statements, and communication records. This problem has been ongoing since September. Despite efforts to reach a resolution, I still haven't received the item or a refund. The seller provided their contact information, but the situation remains unresolved. I even received an item I didn't order, and now there's no response regarding the missing item or refund.

The item I received was damaged upon delivery. I promptly refused the shipment, and it was returned to the seller. I have requested a refund, but the seller mentioned they are awaiting an insurance payout from the delivery company before issuing the refund. This incident occurred back in July, and the resolution process is prolonged. The seller seems to have spent the funds I paid them before ensuring the item reached me undamaged. Now, they assert they are unable to reimburse me until they receive the insurance reimbursement, which is uncertain.

I recently sold two items on eBay and shipped them to the buyer over a week ago. The buyer confirmed receiving the items, but my payout is now on hold indefinitely due to an unclear restriction. EBay advised me to check my messages for instructions on how to resolve this, but I have not received any such messages in my eBay inbox. Despite trying to call eBay twice today for assistance, I have been unsuccessful as a recorded voice directed me to seek information on their website.

I am hoping to receive a call from eBay customer service. I am experiencing an issue with auto payments. When I send an offer on eBay, the site automatically processes the payment, and I would like to have the ability to choose how I make my payments (such as using PayPal to pay in three installments or utilizing PayPal credit). I do not appreciate eBay making decisions on my behalf. Can someone please reach out to me to help me resolve this matter? I prefer speaking with a human representative rather than dealing with a robot, as I find robots to be unhelpful.

I recently sold a PS4 on eBay. The tracking information shows that the item has been delivered to the buyer, but they have reported that it did not arrive in working condition. I am currently assisting the buyer in getting the PS4 operational. However, I am concerned that if the tracking number is not updated or if the buyer resolves the issue, eBay may automatically issue a refund to the buyer by January 2nd when the appeal must be closed.

I later discovered a surprising negative balance of -£62.94, leading to a call to a debt collection agency. Confusion arose as I was unaware of additional charges for using the "buy now" option. When offered a reduced fee, I declined and eBay agreed to review the situation further. Disheartened by this experience, I contemplate deleting my eBay account to avoid further issues.
