I just wrote a long email to Family Link seeking help with an issue. I accidentally restricted my 14-year-old daughter from accessing YouTube and TikTok by setting her age group restriction to 0-7 years. In an attempt to adjust the restrictions, I changed her date of birth, which resulted in me getting locked out. While browsing YouTube, I came across a situation regarding their compliance with the new EU regulations (Article 27 of the Audiovisual Media Services Directive). They are requesting ID documents for their database, but it does not specify ID cards or credit cards in the regulations. What they are doing may be illegal as they are not a government entity and do not have the right to enforce identification laws. This action could be a breach of GDPR regulations, which are in place to protect personal data.

When I checked my YouTube account yesterday morning, I saw a message stating that the account had been suspended due to a violation of the Terms of Service. My account was hacked on Friday, and the hacker posted videos related to HWID Spoofers, a topic unfamiliar to me. I promptly removed the videos, changed my password, but now I cannot access my account. I am unsure how to reach YouTube support as I do not have their contact email. Hello, I am encountering a significant issue related to one of your YouTube channels, 'POLICE TUBE'. I have been leaving comments on the videos requesting the creator to refrain from making false accusations against public officials in Orlando, FL, where I reside. The situation escalated when my full name was disclosed to his 13,[redacted] subscribers and, to make matters worse, he shared my address, putting my family at risk of harm. This has resulted in threatening behavior from his followers who have shown up at my home, creating an unsafe environment for my wife, two young children, and me. I have documented evidence of the disclosure of my personal information and threats made by the followers. Unless actions are taken to address this situation effectively, I will be forced to pursue legal recourse against YouTube as I am unable to directly hold him accountable. It has been over two weeks and dozens of emails sent by me and my client without any responses or changes.

Posted his second video titled Dante - Vidi Freestyle#2.
This is a music video that I directed and exported, and it was uploaded in 4K MP4 H264 18:10 ([redacted]*[redacted]).
However, after processing the video in HD, there was no 4K treatment, and the video is only available in 1080p on YouTube.
Additionally, YouTube used the AVC codec for compression instead of the VP9 codec, which should be used for a 4K video like this to achieve better image processing and quality.
I would like to request that you restart the video processing or take action to achieve the desired 4K quality and use the VP9 codec without having to re-upload the video and lose views, etc.
It is not acceptable that a 4K file is not being treated as such, over 10 days after it was posted.

My account was terminated for sending one abusive comment to a channel named **** bound heathen. I admit I was in a moment of rage when I cussed out the individual, who was mocking a victim of abuse. I saved the comments I sent and I am willing to share them to show the context. I hope a real person can review my case and understand the circumstances that led to my outburst. I even reached out to the person I directed the comments to, apologized, and made amends. I suspect it might be due to a playlist with over two days of Amber heart trial information, but with low viewership, it's puzzling. She then messaged me, insisting on talking via WhatsApp and later proceeded with a nude video call, threatening to make it public. Following this, someone claiming to be Mr. Gaurav Malhotra from Cyber Crimecell Agra contacted me, pressuring me to contact a fake YouTube helpline and pay to have the video removed. I reported the incident and recorded all interactions. Please be cautious and avoid engaging in video calls with unfamiliar individuals to prevent falling victim to such scams.

I was recently deceived by an individual named Neha Sharma. She reached out to me through a friend request on Facebook. After accepting, she pressured me into a video call, which I declined, leading me to unfriend her. Despite this, she continued to contact me and eventually shared her phone number, insisting we communicate via WhatsApp. When I dialed the number [redacted], she proceeded to initiate a nude video call and encouraged me to activate my camera. Although I refused at first, she persistently requested it, specifying that my face needed to be well-lit. I complied briefly before the call abruptly ended after a few seconds. Subsequently, she demanded I accept her friend request on Facebook once more, which I refused. Shortly after, I received a video recording of our chat, along with threats to share it with mutual friends online. To address this, I blocked her number. A week later, I received a call from Mr. Gaurav Malhotra, claiming to be an SHO from the Cyber Crime Cell in Agra with contact number 94531xxxx. Allegedly, Neha Sharma had lodged a complaint against me for our conversation. He warned me of the video going public and advised me to contact the YouTube helpline, which caught me off guard. Upon calling the YT help line, a person speaking in Hindi instructed me to pay Rs. 22,[redacted] to remove the video, providing a non-YT affiliated bank account associated with Orissa. Sensing foul play, I raised a complaint with the cybercrime team and was part of a three-way call with Mr. Gaurav and the cybercrime representative. The SHO was forceful in his approach. I have a comprehensive record of all interactions and have shared them with the cybercrime unit. I caution against making payments to such individuals and advise refraining from video calls with unknown parties as this seems to be a new tactic for extortion. It's evident that the supposed inspector is complicit in these schemes for monetary gains.

My old YouTube account was disabled without warning due to some very old videos posted on an older channel associated with my email. I had no idea someone would review those old videos. I admitted in my appeal that the videos were meant for fun between friends, like a roast where I had permission from them. I may have mistakenly made those private videos public unknowingly in the past, not fully understanding YouTube's rules at the time. While I accept if the videos need to be removed, it seems extreme to disable all my channels linked to that email, especially since my main channel, Reece H, doesn't have any such content. I respectfully requested the account be reinstated. Their response stated that my account suspension will be upheld based on their Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
