I set up my Yahoo account years ago but switched to Gmail and stopped using it. Now, as I had to replace my iPhone due to multiple drops, I'm asked to log in to my social media accounts linked to my old Yahoo email. The passwords for these accounts may be the same as my Yahoo one, but I'm unable to access them and the password resets are sent to my inactive email. I have all the necessary verification details to recover my Yahoo account. I'm hesitant to create new social media accounts as my friends and family are on the old ones. Since it's been a while since I last used Yahoo, I'm worried it might be deactivated. If so, I would like to find out and see if there's a way to reinstate it.

As a longtime supporter and user of Yahoo, I value the platform for staying informed and engaged in U.S. politics. Recently, I've encountered a recurring issue where my comments on Yahoo News articles seem to disappear. I believe in the freedom of speech and express my opinions respectfully. It's frustrating not being able to participate in the discussions. If there are specific guidelines or reasons behind this, I would appreciate clarification. Kindly provide instructions on how to maintain commenting privileges and offer an email contact at Yahoo for further assistance if needed. Thank you for addressing this matter. - Bob B

I am encountering an issue trying to access my YAHOO email account, which I have had for over 20 years. After entering my email and password, a message stating "your Yahoo account shows some unusual activity" appeared. It directs me to a recovery email I haven't used in over 15 years, which I find concerning. When I contacted YAHOO customer service, they asked for my credit card information to sign up for a monthly support service, which I am not willing to do after all these years. Can I regain access to my email and review the alleged unusual activity without subscribing to this monthly support service?

I was offline for quite some time and used various prepaid phones with different numbers. Now that I have a new phone, I'd like to use Facebook and communicate with my sister on Messenger, but I've forgotten all my passwords. My recovery codes are sent to my Yahoo mail, but I can't access that account anymore. Starting a new one is not an option as I don't recall the number of the phone I used at that time. I need help to access my account [redacted] Although my address and phone number have changed multiple times, I know my social security number and my mom's maiden name, as well as some security questions like my dog's name, high school name, favorite movie, etc. My current number is [redacted], so texting would work best. I am having trouble accessing my Yahoo Mail because I do not have access to the account key. I am unable to retrieve my old phone, which has the account key, as it is with the police and will not be returned to me for 11 months. My name is Jody Hoole, and my email is [redacted] I urgently need to access my Yahoo account to retrieve photos of my recently deceased sister. Lately, I've been having trouble accessing my email address, and now I can't get in at all. I've been attempting to log in via Yahoo using the link provided, but when I hit "NEXT," it times out with the message: "This site can’t be reached loginprodx.att.net took too long to respond." Despite multiple attempts yesterday, I could only access it temporarily. I've had this email for over a decade without issues. When I tried the "trouble signing in" option, I was asked for information I couldn't remember, like an old security question.

I have an iPhone 8 and use two Yahoo email addresses on the Yahoo app. Recently, one of the addresses appears twice in the app, creating duplicate email boxes. I've attempted to delete the duplicate without success. Even after deleting and reinstalling the Yahoo app, the issue persists, with one email address showing a "key" next to it. I'm frustrated and seeking assistance on how to remove the duplicate email box from my iPhone. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I purchased an Apple iPhone in [redacted] via Consumer Cellular. Initially, the phone worked well, but for the past three days, I've been unable to send or receive emails. It seems that AT&T may be causing the issue. When accessing my email through www.my.yahoo.com on my laptop, everything is fine, but my iPhone hasn't been able to connect since last Monday. I've tried changing my passcode as instructed on the laptop and updating it on the phone, but it hasn't resolved the problem. I've spent over 10 hours on calls with AT&T representatives from around the world, but unfortunately, they have not been able to assist me effectively. Having access to my email on my mobile phone is crucial for receiving important messages from physicians and reminders. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you. - LL

My Facebook account was unexpectedly closed while using it, leading to me being locked out of both my account and my Yahoo email. This situation has caused significant distress as my personal life, family connections, and business activities are all tied to my Facebook profile. Reestablishing access to my email and Facebook account is crucial. I am troubled and frustrated by the lack of access. I do not have the financial means to pay for Yahoo's assistance in resolving this issue, as I firmly believe I should not be barred from accessing my accounts. My Facebook account contains important information related to my daughter's athletic endeavors for college, including sports videos. Please assist me in recovering my Yahoo email and Facebook accounts promptly. The sudden closure and subsequent inability to log back in while conducting business activities on Facebook are perplexing and distressing. Your urgent help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I am experiencing difficulty in receiving authentication codes to access my Yahoo email account on my computer. Unfortunately, the assistance I received from Yahoo Customer Support Live did not resolve the issue. They claimed the problem was due to my phone service bandwidth, which was proven incorrect by my phone service provider confirming the messaging service was working well. I am unable to change my phone number or use the recovery email as it has been discontinued. Yahoo is now requesting payment to chat with a third-party (BBB) for assistance, which I cannot afford. The shift from customer-oriented service to current practices of robot responses or costly third-party chats is frustrating. In [redacted], customer care was a priority, but now it seems inaccessible. I seek a solution to access my Yahoo email without resorting to paid services, or I may need to consider moving to another email provider. Thank you.

Hi, approximately a month ago, when I accessed my Yahoo email account, I noticed a different login interface with a question about recent account activity. Despite the prompt warning of a potential hacking incident, I proceeded to check my emails. Unfortunately, messages from a specific sender, Mark Warren Estate Agent, were missing, while others remained. An unexpected email suggesting a solution to being hacked led me to inadvertently download an app on my phone. Now, I am continuously prompted for a verification code each time I log in on my laptop, due to the app. I have lost both phones with no access to the codes sent to them, so I am seeking assistance to remove the unwanted app and revert to the traditional email login method using my username and password. What could have caused this situation, and can you please address it? The email for contact belongs to my partner, and my email is [redacted] I kindly request no emails to be sent as I am currently unable to retrieve them. Thank you in advance for your help.

I am having trouble accessing my Yahoo account. I encountered issues with my AT&T phone and visited their store yesterday to troubleshoot. Since then, I have lost access to all my data - emails, contacts, and numbers have been erased. I am unable to log into my email account. I am reluctant to change my password as I have multiple accounts linked to it. I am seeking assistance as I am unable to access professional support.

I received a notice via email today regarding a Yahoo update prompting me to upgrade my account. It stated that there were unauthorized sign-in attempts to my AT&T account from an unrecognized device in Texas, US on July 22, [redacted] using Chrome on Mac OS X. I confirmed this was not me and followed the instructions to review my account activity and remove unfamiliar devices. However, I could only sign the unknown person out and not remove them entirely. When I accessed my email account on my phone, it showed a different name, "Earlene," linked to the AT&T account. I contacted AT&T, and they confirmed no breach on that account, advising me to reach out to Yahoo. After calling AT&T, my email address was restored on my phone. I am unsure if this is a technical glitch or an issue I should address further. Thank you for your assistance.

I am experiencing an issue with my email on my iPad. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but now I am unable to sign in successfully. After selecting to sign in with Yahoo, I am prompted to allow access, and then it asks for my email. Although I have attempted to sign in with both of my accounts, the process redirects me to another device. Upon confirming the sign-in attempt on my phone, I am redirected back to the initial sign-in screen on the iPad. This cycle prevents me from progressing to entering my password and accessing my email. I am unsure if the problem lies with my email, Yahoo, or my actions. Any assistance or guidance on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Melissa

My email account vanished unexpectedly. Yahoo won't accept my login details. Get Human seems like a robot and didn't help. I had to figure it out alone as Yahoo's help pages were frustrating. Hoping to avoid more automated messages about Get Human. Switched to a Microsoft email due to all the issues, which is working for now.
