I am having trouble with my Yahoo account. Despite entering what I believe to be the correct password, Yahoo indicates it is incorrect. Unfortunately, I am unable to access my recovery device, a cellphone ending in ...[redacted]. I wish to update my recovery device to the email [redacted] to resolve this issue.
I am currently at my computer and available for assistance. I received an email from Get Human offering help to guide me through this process with Yahoo, but I cannot simultaneously access Yahoo on my cellphone. It is frustrating that changing the password with Yahoo appears more challenging compared to other platforms.
Thank you,
S. Becker

I tried to log in to my Yahoo account as usual, but it seems like my email has been hacked. The email address and phone number linked to the account have been changed without my authorization. Additionally, I have been receiving fake messages from someone pretending to be my bank, which prompted me to contact my bank to inform them of the situation.
I reached out to a Yahoo specialist and provided them with the necessary information to verify my account, such as listing frequent emails and details of contacts. However, I received an email back saying my answers were incorrect, indicating that the hacker might have altered my account information to prevent me from regaining access.
This situation is quite concerning as my email is crucial for personal and financial matters, including banking and charity activities. I urgently need assistance to regain access to my email account or secure its deletion. Any guidance or support would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

This program is very frustrating. I'm trying to join a Yahoo group to receive important school updates for my child. The system is insisting that I create a Yahoo email address when I want to use my own email. I do not wish to have a Yahoo email just for this purpose. It seems like I have to create a Yahoo email to proceed, but that's not what I want. I've attempted to use another email option, but whenever I click continue, I receive an error instructing me to create a Yahoo email. I understand the desire to increase user numbers, but I would prefer not to be forced into it. Kindly allow me to join these school groups without requiring a Yahoo email address.

We recently discovered fraudulent activity on some of our accounts, prompting us to update all passwords. We encountered difficulty changing the password for our account [redacted], as we no longer have the original password due to a former employee's departure. Despite efforts, the system redirects us to a different Yahoo account (larry@[redacted]) after entering the verification code sent to our work number. This loop prevents us from securing the [redacted] account. We seek guidance on resolving this issue and successfully changing the password to safeguard our account. Thank you for your assistance.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I recently performed a factory reset on my Motorola G 5 Plus and while all my apps were reactivated, I am facing an issue with activating my Yahoo mail account. Unfortunately, I can't remember the login credentials needed to reset or reactivate it. Yahoo mail holds critical information for me such as previous income tax returns and it's also linked to my bank accounts. I kindly request your assistance in restoring access to my Yahoo mail account.
My alternative email is [redacted], and my mobile numbers are [redacted] and [redacted] (the last one being associated with Yahoo mail). I am able to provide identification documents like my PAN card, Aadhaar card, voter ID, and my ex-employer Union Bank of India ID card as proof of my identity and senior citizen status.
I greatly appreciate your help in advance.
Best regards,

I am experiencing issues accessing my Yahoo mail account. I have signed out from all my devices and then installed the Yahoo app on my new phone. When trying to sign in, Yahoo requested a verification code, but I discovered that my phone number was entered incorrectly during the registration process, leaving out a digit. This has made it impossible for me to receive the verification code. Since I am not signed in on any mobile phones and my account key cannot assist me, I am seeking help to sign in using my password or an alternative method. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, Jelena Jordanov.

The recent change to the Yahoo format caught me off guard as I didn't receive any prior notice. This alteration has affected the way my emails appear on the page, causing confusion and potential issues, like the loss of important data stored in email drafts. A resolution is needed as this has significantly impacted my life, especially concerning a pending court case.
As a long-time customer, I kindly request a gift card as a tangible apology for the inconvenience caused. I am willing to provide my details privately for activating the card. Please contact me at [redacted] to arrange this gesture.
Thank you,
Gerard

My phone is currently not functioning properly, preventing me from accessing my emails. I have resorted to using my iPad instead, where I encountered a problem logging into my Yahoo email account due to a forgotten password. When attempting to reset the password, the verification process requires a text message, which I cannot receive because of my broken phone. Despite providing the correct phone number on file, I still could not proceed with the login. Unfortunately, contacting Yahoo's customer service for assistance involves a monthly fee, which I find unreasonable. It would be helpful to have alternative methods for verifying identity in situations like this, such as security questions. It is puzzling why such an option was not provided. I just want to regain access to my emails on Yahoo without unnecessary hurdles. Thank you.

Security Concern with iCloud Backup
I have an iPad Pro that broke and was replaced with a new device. I restored it using my iCloud backup, but during the installation, I was prompted for a password for data linked to [redacted] I declined but now every time I turn on the device, it requests my Apple ID before asking for the [redacted] account password. I'm concerned about a security breach. Can this account be eliminated, and what steps should I take to secure my information? Your help is much appreciated.

I am seeking help for my dad, who is 48 years old and struggles with technology. Unfortunately, he has forgotten/lost the passwords to his Yahoo and Facebook accounts. Although he has created new passwords, we are particularly interested in recovering his Facebook account.
When I was younger, I used my dad's Facebook account as I was not allowed to have one. On there, I made a friend named Macy whom I would like to reconnect with. Additionally, I played a game called Happy Pets and named the pets creatively; I would love to revisit those memories. Moreover, his account holds photos from my 16th birthday and various conversations that are sentimental to me.
Is there a way to recover his account by submitting his ID to Yahoo for identity verification? We have attempted the security questions, but it seems likely that he might have entered incorrect answers accidentally. Any guidance on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have been using Yahoo email for twenty years, but since it updated and is no longer available on Google, I have had difficulties. Having an in-the-cloud archival system is crucial for my office to store information for future use. Without it, I would have switched email services swiftly. The bookmark service on Google is also essential for recurring office tasks. If not for these features, I would have already transitioned to using Firefox.

I am struggling to regain access to my Yahoo account after my phone was stolen two weeks ago. Despite attempting various solutions and reaching out to Yahoo through Twitter and phone calls, I haven't made any progress. I typically used my phone for account logins, and without it, I face difficulties. I lack an alternative email for the "account key" feature but remember my password, which the system is not prompting me for. This situation is crucial to me, and I am feeling distressed by the inability to access my account. I am hopeful that someone here can provide assistance promptly. Thank you for any help you can offer.
