My account was hacked. Despite setting up all security measures, I was not notified by phone. The hacker not only removed all safety features but also accessed government and personal emails. They even sent threatening messages and attempted to blackmail me. How could this breach occur? I have been logging in from Colorado for over four years without any issues, and suddenly someone from another state gains access, makes unauthorized changes, and threatens me. I am deeply concerned and frustrated about this situation.

Hello,
I am experiencing an issue with my wife's Yahoo Mail account. Although she is using the correct password, we are unable to access the account due to the second-stage verification not being linked. The recovery phone number listed is unfamiliar to us, and the iPhone notification option does not send any notifications to either of our devices.
As we are located in South Africa, none of the Yahoo phone numbers listed appear to be functional. Any assistance or guidance on resolving this matter would be highly valued.
Thank you,
Mike

A while back, I set up a Yahoo account. Unfortunately, I lost the phone where the account information was stored. I am unable to log in now, although a few of my accounts are linked to this locked Yahoo email "[redacted]". It has been over 9 years since I last accessed this account, and I can't remember the password or access the recovery options. I am hoping to contact Yahoo support to explore options to either forward my emails to my new address or reset the account password. Thank you for looking into this.

Hello,
I have a problem with accessing my old email address: [redacted] I've been unable to access it for a long time. I tried again recently, and now the account has been deactivated. I still use this email for Facebook and Origin. I won't be able to access my Origin account without being able to access this email address. The confirmation email states that the account is [redacted], which belonged to my brother, who also has not had access for a long time and has a new email address.
Sincerely,
Chiara Birkelbach

I need assistance with accessing my Amazon account after facing difficulties with my password. I tried multiple times to log in, prompting a confirmation email to be sent to my inactive Yahoo account due to prolonged non-usage. However, upon attempting to log in to Yahoo, I discovered my account was deactivated due to inactivity. Research showed that Yahoo typically deactivates accounts after 12 months of inactivity. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a way to contact customer support. Conversely, Amazon's customer service seems more accessible. I located their customer service phone number and hope they can assist with account recovery. I am unsure if my Yahoo account is permanently deleted, so I seek clarification on this matter. Thank you in advance for your help.
Best,
Leandro K.

Hello! I am having trouble accessing my old Yahoo account as I can't recall the password. When trying to recover it, Yahoo Mail only prompts for my old mobile number, which I no longer have. I am unsure about how to proceed with the recovery without this information. I would like to update my mobile number on the account, but I am unsure of the process. Any assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I tested the NORD VPN service during the trial period but found it to be ineffective. Despite uninstalling it over a month ago, I continue to be charged $4.99 monthly. I have already contacted NORD, but they were unable to assist me, and the online billing portal did not resolve the issue. I now see charges on my account from your end. I do not wish to keep this service and will contest the charges. Kindly cancel this subpar service and cease billing me. Thank you.

Dear Sir,
I encountered an issue where my Yahoo account was hacked years ago. Consequently, all replies from my contacts are still being directed to the hacked account, [redacted] Despite reaching out to the Microsoft team, I have not received any response thus far. This situation poses a risk as confidential information is at stake. Though I have taken measures like changing passwords and enhancing security with 2-step verification, I am unable to prevent the hacked account from receiving emails from my contacts or myself. While I have blocked the email address from which I do not wish to receive emails, I seek guidance on how to resolve this matter effectively.
Best regards,

I need help accessing my old Yahoo email account that I used as a child. I've forgotten the password and can't recover the account the usual way. It's frustrating not being able to recover it even with proof that it's mine. I'm hoping for any possible solution to regain access.

I'm having trouble accessing my Yahoo.com email. It's causing issues with everything I do online. Although it's a free service, they're asking me to pay for help. I can't access emails sent to '[redacted]'. This is frustrating, and it seems like others are experiencing the same problem. Should I escalate this to a higher authority to resolve it?

Yahoo recently ended the chat feature on their online articles, stating it was to prioritize creating a safe and engaging space for users. However, the real motive appears to be promoting a biased view in the news, leading to misinformation. Encouraging open dialogue is important for accuracy rather than pushing one-sided opinions as facts. By limiting discussion, platforms risk contributing to societal division, following the path of other social media giants.

I need assistance with my father's website hosted by Yahoo. After my father's passing earlier this year, I discovered that his website, www.classicsoncds.com owned by Martin A. Lewis, is no longer accessible. I aim to restore the site in his memory but lack administrator privileges. As his power of attorney, I am prepared to submit the required documentation to become the new account owner and cover any reinstatement fees. Your help in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,

I created an email 16 years ago in Saudi Arabia for job purposes. Last year, I moved from India to Saudi Arabia and used this email only for account opening. After that, I didn't use it until now. I received one salary in my account before leaving. I want to recover my email as I only know that email address. My phone number is blocked because I left the country. The bank is asking me to send an email from the same email address. Unfortunately, I forgot the password and the "forgot password" option is not working. How can I open my email account now?

I've been using a Yahoo email account for years now, [redacted] Due to recent changes in my AT&T wireless account, I am locked out of this email. It contains essential information such as prescription plans, tax data, customer issues, and purchase details - basically my digital life. AT&T informed me this morning that I need to wait 72 hours to have the account reset. I just need to reset the password to regain access to my email, so I can manage prescription deliveries, confirm appointments, and attend to client matters. I recently discovered that Yahoo manages this email, not AT&T. Could someone guide me on the steps to reset the password and access my att.net email account?

I recently acquired a new email address (ru2good2me@) and expected to receive emails from both this address and my existing one (childs6064@) in one mailbox. However, it seems that my new address has taken priority over the old one, causing me to miss out on emails sent to "childs6064." Both accounts share the same password, and I want to be able to access emails from both addresses when I check my mailbox. Additionally, I would appreciate assistance in retrieving any emails that were sent to my "childs6064" address during this time.

Hello,
I've been having trouble signing in to my email account and accessing the Yahoo webpage for the past few weeks. The pages load very slowly or don't load at all, without any error messages. It's essential for me to use my email to order my medications from the VA and to contact my lawyer. I'm using a 64-bit Windows 10 system. I rely on my email for daily communication, so I need to resolve this issue as soon as possible. If you require additional information, please let me know, as having access to my Yahoo mail and the Yahoo webpage is crucial for me.
Thank you for your assistance,
William Y.
