I took it literally, assuming I would never forget my password and did not see the necessity of providing my number. The instructions stated it was for password loss, making the process misleading.

J'ai perdu l'accès à un de mes comptes Yahoo car je ne peux pas récupérer le mot de passe via une ancienne adresse e-mail hotmail qui n'est plus active. Même après avoir supprimé cette adresse, elle reste la seule option de récupération. J'ai contacté des numéros payants sans succès et cela m'a coûté 68,47 euros que je ne peux pas me permettre. Lorsque j'essaie de réinitialiser le mot de passe, on m'envoie un code de vérification sur l'e-mail inaccessible. I received advice from Twitter Support to contact my email service provider for proper authentication on my Twitter account. Currently, I'm experiencing issues viewing my timeline and can only see a limited number of followers. When I log in, I am unable to click on followers to view their profiles, except after searching for them where I can only see their bio and mutual follow status, but not their tweets. This problem arose as I originally set up my Twitter account using a phone number linked to my Yahoo mail account. However, I recently altered the mobile settings on my Yahoo account unknowingly, resulting in this situation. Despite this, Twitter still recognizes my phone number but does not allow access to my account when I enter the password.

On Monday, June 7th, my email was compromised due to a fake Yahoo email asking for my account details which I unfortunately provided. That led to my account sending out unauthorized emails to contacts asking for help. The hacker's email was [redacted] I've since changed my password, but the incident caused confusion and trouble for many recipients and myself. I use both a Yahoo and an AT&T Yahoo email account. Normally, I can switch between them in the profile window by clicking on the Yahoo box. However, when I try to go back to the AT&T page, it prompts me to sign in with my ID and password each time. Even though "Yahoo Help" provides instructions to switch accounts without logging in each time, it doesn't seem to work for me when going from Yahoo to AT&T Yahoo. It's frustrating to have to log in to the AT&T Yahoo account every time I want to access it. I appreciate any help. Thank you. - R Evans
