Today, without realizing it, I added my birthday to my Twitter account, which I created when I was only 11 years old. At that time, I used it to share my daily activities and support my idols like Greyson Chance & Justin Bieber. Despite never breaking any rules or engaging in illegal activities, Twitter now enforces a policy requiring users to be at least 13 when the account was created. It feels unjust that after eight years of no issues, Twitter is now suspending my account. I'm seeking assistance in restoring my account as I feel it is unfair to penalize me for something that happened so long ago. Twitter has been my preferred social platform for years, and I have created a community of friends on my fan account with whom I share concert memories and updates. Losing access to this account would be heartbreaking. I'm hopeful for a resolution to this situation.

I am trying to regain access to my Twitter account after it was suspended due to a tweet that I now realize was inappropriate. I believed it was harmless, but it's clear that it crossed a line. I am eager to rectify the situation and have my account reinstated. However, the automated system banned me before I could remove the offending tweet. I am concerned about the content on Twitter. I wish to address this with the corporate management as Twitter is permitting pornographic content which is offensive. It is important to rectify this issue by discussing it with the headquarters. There is no justification for such explicit material on a social media platform like Twitter. Given that many children now have access to social media, it is crucial to prevent them from being exposed to inappropriate posts. This situation is unacceptable and would not be tolerated on other social media platforms. I am committed to seeing this matter resolved. Twitter must improve its content monitoring to avoid similar incidents in the future.

I have been experiencing issues with Twitter's password reset link. Despite multiple attempts to reset my password, the link keeps leading me to a message stating that my password has already been changed, which is not the case. I have exchanged 6 emails about this problem but have only received automated responses. The ticket numbers are [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted]. I am unable to access my account and need assistance. In one response, it was mentioned that the request was not sent from the email associated with my Twitter account, so I am resending my request from the correct email. There was also a mention of potential unauthorized access to my account through a mobile app, but I can confirm that I am not logged into any app on my phone. I keep receiving reset password links that do not work, repeatedly telling me that my password has already been reset. I am frustrated after a week of trying to address this issue with no resolution. I have the email access and receive the reset links, but a glitch seems to prevent me from changing the password. I am accessing Twitter from a computer and do not need additional password reset links sent. Thank you for addressing this matter.

I got locked out of my Twitter account after adjusting my birth year from [redacted] to [redacted]. I am 18 years old and eligible to use Twitter. I fear my account might be suspended, jeopardizing my messages with my significant other and connections with my idols, built over years. Despite researching and finding a potential solution by deleting pre-age-appropriate content, I cannot access my account to do so. I recently received a suspension on Twitter for confronting someone I deem to be harmful (@tomilahren). I believe in using strong language to wake people up, but I have never made threats or advocated violence. Many on Twitter promote hate and violence while silencing those who stand against it. I speak out for those in need and fight against those in power who perpetuate harm. Restoring my account and followers would help me continue this important work against destructive forces in our nation. Thank you for any help you can offer at GetHuman.

I created a Twitter account a while ago with my birthday month and day correct but made my birth year a year younger. Since I didn't use it much until now, I decided to update my birth year to my actual age of 18. I thought it wouldn't be an issue as Twitter allows users from 13 years old. However, as my birthdate is now over 13 years old, my account got locked immediately. I couldn't access my personal information or change my email. The Twitter Help site was not helpful as I couldn't follow the steps due to the account lock.

I encountered an issue trying to access my Twitter account via the Windows 10 app. It requested a verification code sent to my old phone number, which I no longer have access to. Unfortunately, Twitter doesn't provide alternative verification methods such as through email. Despite attempting to reset my password through the help pages, it still asks for the verification code which I can't receive. I reached out to Twitter by sending a ticket but haven't received a response yet. When I tried to submit another ticket, it stated the previous one was still active, and I needed to follow up. However, there seems to be no option to follow up on the ticket through their help pages or elsewhere. I even tried searching online for a solution without success. Now, weeks later, my account has been suspended. I attempted to appeal this through Twitter's support page, but the response indicated that I still needed to follow up on the previous ticket. It's frustrating as I feel like I'm going in circles with no assistance from Twitter.

My Twitter account got suspended for copyright strikes flagged by an automated bot. UMPG suggested contacting Twitter directly as they claim no control over accounts. Despite explaining that they need to ask Twitter to retract the strikes, they stick to their argument. In the past, a friend contacted Interscope Records to retract similar strikes. I've tried removing copyrighted material, but with a 5+ year old account, some content may have been missed. The person who helped me before isn't responding now. With previous strikes retracted, I hoped for reinstatement. UMG and Twitter keep directing me back and forth. My Twitter account is @WVLKINGWIRE.

Hi, I am experiencing difficulties with my account @beyourlight1999 since last Thursday, August 1st. I suspect it may have been locked or hacked. Upon trying to log in, I received a notification prompting me to confirm my phone number via Phone Call. However, I encountered issues as the "Call Me" button did not initiate any calls to my phone, preventing me from receiving the verification code via SMS/Text either. Despite ensuring my phone number is correct, I was unable to receive the SMS. Twitter informed me that my account is not linked to any email, highlighting the importance of verifying through my phone number. This situation is pressing as I engage in transactions on my account, and being unable to log in could mistakenly label me as a scammer. Twitter Support, I have submitted multiple requests through Twitter Support on both my computer and the iPhone app seeking assistance in accessing our company's Twitter page. Our company, Wisdom Environmental Inc, has the username Wisdomenviro associated with the email [redacted] and the old password Wisdom2016. For verification, my email is [redacted], the company owner is Mike Wright with the email [redacted], and the company phone is [redacted]. I am struggling to regain access to our page and am considering whether to start a new business page for Wisdom. The current process provided by Twitter Help for resetting a lost password is not helpful as it requires entering a username, which leads to sending a reset link to the phone or email associated. As these methods are not working, the only option left is to select "can't access either," leading to a loop of filling out login issue forms and receiving generic responses along with a Twitter Support case number. Hello, I'm not sure if there is anyone monitoring this, but I have already asked. I would like to speak with a real person about my account being permanently banned, as I believe it was unfair. It seems like there may be an automated system flagging the word 'c*nt'. In Scotland, this word actually means person. I have been banned multiple times for using it in a non-offensive way. For example, in Scotland, you can say "that person over there is a good person," meaning they are a nice individual. I am frustrated that my account is blocked due to using this word. Is there a way to reach out to someone about this issue?

I am currently locked out of my Twitter account. I was able to create a new password through my email, but the issue arises when Twitter asks for an SMS code that is being sent to my old phone number, which I no longer have access to as I now have a new phone number. This makes it impossible for me to retrieve the code needed to log in. My Twitter username is @WilleParnell and I have been using this account for at least 5 to 10 years. I have received 5 DMCA complaints this year for videos I posted on my fan account that fall under the fair use category. Despite reviewing the fair use policy, my account has been locked twice and I received a final warning today. It appears that accounts are targeted randomly, as other users who posted the same video did not face any issues. I am unsure how to communicate with Twitter and unsure of the next steps.

I deactivated my account a few times this morning on Twitter. Initially, I was prompted to verify if I was a real person, and after passing the robot test, I could deactivate again. When trying to log back in, I was requested to confirm my phone number, which I did successfully. However, after deactivating once more, upon trying to log in, I was again asked to verify my number but this time it failed. Currently, I am unable to access my account and receive a message to try again later. It has been over an hour since the issue started. Any assistance in regaining access to my account would be greatly appreciated. Using iPhone 7.
