Hello. I am reaching out about my friend Betteroffdead00 on Twitter, who has had a suspended account for several weeks now. We are trying to understand if the account is permanently banned or just temporarily suspended. Unfortunately, my friend has been feeling quite low and may have posted something that led to the suspension. Despite this, he received no notification at the time of the suspension. He values the content he has created over time and hopes to regain access to it. He assures that he will avoid making any similar comments in the future. I believe a temporary suspension would be a fair consequence, allowing him to return to the platform he uses regularly. He is truly remorseful for his earlier comment. It troubles me that his account may have been permanently banned over what we perceive as a minor issue, especially when there are more severe violations present on the platform. In December [redacted], I updated my birth year on Twitter to reflect my actual age. Having created my account before age 13, my account got locked. After providing identification proof showing I am now 21, Twitter informed me they needed to delete posts from when I was under 13 before unlocking my account. It's now April [redacted], and I haven't received any follow-up email about unlocking my account or any progress. I joined Twitter in [redacted] and value the connections and posts on my account. I had my mom help me create a Twitter account a few years ago for a class. I never changed the birth year she input, which was to get bonus points. Recently, I updated my birth year since my birthday passed, but mistakenly got locked out when I changed it to [redacted]. I use Twitter for my college job, and it’s essential for my work. Hello! I am having trouble viewing sensitive content on Twitter mobile. Even though I've adjusted my settings to view such content, the option to always display it doesn't seem to be working. Despite checking the box under "privacy," I continue to receive a message stating that the media contains content I've chosen not to see. This issue persists across logins, logouts, and refreshes, and I've also attempted to change the setting on the desktop site to no avail. I have been waiting for over a month for Twitter to unlock my account, @agumon949. They required my parents' consent and requested private information like my mum's details, bank statement, birth certificate, and driver's license, which seems excessive for unlocking an account. We provided the information, but my account still shows as locked when I try to log in. The message on the form page said they would update on the progress, but I haven't heard back in a month. I rely on this account to connect with people and it's crucial to me. I really need Twitter to unlock my account promptly and ensure everything is intact.

I had a disagreement on Twitter where I responded with strong language to false accusations of xenophobia and racism. I identify as transgender and mixed race, and I felt unfairly labeled. In hindsight, I realize I should have responded more calmly and thoughtfully, especially since I usually handle trolls better. Around 1 pm London time, my account was permanently suspended on Twitter for "hateful conduct." The incident stemmed from a joke I made about Chris Brown and Beyonce, leading to a wave of harassment from Beyonce fans who mass reported my tweets. As a Black man, I often use the N-word as a term of endearment, which was previously recognized by Twitter when I deleted a flagged tweet containing it. However, realizing my extensive history of such casual language in old tweets, Twitter suspended my account today for the same reason of hateful conduct. I have a screenshot of one of the reported tweets where I was simply complimenting a friend's picture. I am concerned about the firm stance Twitter takes on suspensions and worry I won't be given a fair chance to explain. I have never maliciously attacked anyone, especially not from a group I belong to. I fear losing my account, which is vital for my events and income, due to bullies' targeting over a harmless joke. I hope to find a solution or speak to a representative, though I am unsure if that's possible given Twitter's approach.

My account got locked for adding my birthdate to my bio, which is April 24th, [redacted]. I created the account when I was under 13, with my mother's knowledge, who also monitored it from her phone. I use it to connect with coaches and others related to being on the USA national rugby team. Although now it's more of a personal blog, I still have coaches, friends, and family following. I provided the necessary information, including my mother's, along with a signed form and driver's license, but I haven't heard back or had my account restored. While reviewing Twitter's rules, I noticed a possible reason for the suspension. The blog's president, Joe Scotch, had been suspended a few weeks back, and his appeal was denied. Although Joe had briefly accessed my account over a year ago to link it to the blog's website, he no longer uses it. I am the sole operator of the account and have diligently managed it since [redacted]. Given my financial struggle as a college student, this account is crucial for my business ventures. I suspect that Twitter linked Joe's IP address to my account, assuming he was evading suspension. My Twitter account was locked because I initially set it up when I was under thirteen. To circumvent this, I altered my birth year, but now that I am over thirteen, I attempted to correct this by changing it back. However, this led to my account being locked. Despite selecting the option to notify Twitter of my correct age, my account has remained locked since the start of March. I received an email on Tuesday stating that my account (@lilpochaco) has been suspended due to alleged "hateful conduct" targeting various groups. The tweet in question was actually me defending a friend who was being bullied, not promoting hate speech. I have appealed the suspension, contacted Twitter directly, but have not received a response in three days. It is clearly impossible for a five-day-old to create a Twitter account. I am currently in the process of deleting all my social media accounts on various platforms, not just Twitter. However, I have encountered an issue with deleting my Twitter account. It was deactivated previously because I created it when I was under 13 years old. Even though my account still seems to exist, I am unable to access it. Hello, my account got locked because when I was younger, I set my birthdate on Twitter to when I was under 13 years old. I chose the reason that my mom authorized me at that time. Now I am 20 years old, but Twitter asked for my mother's email. I provided it, and they sent a form for my mom to fill out and requested a picture of her ID. My mom is currently out of the country.
