Rajesh Kumar requested my citizenship ID, passport-size photo, bank account details, and I provided them. However, when asked to pay Rs.40,[redacted] for money transfer charges from India to Nepal, I grew suspicious and stopped communicating with them. I am concerned about the safety of my personal information and urge relevant authorities to take action against these fraudulent individuals. Three days ago, I encountered issues with my account being hacked, leading me to inadvertently block and report a user while attempting to just block them. Upon uninstalling the app for a reinstallation to retrieve my chats, I mistakenly downloaded the wrong app. This caused me to lose access until I blocked some numbers that had sent me codes I didn’t input. After reinstalling and using my recovery email to log in, I had to change my password. Unfortunately, I have been unsuccessful in restoring my previous chats despite multiple uninstallations and reinstalls, leading to being banned and then re-banned from WhatsApp. I am currently facing a 36-hour ban, with approximately 24 hours remaining.
