Dear Sir/Madam,
I have noticed a peculiar issue with my contacts on WhatsApp. Instead of showing them as 'online' when they are actively online, it displays 'Last seen today at...' with the current time, and then reverts to 'Last seen yesterday at...' once they go offline. This happens consistently each time they go online or offline.
Despite ensuring we are in the same time zone and updating my date/time settings, the problem persists. I find this inconsistency confusing and would appreciate any insights into why this might be occurring.
Thank you to those who suggested re-installing WhatsApp; however, it did not resolve the issue. I have also reported this problem through the app.
Additionally, this issue now affects the majority of my contacts, including those who usually hide their online status.

I recently bought a Vivo V9 phone and have been experiencing an issue on WhatsApp with group chats. When someone replies by selecting a message with the left arrow button, the original message disappears after a few seconds. For instance, if someone asks "what are you doing" and another person replies by selecting that text, the original message vanishes in my chat. This makes it hard to track conversations. I'm unsure why this is happening. Can you please address and fix this problem? It's causing me a lot of inconvenience.

I have a WhatsApp account that I rarely use, switching from iPhone to Samsung Galaxy. Currently, my parents are on a cruise with WhatsApp being our only means of communication due to their global data plan. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5. My Android system is up to date, and I recently updated my Whatsapp app from the Play Store. Whenever I attempt to make a voice call on Whatsapp, the call gets disconnected, and a "reconnecting" message appears. This issue only happens on my phone and not on similar devices. I am facing an issue with my WhatsApp account. My current number, [redacted], belonged to Aircel which has now shut down its services. Due to this, I cannot make calls using this number. Hello,
I updated my cellphone number back in March [redacted], which also changed my WhatsApp account. However, since then, I haven't used the old number or the old account. Surprisingly, on July 23, [redacted], the old account appeared to have left a group chat, even though I never logged into it. This has caused me a lot of distress as my husband now doubts me. Other group members also confirm that I left the chat on that date, as seen in the attached screenshots. Can you please check the last login activity for the number +63-[redacted]? Hello,
I am a Vodacom customer in South Africa. The South African regulations state that Internet of Things (IoT) services require a 14-digit SIM card, while telephony services should have a 10-digit number.
Some of our tariffs, like the Data Messenger Light, fall under IoT services where customers primarily use WhatsApp. However, when we switch from a 10-digit to a 14-digit MSISDN, WhatsApp stops working. Even after trying to reinstall the app with a 14-digit number, an error message appears saying, "The phone number you entered is too long for the country: South Africa."
I want to share the official documents from ICASA and request that the number ranges for South Africa be included on your platform as valid South African numbers.
Could you please guide me on who to contact regarding this matter?

I believe my WhatsApp account was hacked, resulting in unauthorized activity and subsequent account lock by the support team. The affected account is connected to +97[redacted]. Yesterday, I was contacted by someone claiming to be from the phone company, inquiring about issues with my phone line and requesting my birthday. I am currently living in Belgium for the next 3 months, and my US number is temporarily suspended. I used my WhatsApp regularly to stay in touch with my family and friends back in the US. Unfortunately, I lost my phone and had to replace it with a new iPhone in Belgium.
