My iPhone 5s was stolen recently, so I temporarily switched to an iPhone 5 with an old WhatsApp version to keep my conversations until I got a new phone. Luckily, I now have an iPhone 6s and downloaded WhatsApp. When I input my new number and click "restore chat," it's showing me outdated conversations from the iPhone 5s instead of the ones I want from the iPhone 5. How can I get the correct conversations onto my new phone?

I am currently facing an issue with my WhatsApp account. My number was banned on New Year's Eve, and it has not been restored yet. I do not understand why this happened or what steps I need to take to lift the ban. Despite reaching out through the phone messenger and your website multiple times, I have not received any responses. The support page on your website seems to be malfunctioning as each time I submit a request, it is automatically marked as solved and closed. It has been 7 days since this problem started. A similar issue occurred in September [redacted], and it was resolved in 2 days once my number was removed from the "non mobile" list on your server. I am concerned about when my connection will be restored and if there are any actions I need to take on my end. I am frustrated by the lack of communication and delay in addressing this matter. I have tried various methods to resolve the problem but have been unsuccessful. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide.

A friend's WhatsApp account was hacked, and I was asked for money by the hacker pretending to be my friend. My other friend also encountered this. After receiving a verification code via SMS and a WhatsApp message asking for it, I didn't share the code. Concerned about the hacker having ongoing access to my friend's WhatsApp, as they tried to scam us, they use two numbers: [redacted] and [redacted] [redacted]. Any advice on how to ensure the hacker doesn't continue causing harm would be appreciated.

I have a Micromax Mobile Canvas 2 A110. I used to be able to upload a profile picture, but now I'm having trouble doing so. When I go to Menu > Settings > Profile > Media Manager, I select the picture I want to upload. Then when I tap on it, I see six options: 1. Scale, 2. As Background, 3. Start Slideshow, 4. Choose Title, 5. Show on Map, 6. Details, as well as the Sharing, Tag, and Delete icons. However, I can't find the option to upload a status picture. Can someone please help me with this issue? Hello, I'm George. I'm feeling a bit anxious. I want to know if after the 21-hour ban is lifted, will I receive a call or encounter a "Attempted too many times" message. Last time, changing my phone number was the only solution after a ban. It's urgent for me as I rely on WhatsApp for therapy sessions coordination. I'm unsure if it will work after the ban is lifted. My SMS is working but SMS verification on WhatsApp has failed after reinstalling the app too many times. I have OCD, so ensuring everything is normal is important to me. Could you please send me a verification code to my phone at [redacted]? I need WhatsApp back as I have a session later today.

I need your help. I am trying to verify my number (+1 [redacted]) on WhatsApp. After receiving a verification code through voicemail and entering it, I received a message stating that WhatsApp is temporarily unavailable. Please assist me in verifying my number with the code you send, as I am unsure what is causing the issue. I do not want to retry calling for a code only to encounter the same error message. I'm having trouble finding reliable sources to transfer WhatsApp data from my iPhone to a Mac computer. Previously, Google Drive was suggested for this, but it no longer works for iPhone/Mac users. WhatsApp advises emailing the files, which also doesn't seem to work. Can anyone recommend third-party apps to smoothly transfer WhatsApp data to a Mac for storage? I specifically want to save audio files as mp3s. Thank you for your help!

After changing my number successfully on WhatsApp, I noticed that my new number was not updated in my group chats. When trying to participate in group conversations, I received an error message stating, "You are no longer a participant of this group." I expected to be automatically notified in the groups about my number change but this did not happen. Additionally, my old number was not deleted as expected after using the change number feature. I would appreciate assistance with resolving this issue.

I am experiencing difficulty receiving a verification code from WhatsApp via SMS or phone call on my active Voxox number. This number has been in use since September [redacted], and I urgently need to retrieve important work-related WhatsApp conversations. Despite reinstalling WhatsApp, backing up data, and following initial troubleshooting steps from WhatsApp support, I cannot receive the verification code via SMS, and the phone call with the code was missed. I need to install WhatsApp on my Windows phone. My wife has an Xperia phone with WhatsApp installed, and she uses her own phone number. When we tried to install WhatsApp on my Windows phone, all her contacts from her phone transferred over, which I don't want. At one point, my wife had WhatsApp on a Nokia phone using my phone number. Is there a way for me to have WhatsApp on my Windows phone with my number, while my wife keeps her WhatsApp contacts on her phone with her number?

Someone has been sharing my private photos on Whatsapp without my permission. What actions can the Whatsapp team take to prevent this, such as banning the user completely from using Whatsapp? I am not only looking to block the user, I want the Whatsapp team to delete or ban the user's account to protect my privacy rights. If a ban is not possible, please delete the user's Whatsapp account or remove my photos from their account. Please respond promptly at [redacted], and I can provide the necessary Whatsapp details. I am extremely frustrated with your application. I have been using it for many years, but I am considering deleting it due to the lack of proper customer service responses. Despite being an English speaker, I have only received replies in French. My primary issue is that WhatsApp started sending messages to contacts without my knowledge, leading me to reset my phone and lose all my previous conversations. I urgently require assistance in English to understand and resolve this situation.

During the restoration process for my WhatsApp chats, an error occurred halfway through the Google Drive backup. Despite selecting to restore from an older backup, the process got stuck at [redacted]% and displayed an error message, resulting in the loss of my chats. I acknowledge that you do not have access to my chat data. However, I seek guidance on alternative methods to restore my chats, such as manually through a computer. I have attempted various solutions like renaming the backup files, creating duplicate backups, and relying solely on local backups, but each time WhatsApp proceeds without an option to restore again. Any assistance you can provide would be valued.

Hello, I would like to express my gratitude for creating such a great app. I am currently facing a verification issue as my SIM card is blocked. I understand that deleting WhatsApp might cause me to lose access to my account due to my blocked SIM. After watching a YouTube video about 2-step verification, I enabled it before deleting WhatsApp or resetting my phone. The video mentioned that when entering the phone number to activate the account, it should prompt for a PIN code or email ID. However, I did not receive that prompt, and instead, a verification PIN was sent to my blocked SIM. Unfortunately, I am unable to retrieve this PIN. I learned that if I delete WhatsApp, I won't be able to recover my account since my SIM card is blocked. I watched a video on YouTube explaining the 2-step verification process. I had set up 2-step verification before deleting WhatsApp or resetting my phone. Due to a 4-month hiatus in using WhatsApp caused by exam preparation and subsequent phone damage, there are concerns about potential account deletion or recycling due to inactivity. WhatsApp may flag inactive accounts after 30 days for potential recycling if logged back in from a different device. To avoid deletion of important data and group chats, and despite the extended break, the hope is to resume WhatsApp usage on a new phone without account recycling. The individual has a significant chat backup on Google Drive and is curious if these chats can be recovered in case of deletion (specifically recycling) and if there is a way to prevent the account from being recycled or deleted.

To whom it may concern, I recently encountered an issue with my Whatsapp account that has left me concerned about the security of my data. Upon changing my phone number due to leaving a company, I transferred my Whatsapp account to the new number. However, I have been informed by a colleague that my previous company has managed to retrieve a backup of my Whatsapp chats from Google Drive. It has come to my attention that they will potentially access this data once they reactivate my old number. The breach of privacy is troubling as I, along with many others, rely on Whatsapp with the belief that our data is secure. It seems that changing phone numbers may render us vulnerable to such breaches, allowing personal information to be misused. I need assistance, as I recently received a ban and lost access to all my account messages without warning. I feel completely shocked by this situation as I have not engaged in any illegal activity. I had a missed call on WhatsApp, and upon trying to log back in, I was suddenly signed out because it appeared that I was logged in elsewhere, even though I was at home caring for my sick parents. After changing my settings from the UK to Dubai due to my dual sim phone, I was then unexpectedly banned. I have sent five emails to support but have not received any responses. I am deeply upset as I've lost all my messages and cannot understand why this ban has occurred. It seems that someone may have attempted to hack into my account. I am located in the UK currently, looking after my ill parents, and now unable to use WhatsApp as it is registered to my Dubai number. I am seeking clarification and assistance to resolve this issue promptly.
