I am Jose Lajara, and I am experiencing issues with my WU account. It appears to have been blocked for over three months. The code displayed on the WU screen is R7008. Despite reaching out to WU multiple times with the provided code and my personal information, I have not received a response. I have been sending money to the Philippines to support my girlfriend and her daughter, as I purchased a house there with the hope of spending a significant amount of time there in the future. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, my plans have been disrupted. Additionally, I have been making smaller payments to Ghana to assist a few impoverished families, including relocating one family to a better home. I haven't used their platform in a long time, and I'm not sure why this happened. I went to the Office at Mercurio Shopping Center in Soacha, Cundinamarca, Bogota, to withdraw a transfer sent from Santiago, Chile, and was informed that my account had been blocked. Just to note, I have been a user on the Western Union Chile app for 2 years, and everything has been normal there.

I would like to cancel my Western Union transfer account due to ongoing issues. I have been facing difficulties using my debit card, even after receiving a replacement from my bank. I recently tried to send money to my friend in China through Western Union and found out that I am blocked from doing so. While I understand the need for security measures, I assure you this is a genuine transaction.
I have a close relationship with a Chinese family I met in Columbus, Ohio back in [redacted]. We have shared many experiences, including being present at the birth of their child at a hospital. I've been trying to send money to a friend in Ivory Coast who's struggling due to COVID-19 affecting her job. I attempted to send two months' rent through MoneyGram, but it failed twice. I then tried to send $[redacted] to Marie, her grandmother, via Western Union, and that was denied as well. I'm unsure why this is happening. I'm wondering if I've sent them money too frequently or if the amount is the issue. Could the problem be on their end? I have been a loyal customer of WE for many years. I typically send money to my relatives to support their financial needs. On February 25, [redacted], I sent $[redacted] to my son-in-law in Idaho. After completing the transaction, the cashier advised me to contact the head office for verification purposes. I complied and spoke to an interviewer who asked me to confirm names and amounts I had sent over the years, which I did to the best of my ability. The interviewer also inquired about my profession and monthly income, to which I provided the necessary information. Unfortunately, I was informed that my WU account had been permanently blocked due to not being able to provide all the details of my past transactions. I purchased a Western Union money order in early December to pay my rent. However, towards the end of December, my landlord informed me that they never received it. I promptly contacted Western Union over a month and a half ago to request a refund for the money order and requested an immediate stop on payment before it could be cashed. Unfortunately, I have not heard back from Western Union regarding my refund, and no holds have been placed on the money order. I am still waiting for my refund.
