I have been on hold for 3 hours now. I need to change our flight from the Dominican Republic to Toronto on Friday, December 17, Flight [redacted] departing at 3:25 pm. I have been on hold for over 3 hours to resolve issues with my taxes, seat selection payment, and the points used for a canceled flight to Cancun. Julia was unhelpful, and I am frustrated that my trip points and costs have not been refunded. I will contact Mastercard for reimbursement since the service was not provided. Despite contacting Airmiles, I feel bounced around and need a resolution as these points are valuable savings to me. I have not received any communication from you since my trip was canceled, adding to my frustration. I urgently need answers regarding this situation, as it has caused great inconvenience, especially after bringing my daughter back home following the challenges of Covid-19.

I encountered an issue with My Flight Search regarding a refund, not with WestJet. While there have been no problems with bookings or tickets through My Flight Search, I am awaiting a refund for the cancelled tickets. I received a message confirming the cancellation of booking number FSON108755 with no cancellation fee and a refund request for $[redacted].00 to be returned to my original payment method. Despite being informed that the refund might take one to two billing cycles, after almost three months, I contacted them and was told to wait for another billing cycle. Another month has passed, and the refund has not been received. Additionally, I traveled on a WestJet flight to Kelowna, B.C. with tickets that were not purchased by me.

I received an email from WestJet about a refund, and they approved it, instructing me to call 1-[redacted] to process the refund. I have been attempting to contact them for over a week with no success. They are requesting card information, which is frustrating. We have been loyal WestJet customers for years and used to receive prompt assistance over the phone. The current situation is challenging, especially for elderly individuals not familiar with online processes. Assistance would be greatly appreciated. - Bev Gray

Last night, I waited for 2 1/2 hours to speak with an agent. While rebooking a flight that WestJet canceled halfway through, the call was put on hold by the agent and then dropped. We are currently out of the country, and the only number that works is the Calgary number, [redacted]-[redacted]. This situation is very frustrating. Customer service seems non-existent these days, and I imagine the WestJet agents are also frustrated. None of the toll-free numbers are working for us as we are outside of Canada.

We have a flight booked to Huatulco from January 18th to the 29th under Booking [redacted], PNR QFIJOU, for Roger and Bonit Marchand. We have several concerns regarding what happens if we contract COVID-19 there and are unable to return. Does WestJet have a plan in place, or are we responsible for making our own arrangements? Additionally, we are uncertain if our insurance through WestJet provides coverage for medical expenses, accommodations, or extended parking in YYC in such a scenario. I also seek clarification on the deadline and process for canceling due to COVID-19 as well as information on potential refunds. It's worth noting that our group of 6 encountered significant difficulties when our return date was changed by WestJet from the 28th to the 29th, resulting in a collectively frustrating 30+ hours spent on hold. An email with this information for sharing would be appreciated. Thank you. - Roger Marchand.

I am looking for guidance on what is required to board an international flight from Calgary, Alberta, to Charlotte, North Carolina. My concern is that I am due for my second vaccination on December 23. I am unsure if I can board the flight without a PCR code. Is there a way to expedite the PCR code process or would proof of my vaccination appointment be sufficient? Do I also need an antigen test to board the flight? I seek clarity on the necessary requirements to make this trip because I have a family member who is unwell and I cannot prolong my stay due to limited resources.

My flight scheduled for December 23 was canceled, and I was rebooked for more than 2 hours later. The new flight is set for tomorrow. According to WestJet's policy, they should have ensured I was on any available flight to my destination if the delay exceeded 3 hours, even on another airline. Unfortunately, I had to rebook independently due to the urgent situation. I now need to inform them that I won't be able to make the rebooked flight tomorrow, and I need to arrange my return flight and initiate the claim process.

My bag did not arrive in Los Angeles on Dec. 26. The flight originated in Calgary (WS115) and I had to rush to catch my connecting flight to Los Angeles in Vancouver after a delay. I waited for my bag to be transferred at the airport and filled out a claim form in Los Angeles. I believe my bag may have gone to Palm Springs or Maui instead. It is a small darker green bag with red and light green wool on the handle. I spoke with Tony at the LA airport. Please help me locate my bag as it contains a white wool sweater of high sentimental value. Thank you, Barb Newman.

My flight from the US to Canada was delayed by a day, causing an issue with my PCR COVID test results. I just received the test results today, but by the rescheduled flight tomorrow, they will be expired as they are over 72 hours old. The results took over 24 hours to come back, so I may not have new test results in time for tomorrow's flight. What should I do to ensure I can board the rescheduled flight?

I am encountering an issue with WestJet regarding boarding for a Venezuelan citizen with an expired passport. Despite the acknowledgment by the governing bodies of both the country of operation and the destination country recognizing the 5-year extension for Venezuelan passports due to the current situation in Venezuela, WestJet is still refusing boarding. The compassionate decision by multiple governments to accommodate such cases should be respected. I urge WestJet to adhere to this understanding and allow my partner, who is entitled to travel based on our government's guidelines and the ticket purchased, to board the flight. I need to make changes to my WestJet flights from Halifax to Calgary. Currently booked on Dec 31 on WS275 at 19:45 to Toronto then WS679 to Calgary, but I want to switch to the direct flight at 19:05 on the same day. I have a pet traveling in the cabin with me. During my previous WestJet trip on Dec 20, we missed our connecting flight in Toronto to Halifax due to staff shortages causing delays. Despite booking premium seats, we were put on a later flight with a significantly longer layover. Additionally, we were seated at the back of the plane, despite having paid for premium seats.

Hello, I need some assistance. During my visit to the physician on December 23, [redacted], I was informed that I cannot fly due to an inguinal hernia, and I am currently waiting for an operation. I can provide an email copy of this information if needed. I kindly request the cancellation and refund of my flight scheduled for January 21, [redacted], under the confirmation number BMAFAX. I experienced significant flight delays on Friday, Dec. 24th, trying to travel from Kelowna to Calgary and then to Regina. Unfortunately, the delay caused me to miss my connecting flight in Calgary. After speaking to a WestJet representative, I was unable to secure a new flight for over 24 hours. Consequently, I had to make alternate travel arrangements with another airline to reach Regina on the same day. Additionally, WestJet misplaced my luggage. They initially mentioned delivering it to my accommodation once located, but on Sunday, Dec. 26th, they informed me that my luggage had been found, and I was required to pick it up in Regina, despite being in Weyburn.

On November 24th, I booked a flight through Expedia. However, on December 23rd, my doctor advised me not to fly due to a hernia, and I am currently on the waitlist for an operation. Since my flight scheduled for January 21st is no longer needed and cannot be changed due to the circumstances, I am reaching out for assistance. I hope that Expedia can be understanding and show empathy in handling my situation. I acknowledge your busy schedule but kindly request help. I would be grateful for any possible resolution, even if it means a partial refund equivalent to 3/5 of my flight cost. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I am currently attempting to reschedule my flight that was initially booked through Expedia last February. WestJet canceled the flight due to a lockdown situation. Expedia directed me to Hotwire, who mentioned that WestJet is now managing the flights. The deadline to reschedule is tomorrow, December 31st, and despite spending hours on hold on the phone throughout the week, I have yet to find a resolution. A callback is scheduled for Monday, January 3rd, which is beyond the timeframe I require. This situation has been causing me a great deal of stress. I am hoping for assistance from NetJets in the UK to contact me promptly and assist with rebooking my flight.

I made a flight booking for my two children and myself (WS001) in October [redacted] before Covid-19 emerged. Our scheduled flight on 18th March [redacted] couldn't take place due to the pandemic restrictions. I have $[redacted] credit with CheapOair, but I am struggling with getting a suitable extension for our booking, which has been rolled over but is still inconvenient for us. I am seeking an extension until 3/24/22 as I cannot travel within the current period. I have a long history of flying with WestJet and wish to continue. I'm not in a position to forfeit $[redacted]. My kids are now in university, I work in the school system, and our flying opportunities are scarce. I plan to fly no later than the end of [redacted] and wish to change the ticket holders from my kids to my partner and myself, reducing the seats from three to two.

Booking Adjustment Request for Paul Borg/Lori Strathdee We flew from Toronto YYZ to LIR on Dec 8th, [redacted], and are currently in Costa Rica. We wish to change our return flight to YYZ to Jan 15th, [redacted], instead of Jan 12th, [redacted], as originally booked. One of the flights was paid with WestJet dollars from a previously cancelled flight due to Covid, which prevents me from making the change online. I need to connect with a live agent to assist with this schedule adjustment. After being on hold for 2 hours and 18 minutes, I was disconnected. I urgently need assistance with this matter. Please reach out to me at [redacted] or my wife Lori Strathdee at [redacted] at your earliest convenience. Thank you, Paul Borg

My flight with the number LZBMBJ from YYG to YYZ was canceled due to a snowstorm. A WestJet agent offered to reschedule for Monday, January 10, but it doesn't work for me since I have a funeral to attend. Instead of a refund, they transferred my payment to a travel bank. I also have a return flight on January 10 that needs to be canceled, but the call got disconnected when I requested it. I have been trying to reach WestJet since yesterday but all I get is long wait times. It's frustrating that my Monday flight is still scheduled when I can't even make the first leg. I waited on hold for 4 hours yesterday without a call back. I need a prompt call back and a quick resolution to my issue.
