I have been a long-time customer at Wendy's and due to COVID-19, we have mainly been using the drive-thru. Yesterday, we went inside the Wendy’s on Buffalo Rd in Erie, Harborcreek area around 5:00 PM, July 25, and had a disappointing experience. The chicken BLT was overcooked, the bun was hard and stale, which upset my stomach for the evening. The table was also not clean, with beverage stains and crumbs from previous customers. Many other tables were also in the same state, showing a lack of proper cleaning and sanitation during these times. This visit left me feeling disappointed in Wendy’s as the food and service did not meet the standards we have come to expect. I hope they can improve their cleanliness and service for the safety of all customers during this pandemic. J.B.

Subject: Feedback regarding Order at Store #[redacted] in Clear Lake, IA Time: 5:22 p.m. on September 3, [redacted] Order Type: Pick Up Window I visited the store with four other ladies and placed separate orders as requested. However, upon receiving my order, I noticed I was missing a Diet Coke. I mentioned this to the staff and was informed that I received all items I had ordered. After returning home, I reviewed my receipts and confirmed I was indeed short one drink. I tried calling the store multiple times within the evening but was unable to get through. Subsequently, I attempted to raise my concern through Wendy's Customer Care site but encountered technical issues with the submission form. My main grievances are: 1. The oversight of missing an item from my order and the dismissive response from the staff member. 2. Another lady in my group did not receive the drink she had paid for, which is disappointing given our limited budget. I would appreciate it if appropriate measures could be taken to rectify the customer service issues we encountered and ensure missing items are compensated for promptly. For further communication, you can reach me via email. Best regards, Lee Paul | PSP/MM

I used to work at the Wendy's in Mt. Washington, Ohio. I tried to contact GM Terry before payday on 09/01/[redacted] to update my direct deposit information as I couldn't access that account. She only responded on payday after my check was already deposited. She said she would check with the payroll office but didn't get back to me until the next day, instructing me to fill out a new direct deposit form, which I did twice. After not hearing back from Terry about when to expect my check, I reached out again but received no reply. This is why I left - their closing manager is rude to customers and staff, creating a difficult work environment. Despite my experience as a restaurant manager, I couldn't continue working under such management.

Hello. We ordered two Pretzel Bacon Pub Meals and a Grilled Bacon Jalapeno Chicken Sandwich. I requested no pickles on one burger and no onions or fries on the other. Unfortunately, both burgers had pickles and onions. The chicken sandwich only had chicken and lettuce, but I was still charged for the bacon jalapeno. We were really looking forward to our meal, and it's disappointing that it wasn't prepared correctly. I had a feeling something might go wrong because the cashier wasn't repeating back the order accurately. We live a few miles away, so returning wasn't convenient after a long day at work. I attempted to call the store at store #[redacted], but no one answered. This happened today, 9-6-[redacted], at 3:44 pm. Normally, we don't have problems, and I understand it can get busy, but this time, our order wasn't what we expected. Thank you, Cindy.

On September 13, [redacted], I visited Wendy's in Savannah, Texas, store number [redacted]9. Arriving at 9:13 am, I was the only customer in the drive-through. I ordered a number 5 with a medium coke and inquired about adding a plain biscuit, which led to issues. The employee, Gabby, quoted the biscuit at $3.49, which seemed steep. At the window, Gabby, with blue hair, wearing a mask, seemed confused, asking repetitive questions. I received an incorrect order of a chicken biscuit with bacon and fries. Upon calling the restaurant, chaos ensued. The shift manager revealed a lack of management, leading to many issues. I hope for a resolution to my order mishap as I am considering not returning to Wendy's due to this experience. Though I will miss the frostys, the service needs improvement.

I seem to have misplaced numerous items, such as my coffee pot, towel rack, camping gear, CD, Top Gun jacket, work badge, cowgirl hat, boots, and wedding dress that I had ordered. I believe these items were part of my inheritance box, which also contained show cards. I value my independence and don't want anyone forcing things upon me. I prefer to live authentically and on my terms. Some items seem to have disappeared, even my car, and there seems to be confusion regarding store ownership. I'm Wendy, and I want to remove anything that doesn't align with my desires. I stay true to my beliefs and values, and I don't wish to be associated with troubling situations.

I waited in the drive-thru for 8 minutes before my order was taken. I paid at 2:48. There was one car in front of me at the pick-up window. After waiting for 10 minutes, I called the store to inquire about the delay. A woman informed me they had a $50 order and lacked enough staff to fill it quickly. Finally, after another five minutes, I received the drinks with a curt "Here you are." There were no apologies or smiles. The window closed, and I waited an additional 2 minutes for my food. I expressed that handling a $50 order inefficiently wasn't wise; the person should have been asked to wait or come inside. The response was flippant, suggesting I should have come inside. This incident makes me question the quality of their training. I doubt I will return, and judging by the long line, I may not be the only one. Does corporate even care about these issues?

As a long-time patron of the Wendy’s restaurants in Hays, Kansas, specifically the one located at [redacted] N. Vine, I want to share some feedback. Lately, I've noticed that my orders have been slightly off and the burgers have not been as hot as they used to be. On one occasion, my burger even seemed undercooked with a pinkish tinge. I have not addressed this issue directly with the restaurant because the dining area is closed, and I prefer to eat elsewhere. Since the pandemic, I have usually had no issues with my orders. I am considering giving them one more chance, and if the situation does not improve, I may have to stop frequenting this location. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - Edwin S.

I recently visited the Wendy's located at [redacted] North Marine Boulevard in Jacksonville, North Carolina ([redacted]). I am 64 years old and ordered a kid's meal with a hamburger with lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. Unfortunately, the food was not fresh, the hamburger was dry, and the french fries were dried out. It took them 20 minutes to correct my order. When they brought me a drink, I felt they should have waited until my food was ready. A manager later brought me another drink and I declined to speak with her, feeling dissatisfied with how the situation was handled. Other customers also seemed unhappy due to a sewage smell outside. I hope this feedback reaches the corporate office. Thank you. Mrs. J.

On October 12, [redacted], I visited the Wendy's at Tanger Mall in Gonzales La. I spent $31 on food, including two baconator meals with a large upgrade priced at a little over $10 each, and a chicken nugget meal with a large upgrade. Unfortunately, when I opened my burger, I found that the bacon on both sandwiches was black and hard. Although I initially just removed the bacon, the more I thought about it, the more frustrated I became. I couldn't eat what I paid for. Due to an appointment, I couldn't return to the restaurant, and my attempts to call them went unanswered. I feel that I paid too much to not enjoy my meal, especially with the poor quality bacon. I have a photo of the issue and am requesting a refund.

We arrived around 3:55 PM, and there was another car ahead of us. After waiting about 5 minutes, it was our turn to order. The lady on the speaker mentioned a shift change and said they would assist us shortly. However, after timing it, we waited for 14 minutes with five cars behind us. When we reached the first window, the lady took the payment and gave us the food at the next window without much interaction or politeness. This slow and unwelcoming service seems to be a recurring issue at this location, where the employees appear lazy, the place is not well-maintained, and the overall attitude is lacking in friendliness. Despite the negative experiences, I find myself returning to this location, and I'm unsure why.

This morning at 9:43 am, I contacted Wendy's corporate office to report an issue at the East Cleveland location where employees were not wearing their masks properly. Subsequently, I was contacted by the manager of that Wendy's location who questioned if I had reported them to corporate. I expressed concern over the call potentially being intimidating. The manager explained she wanted to address the employees in question directly. I found this follow-up call to be unprofessional and invasive as my phone number was used to contact me without permission. I firmly believe Wendy's should take responsibility if any of my personal information or family members are affected by this situation. Thank you.

I visited Wendy's on Banister off Blue Ridge around 11 a.m. to get lunch for myself and my granddaughters. We ordered three number 1 meals. After getting home, which is less than 5 minutes away, we started eating in a hurry as I needed to return to work. We realized the burgers were undercooked with raw insides. Despite consuming some, it made me and my granddaughters sick, leading to stomach troubles. I attempted to contact the store for a refund but received no answer. There were multiple employees present when I was there, although they lacked cup holders for my three drinks. The experience seems to have caused food poisoning. I hope to address this situation promptly to resolve the issue and secure a refund for the unsatisfactory meal.

I used the Wind app to order and pay for my food, but unfortunately, when my wife went to pick it up, they claimed the app didn't work and didn't provide the food. I'm left with no food and they have taken my money, which is completely unacceptable. I am disappointed by the lack of service and rude customer service at the store on East Livingston Avenue in Columbus, Ohio.

I recently visited Wendy's in Bowling Green, KY, last night. I ordered 3 key tags for Frosty's along with other items. The cashier and the girl at the delivery window were very nice and friendly. However, we realized on our way to Nashville on I-65 that we were missing the 3 key tags, a Frosty, and the hamburger in the kids' meal was not hot. I spoke to the manager, who I believe was Jamie, but there was no way for us to pick up the tags in Nashville. After a frustrating experience trying to contact support, waiting on the line for over an hour before being disconnected, I still need the three tags and a refund for the Frosty to be mailed to my home in Hendersonville, TN. - Cheryl D.

I have visited the Wendy's at the [redacted] block on Peach Street in Erie, PA multiple times and noticed issues with the daytime manager. The manager's communication with customers and staff is abrupt and micromanaging, leading to a shortage of employees. On one occasion, my order was incomplete due to miscommunication, causing inconvenience. During my recent visit, the manager appeared short-tempered while multitasking at the counter and window, creating an unpleasant environment for customers waiting.

Hello, my name is Shayla Britton. Today, I had an unfortunate experience at restaurant #[redacted]7 where I encountered terrible customer service. I waited for about 25 minutes in the drive-thru before being attended to, witnessing several other customers choosing to leave due to the extended wait times. When I finally reached the window, I was asked to wait another 10 minutes before I could even place my order. The manager's behavior on the microphone was shockingly rude and aggressive, leading me to inquire if she was speaking to me. After eventually ordering a #1 combo, I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for my food. Upon discovering my coffee was not fresh and my order was completely wrong (only receiving a chicken biscuit), I knew I had to address the situation with the manager. However, her dismissive response was disappointing. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever encountered, prompting me to seek assistance and express my dissatisfaction.

I have always admired Wendy's as I worked there myself in the past. When my son applied for a job there and mentioned his availability due to being a minor and a student, the manager reached out. Despite his limitations, we agreed on certain hours with the understanding that he needed to leave by 8:00 on Sundays for school the next day. The process became complicated when she requested his working papers, which we provided at her request. However, she was not there to receive them, and when we returned, she scheduled training during school hours. Due to a storm, the training was canceled, leading to further issues in scheduling. Despite challenges with the pandemic affecting school operations, we made every effort to comply with the requirements, including obtaining and submitting the necessary documentation. The manager then changed her stance on accepting copies of the paperwork but added new conditions regarding work hours. After enduring this ordeal for almost two months, I have decided it is best for my son's education to decline the job offer.

I have been a loyal visitor to Wendy's for the past three years to see my elderly friend, Bernie. Under the previous manager, Don Haskin, the restaurant was always clean and welcoming. However, since his departure two months ago, the staff has changed, and the atmosphere is not as pleasant. The focus seems to be on the drive-thru, neglecting the lobby's cleanliness, causing customers with limited lunch breaks to leave. Recently, a staff member was rude when my friend asked to turn up the heat, displaying poor customer service. Another employee, Marcella, even made unwelcoming comments regarding our orders. This decline in service disappoints me, and I hope Wendy's management addresses these issues promptly.

My fiancé, Thomas Weber, and I, Alexus Worthington, are embarking on a road trip from Findlay, Ohio to Sedona, Arizona on February 10th. We plan to make multiple stops along the way to explore various locations. In addition to staying in Sedona, we will also spend a few nights near Zion National Park area. Our journey will continue towards North Carolina around the 23rd to visit his son. We intend to rely on Wendy's as our primary dining option throughout the U.S. trip. We would appreciate receiving coupons in exchange for providing restaurant reviews as we are big fans of Wendy's. The nuggets are my personal favorite, having worked there in the past. We aim to opt for healthier menu choices like salads and baked potatoes, but a burger may make its way into our meals as well. Thank you for considering our request.
