Today while chatting on WeChat, I was prompted to log in again. Upon attempting to do so, I received a message stating that my account had been blocked. I followed the instructions to request an unblock, which required me to input my region and phone number for an SMS code. Despite repeating the process 4 to 5 times, I did not receive the code. Last week, I engaged with someone on WeChat who asked for my photo and a video call, which I declined due to time zone differences. This person then accused me of being a scammer and threatened to report my account. Despite explaining that I'm from Nigeria, I decided to block him for making me feel uncomfortable. Now, my account remains blocked.

1) I am attempting to set up WeChat Pay. I added a Mastercard as my bank card, but I am unable to top up my WeChat wallet. I keep getting prompted to complete my identity information by adding a Mainland China Type-I bank card, however, I do not possess one. How can I top up my WeChat wallet using the Mastercard instead?
2) Am I still required to verify my identity? I was asked to verify using my passport, which I completed three weeks ago, but I am uncertain if the verification process was successful.

Hello, I am seeking assistance to access my account. It was created years ago during my initial visit to China but was never used. Despite numerous attempts, I was unable to receive the SMS code and eventually got locked out. Considering my employment with a Chinese company, having access to WeChat is crucial for me. My Weixin Pay was activated at first, but it got deactivated after using it for public train service in Wuhan. I signed up for my WeChat account using a UK phone number. Unfortunately, that phone number is now disabled due to inactivity. After not using WeChat for a few days, I found myself logged out and unable to log back in.
Despite entering my correct user ID and password, I receive an error message stating they are incorrect. When attempting to recover my account through my linked email, I have not received any recovery emails from WeChat.
Since I cannot use my phone number, my password is being rejected, and my email recovery option is unsuccessful, I am unable to regain access to my account. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having trouble adding friends on WeChat. Even after my friends verified that I follow the guidelines, it's not working. When attempting to unfreeze my account, it tells me the ID and linked phone number are incorrect. I've verified my ID and even uploaded my bank card.
