Hello, I'm reaching out regarding an issue with my WeChat account. After adding two friends, I received a restriction preventing me from adding more until June 20th. When I tried to unblock it on the 20th, I was prompted to use a Chinese bank card, which I don't have. I'm looking for an alternative method to remove this restriction so that I can continue adding friends. Please assist me with resolving this matter. I have been using my WeChat account for many years. Unfortunately, I lost my phone two days ago and cannot remember the email and password associated with my account. I do recall my username and number, but I need the old number to receive a verification code to log in, which is not possible since I no longer have access to that number. I would appreciate instructions on how to change my password using a new email. My new email is [redacted]

Hello, I recently faced an issue with my WeChat account being blocked because I mistakenly sent my mobile verification code to a spammer. Subsequently, my account was accessed multiple times by unknown individuals even after changing the password. Unfortunately, my account has now been blocked. I have attempted various friend verifications to unblock it, but they have all been unsuccessful. I am unsure of the best approach to take to resolve this matter. Hello, I have been using WeChat for over 12 years to conduct business with suppliers in China. Recently, my account got frozen until [redacted]-07-07 16:33:40. However, even after the freeze period ended, I am unable to access my account. I have tried logging in with my password and through SMS verification, but have not been successful despite numerous attempts. I also tried to use the "Help a Friend" feature, but my friend did not receive the request. My WeChat ID is wxid_44vmy6bkfa3122, and my phone number is +[redacted]00. Hello, I am having an issue with my WeChat account being blocked after sending numerous greetings. I have attempted to unblock it by following the necessary steps, however, I am facing difficulty as WeChat is unable to send the verification code. I confirmed that my phone number and country details are correct, and I even tried the alternative method of receiving the code via text, but it has not been successful. I have checked my message settings on my iPhone and everything appears to be in order, but WeChat is still unable to send me the code. Can anyone advise me on how to resolve this issue? Thank you.

I have been using WeChat for a few years now. Last year, I stopped using it and now I need to confirm my account to re-activate it. The issue is that I used the app on two devices, a phone and an iPad, both of which I cannot log into currently. I've tried various methods to recover the account or request help scanning a QR code, but nothing has worked. I logged in with a Chinese phone number, but since I'm now in Vietnam, I can't access that number for SMS verification. My friend mentioned that only I can unblock the account by scanning the QR code, but with both devices asking for verification and none able to log in, I'm stuck. My grandfather got logged out of his account, and I can't seem to regain access. The phone number associated with the account is no longer active, and we didn't set up an email for it. Despite attempting account recovery twice, when I reached the password reset stage, it displayed an error message both times. I only have the WeChat ID as a reference. There is also a phone number that might be linked to the account, but it's no longer in use. Is there a solution to help me regain access to the account?

My account is currently frozen, and I can access it on my old device but not on my new one. I need assistance in unfreezing it so I can transfer it to my new device. I've asked a friend to help, but their account cannot be used for unfreezing. I am unable to unfreeze it using an ID number as I do not have a China mainland ID card. I am a foreign student studying in China, so I only have my passport number available.

Dear Customer Service, I found my account blocked today for unknown reasons. I initially created my WeChat account in June for a trip to Shanghai, China. I made some new connections and added them on WeChat, but unfortunately, my account got blocked. I rely on WeChat daily and need access for ongoing matters. I attempted to unban my account by sending an SMS, but it didn't work. I kindly request you to unblock my account so I can continue my trip smoothly. I lost my phone and my number got disconnected. I can't recover my old number from Optus. However, I need to reset my WeChat password. I'm worried that I won't be able to access my WeChat account with the ID_xiaohouzi711. I have attempted to reset it using my linked email, but I never received the verification code. It has been since 12/10/[redacted]. I have created a new WeChat account temporarily until I can regain access to my old one, especially for the contacts that I am afraid I will lose forever.

Hello! I need help retrieving my WeChat account that was on my lost iPhone. I successfully recovered all other data on my new iPhone using iCloud except for WeChat because I can't remember my password. I am experiencing an issue with my WeChat account linked to my mobile number (+65 9[redacted]) and WeChat ID: killer5969. Someone else seems to have taken over the account, and despite multiple attempts to reset the password, I keep receiving a "try again after 3 days" message due to the system recognizing my device as new. This has been ongoing for over a week. I am seeking advice on how to regain access to my account. Good afternoon, my cell phone was stolen, and it seems that all the information on my account has been edited. Now that I have bought a new phone, I'm trying to log in, but it won't let me because it has a different password. When I request an SMS code, it shows that it would be the first time I'm logging in, and they are asking for information that has already been changed. I recently got a new phone and have been having trouble logging into my WeChat account.
