I created my WeChat account 2-3 years ago when I only knew one person using it. Unfortunately, my account got blocked for no reason after 24 hours. I downloaded WeChat from the Apple Store on my iOS device. As I got to know more people using WeChat, I tried to unblock my account for months with no success due to poor customer service. The only option they suggest is to have a friend unblock me, but their official support page contradicts this by stating that a person from outside mainland China doesn't need to be on my friend list, which I never had the chance to create. Friends who tried unblocking me using a UK number received a system message stating we are not friends, which is opposite to what WeChat claims. I have many Asian friends and really want to use the app. Can anyone provide assistance?
