I had concerns about the tickets I purchased from Viagogo for an event at Aberdeen AECC. I was informed by the venue that access could not be guaranteed. Ticketmaster required the last 4 digits of the purchasing card, which I did not have as I was not the original buyer. I was unaware of Viagogo's resale nature when I bought the tickets in March, and now see their sales tactics as coercive. Despite wanting to attend as a family, the high price forced me to only buy 2 tickets for my husband and son. When the Viagogo tickets were rejected at the event, my husband and son enjoyed the show with Ticketmaster tickets, while my daughter and I were turned away. Due to family commitments and health issues, I am now seeking a refund of £[redacted].39 on my MasterCard, hoping for a straightforward process due to my limited resources and time constraints.

Dear Viagogo,
I purchased 5 tickets to the Kylie Melbourne concert today, Sunday, December 16th. However, I feel misled on two important points and am requesting a refund of $[redacted].80 to my credit card as the tickets I received do not match what was advertised online.
Firstly, the $[redacted] tickets had a hidden booking fee of $87 each, totaling $[redacted].80, which was not transparent during the booking process. The booking fee was only revealed on the final payment screen, causing confusion and violating consumer rights.
Secondly, I specifically selected 5 seats together, but after purchase, I realized the tickets were for General Admission standing room only, not seated as advertised.
I have contacted my bank, but they cannot reverse the payment. As a responsible ticket seller, Viagogo should adhere to transparency laws and provide accurate information.
I am seeking a full refund due to the misleading pricing and ticket description discrepancies. If necessary, I can provide evidence of these issues.
If I do not receive a response within 5 working days, I will escalate the matter to Consumer Affairs Victoria and the ACCC.
Please contact me at [redacted] or +[redacted]1 during business hours to address this issue promptly.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Regards,
Anna Pearce

My colleague, S. King, who is partially sighted and needs assistance with computers, bought tickets with the help of a colleague on 14/12/18. The Order I.D is [redacted]4 to see Jersey Boys on Saturday, 2nd February [redacted]. However, when trying to download the tickets from her email, there was an error. It turned out our company had put the email into quarantine. Despite reaching out to viagogo, they couldn't send the tickets to an alternative email address. We managed to unlock the quarantine with the help of our IT Department. When we finally printed the tickets, they were in the name of Mr. G. Rosenfeldt from an order on Tuesday, 4th December [redacted], Order No. [redacted]4 for the 2nd of February [redacted]. Can these tickets be emailed to another colleague or mailed to S.? We urgently need this sorted as we intended to give the tickets as a Christmas gift. Regards, C. Stevens for S. My email is [redacted]. Feel free to call us at S. [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] or C. [redacted]2.

I purchased two tickets on 18/12/18 to attend the UB40 feat. Ali Campbell, Astro, and Mickey Virtue concert at the Royal Concert Hall in Notts on Monday 01-April [redacted]. The tickets were advertised at £45.50 each, totaling £91.00. However, I have been charged £[redacted].40 by your company without any explanation or breakdown of the cost. The website falsely claimed the tickets were selling out fast at my chosen venue, but when I checked with the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham, they confirmed there are plenty of seats available at £39.00 each. I have sought advice from trading standards, who suggested I contact you regarding this issue as the pricing seems unfair. I am entitled to a refund according to trading standards, and I would like the full amount reimbursed promptly. Since I couldn't find a contact phone number, I am reaching out via email for a resolution. Thank you. Sharon T.

I have been trying to contact Viagogo daily for over a month now to request my 2 tickets for the Westlife concert on June 13, [redacted]. As a retired couple embarking on a 6-month road and air trip, our departure on December 26th has been delayed due to the missing tickets. We live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and plan to drive pulling our trailer through Canada and the U.S. to catch a flight from any city we are in. Despite my numerous requests, Viagogo has not sent the tickets. I am concerned about their reputation and fear they may be a fraudulent company. I have paid them $[redacted].08 in Canadian funds and would appreciate your assistance.

I purchased 2 Westlife tickets for June 13, [redacted], back in early November. Despite multiple emails requesting the tickets, I have not received them yet. My spouse and I, as retired individuals, are currently delayed in our travel plans beginning today, December 26. We intend to embark on a seven-month journey across Canada and the U.S., eventually flying out to London, England for the concert in early June. Could you please send the tickets promptly? I am reaching out for assistance as VIAGOGO has been unresponsive. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Regards, S.H. residing at 47 Templerridge Pl. NE, Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Good morning. A family member of mine recently tried to purchase tickets through your website, completed the process, and paid a significant price for them. However, shortly after, they received an email from VIAGOGO confirming a "suspicious resale" at a symbolic price that supposedly he had made, which he did not. He contacted you immediately, but has yet to receive a coherent response or callbacks. He is hopeful for a resolution, but I suspect fraud. I am writing to request a professional, reliable, or at least decent response from VIAGOGO. If not, as someone in the advertising and marketing industry, I can ensure your future once I confirm my suspicions. If this was a regrettable error due to "computer glitches," I await your solution, and will also acknowledge the company's virtues publicly if resolved. Regards.

I am a single mother located in Perth, WA, and unfortunately fell victim to a scam on Gumtree. I posted an ad looking to purchase tickets for the New Year's Eve event at Quarry Amphitheatre in Perth. A lady named Monica Richards from Queensland responded, claiming she had purchased 8 tickets but couldn't attend due to her sick Nanna. I transferred the money for the $68 tickets, but after sending her a screenshot, she began avoiding my calls.
I am now seeking confirmation if such a person named Monica Richards bought 8 tickets for the New Year's Eve event as stated to proceed with reporting this fraudulent activity to the police. I urgently need to recover my funds.
Thank you,
Jane Daebritz

In February [redacted], I bought tickets to attend the Elton John concert in Orlando, FL. The charge appeared on my MasterCard statement on February 25. The concert was rescheduled to March [redacted] due to Elton John's illness. Viagogo assured me that my tickets would be valid for the new date, but they have now informed me that my tickets were canceled and are refusing to refund my credit card. They are claiming that they never charged me initially. I am seeking either a refund to my card or for new tickets to be sent to me for the correct date. Thank you.

I am writing to express my concerns regarding a ticket purchase I made through viagogo with the booking reference [redacted]. I recently discovered numerous instances of fraudulent tickets being sold via viagogo, sparking worry that the tickets I purchased for an upcoming concert may also be fake. I have attempted to seek clarification through customer support on your website, but found no option to address this issue directly. The provided phone number was out of service despite the website stating 24/7 availability.
The possibility of attending my first concert with a band I admire greatly has now turned into a distressing situation. The lack of clarity on viagogo's support pages intensifies my unease about being scammed. I urge you to verify the authenticity of my tickets with the seller to alleviate my fears of traveling, waiting in queues, only to be denied entry at the event. I also request access to all relevant data pertaining to this matter.
I anticipate your swift response via email to track the progression of my case.
Sincerely,
Cynthia Z.

I purchased 2 tickets for the Westlife concert at the O2 Arena in England and was told they would arrive within 3 to 5 business days via UPS. I have contacted Viagogo in the UK several times requesting the immediate delivery of my tickets as my partner and I are planning a road trip. We intended to leave Calgary after Christmas, but are still awaiting the tickets. Their response asking, "HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?" was unhelpful. We are seniors and I have been a fan of Westlife since the beginning. Without the tickets, we are unable to book our flights or accommodations, which is delaying our trip. Booking flights early is essential for cost savings, and receiving the tickets in January for a June concert is too far in advance. We hope to spend 3 to 4 weeks in London. Please, Viagogo, I just need my Westlife tickets expedited for our travel plans. My name is Sherrill Havens, and I reside at 47 Templeridge Place NE, Calgary, Alberta, T1Y 4E4, Canada.

I purchased a ticket for the Lea Salonga concert "The Human Heart" scheduled for February 14, [redacted], at the Esplanade in Singapore. Unfortunately, the event was canceled due to Lea's leg injury. I received an email from [redacted] on January 23, [redacted], informing me of the cancelation and requesting me to return the ticket to an address in Taiwan so Viagogo could process a refund to the original seller. Viagogo specified that tickets with a postmark after January 29, [redacted], would not be accepted and recommended using a trackable postage method.
As a resident of Singapore, to meet Viagogo's deadline, I had to opt for an expensive express postage service costing around $40. The address in Taiwan provided by Viagogo appeared suspicious to me due to the lack of a clear recipient name and unverifiable existence on Google. I questioned the necessity of spending extra on postage to an uncertain address.
Upon contacting the event organizer, I learned that refunds are directly credited to the original Master Card used for the purchase and do not require returning the physical ticket to them. I appreciate any guidance on how to proceed.
Best regards,
Ee Wen

I purchased 3 tickets to attend Michelle Obama's event in Montreal, organized by Evenko. Upon reviewing my Visa statement, I noticed that the transaction was converted to US dollars. I am seeking a refund for the exchange rate difference, as this seems unfair to me. This experience with Viagogo has left me disappointed and feeling like I have been misled. I am finding it quite challenging to get in touch with customer service to address this issue.

I'm interested in purchasing tickets for Tomorrowland and I want to verify if they are an official partner. I've read some claims on forums, but I haven't found any official statement. Since Tomorrowland doesn't allow resale, it's crucial to confirm this before buying. I'd also like to understand the ticket and wristband retrieval process at Tomorrowland to ensure everything is secure. Time is of the essence as tickets are selling quickly, and I want to prioritize my security. Thank you for your assistance.

Hello,
I mistakenly purchased ticket number [redacted]1 while searching for the Copa del Rey game between Real Madrid and Barcelona. Since I live in Lebanon and will not be in Spain on the game date, I am selling the ticket at a discounted price. I kindly request the buyer's address to update the delivery details and ensure a smooth transaction. Selling the ticket is important to avoid losing even more money. I will be in Spain on 27-2-[redacted], which is 12 days after the game for which I purchased the ticket in error. I appreciate any assistance in finalizing the sale of ticket number [redacted]0. Thank you for your help.

I bought a ticket on December 24th for the Eminem concert in Brisbane on February 20th, but I have not received it. The transaction went through successfully based on my bank account, but I did not receive an email or the ticket itself. I paid $[redacted] for the ticket and have not received any communication. I tried to upload screenshots of the payment proof, but the website does not allow free file uploads. I would appreciate getting a new ticket or a refund.

Dear Viagogo,
I have sold 2 tickets for the Maroon 5 concert in Bangkok on 9 March [redacted]. The e-tickets have been uploaded, and the plastic/paper tickets can be collected by the buyer on the event day.
In my past experience, to collect tickets on the event day, the buyer needs:
- eTicket
- first purchaser's passport (as per eTicket)
- first purchaser's credit card (as per eTicket)
For this Maroon 5 ticket sale, I have uploaded the e-ticket to Viagogo, but I was not asked for my passport and credit card details by Viagogo. Should I provide a copy of my passport and credit card to Viagogo, so the buyer can collect the ticket on the event day, or will Viagogo handle this?
I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter to ensure I receive complete payment.
Thank you.

Dear Viagogo and GetHuman,
I purchased tickets through Viagogo Order ID [redacted]8 for the Andrea Bocelli concert on Saturday, October 19, [redacted], at Resorts World Arena (2 tickets, Section F). Due to unforeseen circumstances, I need to sell these tickets.
I listed the tickets for sale on Viagogo, Listing ID: [redacted]11, on the same date and venue. I was prompted to provide additional information on February 12, [redacted], which I submitted on February 28, [redacted], after only receiving the section F seating details upon purchase. Despite being told I would be contacted within 72 hours, I have not heard back, and my tickets are not visible for sale.
I have been trying to reach out to Viagogo without success. I am eager to have my tickets properly listed for sale. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

The doors open at 7:00 PM, and the show starts at 9:00 PM. It seems that Viagogo does not have the ticket prelisted. How can I go about listing this ticket for sale on the platform? Thanks.

Hello,
I bought tickets on September 12, [redacted], to see Napoli Vs Juventus on Sunday, March 3, [redacted]. I live in the UK and got these tickets as a surprise birthday present, along with booking flights and a hotel stay for 4 people.
Via Gogo emailed me on January 30, [redacted], asking for my travel address and accommodation details in case of ticket delivery delays. I promptly provided the necessary information.
However, on February 26, [redacted] (just 5 days before the event), I received a message stating the requirements to receive the tickets, which included a Napoli Membership Card or being an Italian citizen with legal residency in the Campania region. Despite clarifying with Via Gogo that this condition did not apply to foreigners like me, I was only offered a refund, leaving me without a birthday gift and out of pocket for flights and accommodation.
I am disappointed in Via Gogo’s handling of the situation and was expecting better communication and support. While I appreciate the ticket refund, I believe some form of compensation is warranted due to the inconvenience caused by the late notification.
Hoping for a satisfactory resolution.
Regards,
J. M.
