I received a payment from my insurance company to my Venmo account, but my Venmo account got frozen. Even though it shows that the transaction was completed and dispersed on October 27th, [redacted], I haven't received the money. When I try to add my bank information, it doesn't allow me. I've already verified my identity, but I'm unsure how to proceed. I really need the funds as the payment was made a while back. Please advise on how I can access my money. Otherwise, my attorney will need to reach out to you tomorrow morning.

I received a payment of $1,[redacted].36 from my insurance company on October 27, [redacted], and I have yet to receive it in my Venmo account. Despite verifying my identity and sending a copy of my ID, I am unable to enter my banking information for the transfer. The transaction is marked as complete, but my Venmo balance remains empty. I urgently need this resolved as I have been waiting for the funds for three months now.

I have a Venmo account for collecting co-payments from my patients as a clinical psychologist. I typically transfer these funds to my Truist account. Lately, I have encountered difficulties in making these transfers due to changes in the online format of the service. This afternoon, I made an honest mistake. I was trying to Venmo my granddaughter, Candice Hung, $[redacted].00 for her college graduation gift. Instead of sending it to my granddaughter, whose name is Candice-Hung, I accidentally sent it to someone named Candice Hung. As an elderly person on a fixed income, losing or replacing this money would be difficult for me. I kindly ask the person who received it in error to please send it back to me. I recently assumed the treasurer role for a nonprofit organization, which involves managing the bank account. We need to set up a new Venmo account with a different mobile number, but there have been past numbers linked to the bank account for Venmo. Despite speaking with a Venmo representative, I couldn't remove the old numbers or add a new one without providing a bank statement showing my name and the last four digits of the account. The bank won't change the account holder's name, so I can only add my address to the statement. I want all previous numbers removed from the Venmo account linked to our bank account. We plan to use a new mobile number for Venmo transactions with the bank account. I'm looking for assistance with this matter as I'm not willing to close and open a new account with my name. When I initially signed up for Venmo, I used my college email address. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to that email since graduating. Venmo now asks me to verify my identity via that old email, making it hard for me to log in. I've tried contacting Venmo several times to update my email, but no one has gotten back to me. Is there a way to change my email on Venmo? Can I get in touch with someone from the Venmo team to help me resolve this problem?

I've had a personal account for years now. Recently, I created a business/non-profit account where my cell phone and address were the same but the email was different. Despite changing the password multiple times, I can't access my business account. The personal account is under [redacted], and my nonprofit account is under [redacted] Both accounts share the same cell phone number and street address. I really need to access the business account quickly as I have an upcoming fundraiser. Appreciate any help you can provide!

I have been struggling with Vinmo for almost five months now. This marks the second occasion where they have withheld funds for [redacted] days. Recently, they notified me via email on Wednesday that I can access my money, but my account remains frozen for transfers. Despite my numerous emails, submissions of my ID, and bank statements, nothing has changed. I just want my funds released so I can move on. It seems unjust to hold my money for half a year without explanation.

A few months ago, I received a text with a link to Venmo, a money transfer service. Being unfamiliar with it, I hesitated to click on the link thinking it might be spam. Now, I suspect it could be a refund for an item I returned to the vendor. I finally clicked on the link, but it now shows "Webpage not available." My account has been locked for over a year by Venmo without a clear explanation of the reason. In [redacted], I opened a Venmo account to send money to my daughter when I dropped her off at college in Orlando, FL. After that, I forgot about the account and didn't use it until [redacted] or [redacted] when I opened another account with a different email address to receive $[redacted] from my daughter. Venmo locked my account without specifying the violation. I have $[redacted] in the account that I cannot transfer to my bank or use with a Venmo debit card. Lately, my Venmo payments have been continuously showing as pending. Normally, transferring funds from my Cash App to Venmo happens instantaneously, preventing any delays in paying my bills. To expedite the process, I use the Cash App card for funding. I might consider accessing cash directly and discontinuing the inter-app transfers to avoid further payment delays. The automated service isn't providing the assistance I need, leaving me frustrated with the situation.

I contacted a representative on Tuesday regarding three $45 charges on my Target [redacted] account that were made in Manhattan, although I reside in South Carolina. I am inquiring about the status of these transactions and when the $45 charges will be refunded to my account. The representative has arranged for a new card to be issued with a May 31 expiration date, which I should receive soon. I am puzzled as to how someone could access my funds in New York while I am located in South Carolina.

I've been receiving calls after 8 PM CST on Sunday regarding someone attempting to set up a VENMO account using my phone number. The caller asked me to confirm by pressing one, and then requested the number they texted me, even though I never received a text. I suspect this might be a scam. I don't have a VENMO account, and the callers keep persisting. I'm concerned about the security of my bank accounts. Can someone please call me to confirm that my accounts are safe and address any potential scams?

I'm having difficulty accessing my Venmo account after my daughter sent me a payment. Originally, I signed up with a Yahoo email and a different phone number. I attempted to send a Venmo payment to a friend, but encountered an error message stating I lost connection with the bank. Notably, I had completed a successful transaction with the same person last month and even received a payment from them recently. However, upon trying again, the app still displayed the bank connection issue. I reached out to my bank to inquire about the problem. I received an email to verify my email, but the verification is not working, and I am not sure why. Since signing up, my account has been frozen without any notification. There has been no suspicious activity, as I am the only one who accesses this account. Although I can log in and see that someone has sent me money, I am unable to add my Chime account because my Venmo account is frozen for unknown reasons. I simply want to withdraw my funds and close this account. I am disappointed with the lack of assistance and support - a frustrating experience with them.
