Hello,
I am highly disappointed with your service. I am located around Guduvancherry, Chennai. Many of your drivers are causing frustration by confirming rides and then asking us to cancel after making us wait. This happened three times, and my elderly mother and I felt extremely upset. How can we trust your service if this keeps happening? It would be better to pay more and use a different service in the future.

I was surprised to receive a notification from Uber that a driver was en route, despite not initiating any booking myself. The message indicated the driver would arrive in 4 minutes, which prompted me to search for a way to cancel the ride on the app with no success. After contacting the driver and explaining the situation, I was advised to reach out to Uber for assistance. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any contact number on the app or website.
Shortly after, I received a $10 bill for a ride I never requested and attempted to cancel. This whole experience was unexpected and frustrating. I am unsure how this reservation was made without my involvement and would appreciate guidance on preventing future automatic bookings. Is there a feature on the app to prevent such incidents?
I would like to emphasize that I played no part in this mix-up and kindly request a refund for the unauthorized ride.

I recently stayed at The Linq Hotel in Las Vegas and received an email offering a $20 Uber credit with code "TheLinq1" for first-time riders, expiring on 9/30/18. However, when I tried to use the code, I couldn't find where to enter it on the app. The driver suggested asking at the hotel, and I was informed that the code needed to be entered several steps back in the app, which was not clear to me as a non-techy person. This experience made using Lyft or a taxi seem much simpler. I request a $20 refund or credit for the inconvenience. Thank you. - Judy W.

This morning, I booked an Uber X at 8:22 am. The driver's name is Arturo Alfonso, driving a Toyota C-HR LA18. Unfortunately, he did not arrive at my location and did not pick me up; instead, the app indicated I was on the ride. Despite trying to contact him 12 times, my calls were all redirected to voicemail. It's disappointing that drivers like him, who fail to pick up passengers, are associated with your service. I kindly request a refund of $7.84 to my card due to this unprofessional conduct. It's essential for drivers to fulfill their responsibilities after accepting a ride request. If this behavior persists, my family and I may consider using Lyft. I appreciate a prompt resolution, as this is the second occurrence without a refund from the previous incident. I believe some riders are rating professionals like myself for fun. This behavior is disappointing. I completed 5 trips today and provided quality service at my expense. Humility should not be seen as weakness. Uber should prioritize driver satisfaction as well. I feel disrespected and will no longer be using your services. It seems unfair that riders are prioritized over drivers. I wish Uber would follow up with me about the decreased ratings, as I'm unsure of the issue.

I was charged $39.57 for trips I canceled because the Uber app indicated no drivers were available both times. I am requesting a full refund as I ended up being late for work. I had to find an alternative ride and explain the situation to my supervisor. I understand the cancellation fee policy, but in these instances, it was not my error. I waited for five minutes each time for a driver to be assigned, only to be informed that none were available and to retry later. Thank you.

I would like to bring to your attention some issues with the team members' commitment. I received a call from Mr. Rahul at 12:27PM regarding an appointment at 13:30PM. However, upon arrival at sector 29, there was no one to meet me and I had to wait for 79 minutes. Mr. Gautam later confirmed everything was sorted, but I requested to change the driver's contact number which he said could only be done by customer care, who in turn mentioned it must be done by the driver from the registered number. This becomes problematic if we don’t have access to the driver’s updated number.

My name is Souren Sahakian. My last trip was on 11/27/[redacted]. Since then, my account has been on hold for a background check. Despite numerous attempts - including writing about 20 letters and visiting the Uber hub over 10 times - I have not received a response. My driving record showed two accidents, but they were not my fault. I have provided supporting documents multiple times to no avail. After 10 months, some of the accidents have been cleared from my DMV record. I presented the updated record at the Elsegundo hub as requested but have not received any updates after 10 days, despite promises of a response in 5 days. I have a strong track record with [redacted] rides and positive customer feedback. Both accidents led to my account being deactivated for investigation, which later cleared me. I attempted to pre-schedule a trip but the app unexpectedly assigned three different drivers. Despite my efforts to promptly cancel each one, the final driver charged a fee. The cancellation process was not straightforward, and the app repeatedly assigned new drivers despite displaying "No Drivers Available" messages. Yesterday, I was in the Fort Lauderdale area and had a flat tire, so I needed to book an Uber. When I called for a ride, the driver called me to confirm my location on the turnpike. Despite me telling the driver that I no longer needed a ride and even recording the call, the app still indicated that I needed a ride. To make matters worse, I was charged nearly eighteen dollars for a ride I never took. This experience has left me frustrated with Uber drivers who prioritize money over service. I arranged an Uber pickup for my sister from our home to the airport. The driver arrived promptly but faced a traffic delay on a bridge. I tried to guide him, but he struggled, so I had him return to my place. I directed him to the airport, and my sister was finally dropped off. However, upon checking my bank statement, I noticed a $57 charge instead of the expected $29. Most of the additional cost was due to the extended ride time of $21. I wanted to report an incident regarding my wife's forgotten sunglasses in an Uber ride from Phoenix Market City to GM Palya. The driver, Mr. Anil N. with the contact number +[redacted]80, was contacted by both of us. He mentioned he would drop off the sunglasses at an Uber office, but I am unsure of the exact location. Despite my request for a call upon depositing the item, I am concerned about the situation.
Today, when I attempted to follow up with the driver, he arranged a meeting near his home at 4 p.m. and did not show up. After mentioning Uber intervention, he assured arrival by 6 p.m. However, he is currently unresponsive to my calls. This situation goes beyond the value of the sunglasses; it questions the driver's honesty.

I left my keys in an Uber, and the driver refuses to return them claiming I disrespected her during the trip. She asked me to meet her at QT/South Blvd in Charlotte, but she never showed up. I waited for 35 minutes. Another Uber driver overheard my situation and commented that she has some serious issues. I just want my keys back without any drama. My son arranged an Uber ride to work this afternoon. Upon arrival, he was asked his age by the driver. When my son, who is 16, answered, the driver refused to take him without explanation, then insulted him and left. A new driver was called, and my son could proceed to work. I was still charged for the initial ride. I find this lack of service and professionalism unacceptable. Especially since my teenage daughter was able to use Uber at night without issue.
