This marks my second Uber ride, and once again, I encountered an issue. The first ride's fare nearly doubled from what was initially displayed and agreed upon in the app. Today, during my second ride, I noticed the driver was heading to the wrong location entirely, which differed from the address I had entered. Despite being in a rush for work, feeling distressed, and struggling to contact Uber for assistance, the driver kindly suggested taking me to my correct destination. Gratefully, he proceeded to do so, even amidst my difficulty inputting the correct address back into the app. I appreciate the driver's understanding and assistance. I am seeking a refund for the incorrect trip taken this morning and the overcharge from my previous ride, and I kindly request a $15 credit for a future trip. My dissatisfaction lies with the Uber app functionality, not the drivers themselves. Today's driver's patience and professionalism have left a positive impression, and I wish to commend his exceptional service.

I am reaching out because I have been experiencing unauthorized monthly charges of $9.99 from uber.com. Despite disputing and receiving a refund for these transactions previously, I am once again being billed without consent. I have never authorized Uber to charge me for any services as I do not use or have any reason to use Uber. I am not a customer or driver, and these charges are fraudulent. I am requesting a full refund for all unauthorized transactions and insisting that my card information, ending in [redacted], be removed from your billing system immediately. I am prepared to provide evidence of these charges through screenshots and past correspondence regarding the same issue. Please address this matter promptly and cease any unauthorized billing against my account.

I have never used an Uber ride before, but I noticed unauthorized charges on my credit card for $50 and $25 on January 7th. I am surprised because no one except for me had access to my physical card. I need the money refunded promptly, and I am confused about how my card information was misused. Does anyone have a contact number for Uber so I can request a refund for these unauthorized transactions?

I recently used the Uber app on my mobile phone (No. 0[redacted]50) to arrange a ride for my aunt from my residence at 206a, Lake Drive, Colombo 8 to Atambahena Road, Gonapola on January 21, [redacted], at 2:45 p.m. The initial driver who arrived at my location refused the ride as he required payment in cash, even though my HSBC credit card was already charged LKR 2,[redacted].47. After contacting [redacted], the customer service was unhelpful, and the driver left. Another driver later arrived but requested that I rebook the ride. I accidentally left my small 4"x6" black jewelry case with gold tone letters "RL" in an Uber. I think I dropped it while pulling out my door keys from my backpack. The driver's name is Hashim, and I have his license plate number. This happened on January 14th when he dropped me off at 8:48 pm at my home on Flipper Dr in San Diego. There are irreplaceable sentimental items in the case, and I'm willing to offer a $1,[redacted] reward for its return. Hashim, please find it in your heart to return it. Today on Jan 23, I needed two Uber rides. The first ride was from Larkin St to Hotel Caza to meet a group, and the second ride was from Hotel Caza to McAllister St. I had reserved the second ride on Jan 22 for the driver to arrive at 8:45 am. However, when I tried to order the first ride, I had to cancel a couple of requests due to not finding a driver. Despite cancelling these requests before drivers accepted, PayPal charged me for both rides. When the driver for the second ride did not arrive at 8:45 am, I checked my Uber app and saw that the trip had been cancelled, which I did not do. I quickly arranged another ride for the second trip. Even though I did not cancel the ride, a $29.00 cancellation fee was charged. I kindly request a refund for this fee.

Hello, I am your loyal customer - Ukrainian T.N. Tonight I had a very strange experience. I ordered a car from 5 Novgorodskaya St. to BZF around 7.30 p.m. A white Hyundai Solaris B [redacted] AX [redacted], driver Sh.K. Mamadjhanov, was supposed to pick me up. However, the car never arrived. When I checked the Uber app, I noticed that the trip had mysteriously begun counting down, showing me a countdown of minutes without a car in sight. Unable to reach the driver, I became nervous and booked another ride to the same destination; this time, I arrived safely. The trip cost just over [redacted] rubles ([redacted] rubles, I believe). Later that evening, I received an unexpected SMS notifying me of a charge of 2,[redacted] rubles from my card for a trip with Yandex Taxi, which seemed suspicious. I accidentally left some items in my recent Uber ride and have been unsuccessful in contacting the driver despite multiple attempts. The driver's voicemail was full, and Uber support mentioned they would reach out to the driver, but it's been three days with no response. The lost items are important to me, including groceries, new clothes, and $60 cash. I hope the driver is honest, and I'm disappointed with the lack of communication from both him and Uber support. I encountered an issue with my account and was advised to speak with a tech expert to cancel it, which seems like an unnecessary cost. I am unable to access my account, let alone cancel it, and the lack of customer service representatives is frustrating. I request that all my personal information be removed from the system. The company appears to overcharge customers without providing the service, and there is no accountability or adequate support available. I have faced multiple instances where my ride did not arrive, yet payments were taken in advance. The difficulty in obtaining a refund due to the complex process is concerning. I will be escalating this matter further. Unlike traditional taxi services, Uber lacks a direct customer service line, making problem resolution challenging.

I contacted my bank, and they flagged and canceled the transaction. I've attached images of the notification message, the canceled Credit Card, and the bank's confirmation. The incident has caused me both emotional and financial distress, and I intend to take legal action against the fraudulent account user. My mom's boyfriend left his phone in an Uber in Miami. The phone has been located at [redacted] SW 2nd St, Miami. The Uber driver's name is Angela, and her car is a blue Toyota Corolla. The pick up was at 1:50pm at Brickell Avenue and SE 8th Street in Miami. We have the address of where the phone is located via Find My Phone. We desperately need this phone back. Can you please help? On the 5th Sunday, we took an Uber to Hotel Babylon on Gulawani Maharaj Road in Swaroop Society and paid the driver Rs. [redacted]. Later, we booked a return Uber at 9:04 pm with driver Shivam. After waiting for 20 minutes without him arriving, we had to cancel the ride. However, we are now receiving daily reminders for the payment, which we have been unable to complete despite our efforts. I have been noticing unauthorized monthly charges of $9.99 from UBER for a service that I did not authorize. I am requesting a refund for every month that this charge has been applied. I have noticed two charges on my card from Uber, but only one of them seems correct. On 02/09/23, there are three charges on my account: $5.18 for the tip, $25.74, and $13.51. We only took one ride, which usually costs around $13.00 as we have taken it to the same location multiple times. The $13.51 charge seems accurate, but the $25.74 charge is not justified. I received an email regarding Uber One membership stating a successful payment of $9.99 charged to my Visa ending in **[redacted]. The benefits include discounts on eligible stores with the Uber One icon, with minimum order requirements for delivery fee waivers and discounts. It appears to be a case of identity theft as I did not authorize this transaction.

On Saturday, 02/11/[redacted], the Walmart order number [redacted]-[redacted]8 was supposed to be delivered by driver P. Sowalnut. At 7:15 PM, I received an email that the delivery was complete, but my groceries were not delivered to the correct apartment. Despite giving clear instructions to the driver, he left the items at the wrong address and was uncooperative when I contacted him. I discovered the groceries at another apartment and when I asked for them back, he refused and was disrespectful. I had to involve the police, who found the groceries but nothing was returned to me. This situation has caused me distress as I was unable to feed my family as planned. I am a senior citizen and the stress has affected my health. I was on duty at Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, and accepted an intercity trip. When I reached the drop location, the customer wanted to go to another location. I asked the customer to update the location, but they left without doing so. I followed them using their phone and took them to the new location. However, they didn't receive the trip end pin as they were in a hurry. Despite calling customer care multiple times, the wait time was long, and I eventually had to cancel the trip. After that, my account was immediately blocked permanently. I visited the Uber office, and they mentioned it would be unblocked within 24 hours, but that didn't happen. Upon a second visit, they attributed the block to a GPS issue and informed me that they couldn't do anything. I'm facing difficulties at home as my work has stopped due to this issue. I seek assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

I used the app to book a round trip. Upon arriving home, the driver Vladimir split the fare into two single trips, totaling about $15, with an additional $5 tip. For my return trip, Uber sent another driver named Odell who I asked not to come, but he showed up anyway and mentioned charging $16. When completing the round trip with Vladimir, he was unsure if he had been paid by Uber, so I ended up giving him $30, of which he accepted $20. I fear I may have spent between $50 to $70 due to errors by Vladimir, Uber, and Odell not following instructions. Uber redirected me to a specialized service, which mistakenly enrolled me in a medical doctor referral program, costing around $37. This could lead to a total cost exceeding $[redacted], which is concerning for me as a financial investigator.
