I ordered McDonald’s from a nearby location with an estimated delivery time of 3 minutes at 11:43, so I headed down at 11:40. However, the delivery time kept increasing by three minutes, reaching 11:46. I ended up waiting for forty minutes. The driver arrived at 12:19 without a straw, my drink was incorrect and spilled. Waiting for forty minutes was frustrating, especially since my food sat for the same duration, making it cold with melted ice all over the bag. This experience makes me regret using Uber Eats and wish I had walked to McDonald’s instead. I am seeking a refund for such unacceptable service, as I couldn't even enjoy the drink I had waited so long for due to the error and lack of straw. Additionally, the fries were not up to standard. Paying a $4 service fee for this disappointing experience is disheartening.

I received a call after waiting for an hour, informing me that my food couldn't be delivered. I work as an Uber Eats driver and have been in touch with Uber support regarding a recurring issue. Despite reaching out to them, they recommended I contact you via email.
During my food deliveries, I encountered instances where customers did not answer their phone, provided incorrect addresses, or resided out of state, preventing successful food delivery. This led Uber to restrict my ability to cash out instantly due to incomplete deliveries that were not my fault. I have been using Uber Eats for some time now, and I am feeling disappointed with the recent changes the company has made. Uber Eats used to stand out from other food delivery services by being more affordable due to lower fees, with many restaurants offering no delivery fee. However, the recent implementation of a mandatory delivery fee for every restaurant has erased this advantage. This move has made Uber Eats less competitive compared to services like Postmates, Seamless, and DoorDash, where prices now align. Customers like myself may now opt for alternative services since the order efficiency can often be better elsewhere. I contacted customer service to report food poisoning from McDonald's and requested they inform the restaurant without asking for a refund. Unfortunately, my account got suspended due to previous refund issues. Despite emailing Ubereats multiple times for help, I did not receive a response, making this a frustrating experience. I urge them to review the call made on September 29th. It's disappointing they haven't utilized the recorded calls for evidence. This situation with Ubereats has been exasperating and disappointing.

This is my third attempt to place an order on Uber Eats, and unfortunately, each time my order has not been picked up by any driver. This has led to significant delays, causing me to wait unnecessarily long before having to cancel the order to avoid being charged. I am frustrated with the situation as it is out of my control that no driver has accepted my order. I am currently waiting on hold for 20 minutes to speak with customer service, hoping to cancel my order without facing charges. I believe a refund for this unresolved order is the appropriate resolution considering the repeated issues I have encountered. I understand that errors can happen, but after three failed attempts, I feel a refund is reasonable compensation for the ongoing inconvenience.

I made an order on Uber Eats, but despite waiting an hour, the food never arrived. After contacting customer service, they advised me to reorder, promising to cover the cost. However, while attempting to reorder, I mistakenly selected the "repeat order" option and ended up with double the food. Uber Eats informed me they couldn't cancel the order and that I needed to accept it, then contact customer service for assistance.
Upon calling back and following their instructions, I was told I had to pay the full amount, and they couldn't assist further. Despite repeated calls and emails, I've received no resolution from customer service regarding this issue.

On October 2nd, I embarked on my first UberEats delivery in Perth Amboy, NJ. Arriving at McD's around 1:30 am, I encountered confusion with the address provided via the app. Despite my efforts to locate the correct house, the customer unintentionally transposed the numbers from [redacted] to [redacted]. After finally finding the correct address, I briefly interacted with the customer, highlighting the error made. Regrettably, she did not apologize for the inconvenience caused. Fast forward to October 8th, I discovered the trip history missing, resulting in no payment for the delivery. It appears that the customer might have negatively rated me for not delivering to their door, which was a misunderstanding due to the address mix-up. This was my first experience using the service, and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. While the driver was friendly and the service was good, the food quality was disappointing. The burger bun was hard on top and soggy at the bottom, and the burger itself seemed like it had been prepared much earlier and left sitting. Despite ordering fast food, the temperature was barely warm, and the burger fell apart easily. I had requested ketchup, which was missing from the order. Additionally, I received an email promising two free deliveries for downloading the app, but the promo appeared to be expired. After several issues with other delivery services, I decided to try Uber Eats based on recommendations, but this initial experience left me dissatisfied. I recently had a disappointing experience with my UberEats delivery. The driver encountered issues due to the app changing my address causing delays. Despite the driver’s effort, my food arrived cold and stale. Additionally, the soft drinks were lacking syrup, and the sweet teas were unsweetened. The driver stayed in the car during the drop-off and there was confusion regarding the payment, resulting in a double charge on my account. I hope to receive a refund for the poor service, as well as the cold food and drinks that did not meet expectations.

I accidentally placed an order on the Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza menu through Uber Eats. Although I tried to cancel it immediately after realizing my mistake, the customer support representative misunderstood my situation. She thought I wanted to cancel due to a delay in the order, but I was just trying to cancel right after placing it by accident. Despite my attempts to explain, she insisted I would still be charged $30 and receive the unwanted pizza. I ended up having to pay for the order I didn't want, which was frustrating.

I placed my order at 4:09. After waiting for 2 hours and attempting to cancel the order on the app multiple times, I encountered issues where the app did not allow me to cancel. The only available option was to “Get Support,” but this did not connect me to any help and the given number kept disconnecting.
Given that my initial order had not arrived after over 2 hours, I decided to order from a different restaurant, and this second order was efficiently delivered via UberEats.
I was later contacted by a delivery driver informing me of their impending arrival hours after the original order was placed. I explained that waiting for 3 hours was unacceptable, and therefore, I neither want nor am willing to pay for the delivery since the initial order was never received.
I am dissatisfied with the experience as I believe it is unreasonable to be charged for an order that was never received, despite my numerous attempts to cancel, and the significant delay in delivery.

I placed an order at Royal Cafe on September 15, [redacted], around 10:31 AM. The delivery arrived 1.5 hours later, and I paid in cash. However, I received a notification from Uber Eats stating that my order was canceled and there is an outstanding amount of Rs. [redacted]. I believe the issue may have arisen from the delivery person not following the GPS app correctly. Despite my instructions over the phone, there seemed to be confusion. After being almost an hour late, despite numerous calls to correct his location, I messaged the driver in frustration. Standing outside in the rain, waiting for my food, and unable to reach him, my patience wore thin. When he finally arrived, he verbally abused me, calling me names. I remained silent, ending the interaction quickly. This behavior is completely inappropriate. While my messages were firm, they were not disrespectful. My order, which was paid for and picked up by the driver, Melissa, was not delivered to me. She claimed she was sent to a Little Caesars in Cicero, but I am at home in Lisle, and the app only shows my home address. I tried to track the order but had no luck. I couldn't confirm the delivery address until after the food was picked up. Melissa eventually cancelled the delivery and advised me to contact customer service for a refund.

I wanted to leave a tip for the driver but was disappointed to find several missing items in my McDonald's order. I initially ordered a signature guacamole chicken sandwich but called to change it to a regular smokehouse chicken sandwich meal without onion sauces. Unfortunately, the large drink and large fries were missing from the meal, and I received two snack-sized Oreo McFlurries instead of the regular size I ordered. Although McDonald's offered to give me the missing items, I was already in bed and couldn't go back. I would appreciate a refund for the items I didn't receive and would like to give the driver a tip for correcting the delivery. I appreciate them getting the delivery service correct. This morning at 12:45, I placed my first-ever Uber Eats order, but unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience. I ordered a 20-piece chicken nugget from McDonald's for its quick delivery; however, I was left waiting for an hour beyond the promised 1:10 arrival time. Despite giving Uber multiple chances to make it right, my concerns were not addressed satisfactorily. Even after a second call, my food had not even left the restaurant, and the only response was to wait. By the time my cold nuggets arrived at 1:50, I was thoroughly let down by Uber's service. This experience has prompted me and my four roommates to switch to DoorDash, where customer care is valued, and they currently have a special $1 delivery offer for a month. I hope this feedback helps Uber address these issues and prevent such incidents in the future.
