Hello,
My name is Chris, and I reside in Berlin, Germany. Earlier, I placed an order for food and successfully received it as scheduled. However, shortly after, I started receiving calls from multiple delivery drivers attempting to bring additional orders. I suspect that my browsing through the app may have inadvertently placed orders from various shops because I had multiple items in my cart while deciding. Despite this, I did not authorize these additional orders. I simply navigated back on the app without confirming any purchases.
Now, I am attempting to contact customer service, but I am facing difficulties as they are unable to verify my telephone number, the same number from which I received calls from the drivers. This situation is frustrating as I do not want any money to be deducted from my account without my explicit consent. I did not actively confirm any new orders.

Hello, I placed an order and was expecting delivery between 3pm and 3:30pm. Unfortunately, 4pm came and went with no sign of the delivery or any attempt to reach me via phone or text. I had no contact number to seek assistance. The online message stated that the driver tried to contact me (which didn't happen) and shared a photo of where the food was left (by the street entrance outside an apartment building). No call was made, and the order was left in a busy area with many people passing by. This $[redacted] order was for a parent of two young boys with mobility issues due to MS. It's disappointing there was no communication.

I placed an order with Uber Eats using order number #D62B7. I received a box of expired strawberries valued at £4.05. After contacting customer service about this, they refunded the amount to my Uber Eats account without my approval. I am requesting that the refund be transferred to my debit card instead of my Uber Eats account. Despite ongoing communication with customer service, they have only mentioned crediting the Uber Eats account. I am reaching out to emphasize that the refund should go to my debit card payment account, not the Uber Eats account. Please refrain from suggesting I use the credit in my Uber Eats account, as it seems unreasonable to expect a customer who had a negative experience to continue using the service.

Hello, I am calling from China Plate in Durban North, South Africa. I encountered an issue where one of your Uber Eats delivery drivers stole my food. The delivery person took my food and marked the order as delivered, so I am left without my meal. I tried to report this over the phone, but unfortunately, I did not receive any assistance. I placed an order on the McDonald's app for delivery but never received the food. After receiving confirmation that the order was accepted, I waited for around half an hour before checking the app to find out it had been marked as delivered. I contacted Uber Eats customer service but was informed that I wouldn't get a refund due to previous refunds on the account. These previous refunds were likely due to issues like this. It seems either McDonald's made a mistake with the order or drivers delivered to the wrong address. I believe I should receive a full refund since I didn't receive the order. I had a promotional code promising £10 off on a £15 order. My order totaled £17.97, reaching £20.56 with the additional fees. Last night while watching UFC, I placed an order for pizza at 10:05pm with an expected delivery time of 10:55pm. Unfortunately, the pizza did not arrive until 11:37pm, 42 minutes late. Due to the delay, my friend ended up ordering $60 worth of food, as more friends arrived and I couldn't cancel the original order. The app did not provide clear updates on the delivery status, and when I tried to call the driver, I was unable to get through to anyone who could provide information in English. By the time the food arrived, two of my friends were already late for their night shifts and had to rush through their meal. The night was chaotic due to the poor service from UberEats. Despite the quality of the pizza, our overall experience was disrupted, and I am requesting a full refund for the inconvenience.

I placed my food order an hour ago and even paid for expedited delivery. Unfortunately, I received the wrong drinks as I ordered two Pepsis but only got one, and it was diet which I cannot consume. Furthermore, my food arrived cold, and part of my combo order, the fries, was missing. This experience was disappointing as I had to wait a long time only to receive incorrect and incomplete items.

I placed an order for food through Uber Eats from Sufi Restaurant in San Diego with order number 77F1B. Received a text from the driver, Robert, at 1 PM, informing me of the delivery. When I went to the door at 1:15 PM, nobody was there, and no food was delivered. I contacted Uber at [redacted], and the customer service representative accused me of lying, claiming the food had been delivered and the PIN confirmed. I never interacted with the driver or confirmed any delivery. Now, I’m out $60, contacted a lawyer, and requested to speak with a supervisor, but no one responded. The unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I demand a refund and documented proof of delivery. If a refund is not issued, I will pursue legal action against this deceptive practice. It's unjust to promote Uber Eats as a reliable service and then defraud customers. I need evidence of the delivery and PIN confirmation, as I never confirmed anything with the driver.

I am having trouble uploading my documents. I have followed all the instructions, but it is not being accepted. I have included my Certificate of Motor Insurance with my name and car details, along with my expired driving licence. It's being indicated that the licence cannot be expired as they are permanent. I have uploaded all the documents clearly, but the status remains the same, requesting me to upload the document again. I am unsure what else to do since I have uploaded all the necessary documents.

I was informed that I would be directed to an app where I need to pay a dollar initially and then $46,[redacted] a month. This has caused a lot of inconvenience, and I am requesting a refund. I am not willing to make additional payments to receive the refund. I expect to be compensated for this situation. Sending customers to a website where payment is required to speak with someone for a refund is unacceptable. Please process the refund promptly. Thank you.

I placed an order with Zaxby's, but when it arrived, it was completely wrong. I believe the driver may have mistakenly picked up someone else's order without verifying it was mine. The driver seemed frustrated about having to take the stairs and mentioned there were no delivery instructions, even contemplating canceling the order because they didn't want to go up to our suite. This indicates they were aware of the location but didn't want to fulfill their job properly. I received incorrect food along with poor service. I am looking to receive a full refund for today's order to address these issues accordingly.

I'm having difficulty using Uber Eats because I no longer have a phone. This is due to abuse by a criminal group, which has been deleting purchases from my credit cards. I suspect they have the same credit card number and financial information as I do. Even when I had a phone, I couldn't order an Uber while in Chicago, IL. When I called for help, I was told my email was never associated with Uber. These criminals have created multiple versions of the internet, making it hard to track them. Their theft and identity fraud have made it impossible for me to accomplish anything. I believe they may use slave labor worldwide. It seems that my calls and emails are being intercepted or deleted. Please reset my account so I can use it. Your assistance in dealing with this would be greatly appreciated.

I placed an order on September 24th with Taco Bell through UberEats. Unfortunately, only the drink was delivered, and the driver left the food at the store. Despite the driver's assurance to contact the shop, I never received a response. I tried reaching out to the shop directly, but I couldn't find a phone number, and they were closing soon. Due to work commitments, I was only able to address this issue after two days. When I reported it on the app, it stated that nothing could be done because it had been over two days. My order was placed on Sunday around 6:30 pm, so I believe I am still within the 48-hour timeframe. I am requesting a full refund as I paid approximately £16 for just a can of coke.

Hello, I wanted to share my experience with using a promotion on Uber Eats recently. Twice in the past few months, I tried to redeem a £15 discount on a £25 grocery order at my local Coop. Unfortunately, both times my orders (Order BOA7E, Order 1CO8A) were canceled without any explanation. Not only were the funds deducted from my card, but it can take up to 10 working days to receive a refund. Additionally, after using the promotion unsuccessfully, I am unable to try it again at a different store. I believe that stores should only be listed on the app if they can fulfill the customers' orders. While Uber Eats did provide me with a £5 credit, I feel that this resolution is inadequate. I kindly request a thorough investigation into this matter.

Hello, I need assistance. Last night, my child accidentally ordered food using my phone. When they tried to pay for the order, the Uber Eats subscription kept popping up. I recently received an email receipt from Jersey Mike's in Lakewood, WA, for $91.56. I want to clarify that I do not have an Uber account, and I reside over [redacted] miles away in Southern Oregon. I recently placed an order (Order #[redacted]) from VM-79. The delivery person, Jamshaid, contacted me requesting to meet at the front door. He mentioned the food was damaged due to poor packaging and could not be delivered. He assured me that a refund would be issued as he had notified customer care. However, when I inquired about taking a picture, he declined abruptly, disposed of the food, and left. Following this, my attempts to contact customer care for support were unsuccessful. Despite requesting a call back, I received five automated calls from +49 [redacted]1 prompting me to press 1, but each call disconnected. Subsequently, I received confirmation that the order had been delivered.
I raised a claim explaining the situation, yet the response from niqbal2 indicated that the delivery person had attempted to deliver but as I was unavailable for more than 8 minutes, a refund would not be granted. This was disheartening as I had waited for an hour hungry and did not receive my order or a refund. As a loyal customer who has spent nearly [redacted] euros on Uber Eats in the last 20 days, I am disappointed with the lack of customer support and service. The absence of a proper contact number and insufficient chat support only added to my frustration. This experience has left me feeling let down by Uber Eats.
My concern extends beyond the refund; it is about the treatment received as a regular customer.
