Hello Customer Service, I'm looking for assistance regarding a refund for a cancelled order. I intended to purchase takeout for my sibling's birthday, who lives far from home. I hadn't used the app in a while and found a restaurant to order from. While adding a tip, I mistakenly entered $55 instead of $5, realizing my error right after submitting the order. I promptly cancelled the request and reordered the same items with the correct tip amount. Despite receiving an email stating that no refund could be issued as the food preparation had started, I swiftly reordered the exact same items from the same place. Is there any possibility to receive a refund in this situation, considering I wasn't aware I could adjust the tip amount during the order process?

I made a purchase at Starbucks on October 5th that totaled over $25. Unfortunately, my order was completely wrong and after contacting them, I was advised to use the app for a refund. The process required me to place the order again and wait an additional hour for delivery. I did receive the refund initially, but now, two weeks later, the app prompts me to pay back the refunded amount for the incorrect order. Although I contacted customer service twice, I only received vague responses about the refund process. Despite their reassurances, I was later informed that I missed the window for a refund due to a delay in response. My frustration is compounded by the fact that my account is not set up for automatic payments. I am perplexed as to why I am being asked to repay the money I was refunded for the initial incorrect order and feel helpless in resolving this ongoing issue.

My experience with the Ubereats app has been frustrating. I recently ordered from Five Guys and encountered multiple issues with the app. The app showed one driver picking up my order, then another driver arrived claiming it was already delivered. I tried to cancel, but faced charges for doing so. The chat bot was unhelpful as well, closing my chat unexpectedly. This is the second time this has happened to me, and if it reoccurs, I may consider legal action.

I am currently being prompted by the app to pay $22.12 for an order that was already paid for at $21.12 (excluding the tip). This occurred previously on November 10th when I initially paid $25.27 for an order, only to be asked to pay $26.27 on November 12th due to the app claiming the order didn't go through. I reached out to customer service yesterday and spoke with a representative named Mike, who informed me that the matter needed to be escalated to a higher-level representative. It has been 24 hours, and I am still awaiting a response. I am eager for this issue to be resolved promptly and to receive a refund. Thank you.

I made an order at 5 PM for one pesto pizza costing around $25. It is now 6:48 PM, and according to the Uber app, the order has not been delivered yet, but the payment has been deducted from my bank account. Pesto Pizza informed me that someone had picked up the order, even though I recognized the person who took my order from a previous experience. It seems like they took the pizza, the tip, and then canceled the order. I had to place a new order and pay for it again. I feel frustrated as I wasted $25 with no delivery, including the tip. As I am in the late stages of my pregnancy, this situation has upset me, and I request a refund.

I experienced an incident with an Uber Eats driver at a Dunkin' Donuts in [redacted]. I politely asked the driver to wait for his order, which wasn't ready, but he insulted me and my mother in Spanish, causing a scene at the store. The altercation happened today, 11/19/[redacted], at 6:50 AM at the Dunkin' Donuts in Hialeah, FL (address: [redacted] West 49 Street). The driver, who is Hispanic with a shaved head, doesn't speak English well but used vulgar language loudly. As an Uber Eats customer, I am greatly disturbed by this incident. I recently found a suspicious charge on my Visa card ending in [redacted] from UberEats on 11/27/21 totaling $23.95, conducted by an unknown party. I do not use any Uber apps and have never made any purchases from either Uber or UberEats. Just two days ago, I noticed that multiple unauthorized charges have been made to my Visa credit card by an unknown individual. One of the fraudulent users was linked to the email address [redacted] It is unknown if this same email has been used for other fraudulent transactions. Today, I identified an unauthorized charge for UberEats from October 27th. As a precaution, I have temporarily locked my Visa card. I attempted to use the first-time order discount (with the code "new6j7s9zx) for £10 off orders over £15 (my first order with Uber Eats). I placed an order amounting to £16.77, applying the offer, but my order was instantly confirmed without allowing me to review or cancel. Subsequently, I noticed I was billed the full amount without the discount applied.

Hello,  I placed an order through the McDonald's app this morning, and it showed that my food was on its way, yet it has not arrived. This has happened before, and it is frustrating that no one can be contacted because the order was made through the McDonald's app rather than Uber Eats.  I am disappointed and request a refund for my meal. I can provide proof with CCTV footage around my house, showing that the order did not arrive. If there is no satisfactory resolution, I will escalate the matter.  I expect a response within 48 hours on how this will be addressed. Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to report an issue with my recent Uber Eats delivery. The driver informed me that he had spilled the drinks during transit and took a photo of the damaged items before handing them over. Upon receiving the order, I noticed a strong bleach smell, initially thinking it was from outside my apartment building. However, upon further inspection, I found that the drinks had leaked and damaged my newly purchased black The North Face sweatshirt with three red bleach stains on the left breast area. It appears that the driver may have cleaned his carrier, causing the spill to affect the bottom of the bag and my sweatshirt. Date of Incident: [redacted]-11-20 I am requesting a refund for the damaged sweatshirt, which cost £55.00.

I signed up for Uber Eats using my email [redacted] on my computer. When attempting to place an order, I encountered an error message stating there was no phone number linked to my account, instructing me to add one through the app. Even though my Apple ID is under [redacted], I want to use the $35 coupon with [redacted] However, when trying to add the email on the app, it indicates that the email is already in use. I use an iPhone for the app. How do I resolve this issue so I can proceed with my order and utilize the coupon associated with my [redacted] account?

After my UberEATS driver informed me that my food was cold due to it sitting out at the restaurant, I discovered the same upon delivery. The manager blamed the driver and refused to take responsibility, claiming they never received the order despite my address being on the receipt. They suggested contacting UberEATS for a refund. Frustrated by the $25 spent on subpar food, I am even more annoyed by the lack of customer service assistance available from UberEATS. The app guidelines don't mention cold food as refund-worthy, which I disagree with. I demand a refund promptly.

I am very upset right now. $20 was taken from my bank account without authorization. I had ordered food, and now my order is canceled, my $20 is gone, and I have nothing to eat. I am disappointed in the lack of customer service availability and the unfair treatment. I have spent a lot on this app, and this experience is unacceptable. I received a $40 Uber Eats voucher from my boss. Unfortunately, I encountered issues with the app when trying to use it. It took me three days to figure out how to add money to my wallet, and when I tried to place an order using the voucher, it didn't apply. I cancelled the order immediately, but I was still charged. I'm frustrated that I ended up paying $54 without receiving any food. I would appreciate it if the money from my wallet is refunded, and I am reimbursed the $54, as well as given a $40 Skip voucher. Hello, I recently placed an order on Uber Eats for the promotional offer that promised R75 off if I spent R100. After making my purchase which left me with a balance of R44, I was surprised to see my balance back up to R119 when the driver arrived, without the R75 deduction. Although I ordered pops that I didn't really want just to meet the promotion's requirements, I explained to the driver that I only intended to pay for the Streetwise 3 pap. I returned the pops to the driver, but now I'm receiving a message asking for the remaining balance. I'm confused as to why the driver wasn't the one shown on the app and I'm hoping this can be resolved by having the driver return the pops. I would appreciate it if this issue is addressed as I would like to continue using the app, with a preference for paying before ordering in the future. Thank you.

I placed an order with McDonald's totaling £38.35. Unfortunately, most of the items were missing from the delivery. I contacted them to explain our situation of self-isolating, especially because my children's food was missing. They asked me to report it to Uber Eats and insisted that to get the missing items, I would need to reorder and pay for another delivery and service charge. This has left me feeling extremely frustrated and upset. I ended up paying an additional £21 for the missing items so that my children could eat. I believe I should be refunded for the initial delivery and service charge as the service provided was unacceptable. I also expect a refund for the missing items. It's disappointing that it cost me almost £60 just to feed my family when they couldn't leave the house. Having to pay twice for one order is unfair, and if I hadn't been able to afford it, my kids would have gone without food. I am a loyal UberEats customer and I am currently trying to place an order from Catfish Station. Upon selecting the Family Combo, I noticed an additional charge for two large sides that should be part of the Combo meal at no extra cost. After contacting the restaurant and visiting their website, I confirmed that the sides are indeed included in the meal without additional charges. Despite reaching out to UberEats Customer Service multiple times, including being placed on hold numerous times, I was unable to resolve the issue. One representative suggested ordering directly from the restaurant, while another advised me to call back later. It's disappointing to be directed to competitors or asked to try again when seeking assistance. My main goal is to have the extra charges removed so that I can proceed with placing my order seamlessly.

I placed an order at Chick-fil-A on [redacted] S Magnolia Dr in Tallahassee, FL. The driver, Jarvis, delivered my food promptly but, unfortunately, it was not the correct order. Instead of my items, I received a Diet Coke with no ice, which had the name Anna H on the cup. The bag with the wrong order had just the name Anna on it and contained different items. The mix-up likely occurred due to the similar names on the orders. My order included 2 sandwiches (one grilled and one fried), 2 waffle fries, and a Diet Coke. I have documented the mix-up with a video. I empathize with the other customer who ordered a salad, as now she has to spend more money on different food. I placed an order at Ladywell Kebab and Steakhouse at 7:16 PM on November 24th for £23.01. My order number was 375B4, and my Uber delivery person was supposed to be Alejandro Javier. Upon receiving a notification that he was 3 minutes away, I went outside to wait for him. Despite being on a main road, he messaged me claiming he couldn't find my door. When I tried to provide directions over the phone, he abruptly ended the call, stating he didn't speak English. I attempted to text and call him with no luck. Eventually, he messaged saying my food was stolen. When I tried calling again, he didn't answer. I was charged for an order I never received, which is unacceptable. I urge you to investigate our communication and help me secure a refund. Thank you.
