I require assistance in reaching the appropriate contact regarding my employment situation. Several weeks ago, I was scheduled to start my new job. However, my father tested positive for Covid-19 the night before, preventing me from reporting to work, getting my badge, and completing necessary paperwork. Despite contacting the provided number, I never received a response. Subsequently, I fell ill, followed by my two boys. Due to these circumstances, I never acquired my badge or officially commenced employment. I am unsure about the status of my job currently. Now that my health has improved, my household is virus-free, and I am fully vaccinated with the booster, I am eager to begin work if the position is still available. How can I proceed in clarifying my job status and potentially starting as soon as possible? Thank you for your assistance.

I am currently trying to switch my Blue Cross policy from Family to Self. I have been facing numerous challenges with this process for a long time, even during open enrollment periods and despite submitting divorce papers. I have spent countless hours on the phone, waiting for responses, only to be frustrated with the service provided. The lack of knowledgeable staff and the insistence on email communication when I prefer phone calls has added to my frustration. I am at a point where I am considering legal action as this situation has cost me extra money each pay period. The customer service experience has been unacceptable, and I feel they owe me compensation for the difficulties I have faced.

I recently applied for Job Posting #[redacted]6 (PSE Sales & Svcs - Manhattan, Kansas). Today, I received a standard letter stating that I did not meet the eligibility or suitability requirements specified in the vacancy announcement. I carefully reviewed the announcement and I am unsure where I fell short. I would appreciate specific details on the areas where I lack the required skills for the job. Coming from a background as a former Civil Service Human Resources Specialist, with three years in the military in Intelligence and Security Command, and 30 years of experience in Human Resources, I am eager to understand my shortcomings to enhance my marketability for USPS positions. I'm not boasting, just providing context on why I am keen to pinpoint where I may have missed the qualifications in the published job description. Thank you. Donna

I have worked for USPS as a mail carrier since [redacted]. In [redacted], I battled cancer with surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, leading to ongoing health issues. Despite this, I continued working with accommodations. However, a new manager in August [redacted] placed me on leave. After 4 months, I received a $1,[redacted] health insurance bill and was offered only 2 hours of work daily, leaving me financially strained. I am struggling to pay bills, including my mortgage, and need to support my family. I believe USPS has treated me unfairly after dedicating many years to them. I request help to receive payment for the time off and to return to full-time work, considering my health. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Shahram H. I have been attempting to contact the HR department using the provided phone number without success. In October, my children both turned 26, and although we communicated the situation to Blue Cross, the USPS has still been deducting coverage for them. Upon contacting Blue Cross, we were advised to reach out to Shared Services. Unfortunately, I was unable to address the issue online due to it not being open enrollment. When trying the Shared Services line, my pin was not accepted. Following two attempts to reset it online, it still did not work. I have experienced multiple instances of being on hold for assistance, only to be disconnected after 30 minutes. The lack of support available is truly frustrating.

Today, I received another damaged package. I am still waiting for a response regarding a package that was supposedly delivered on January 12th but never arrived at my address. It has been two months now, and despite reaching out to the vendor and checking with my neighbors, the package remains missing. I am feeling frustrated and in need of assistance to resolve this matter promptly.

Good afternoon, I am ReChell Hansen from the U.S. Department of Labor, responsible for minimum wage and overtime regulations. I recently spoke with Ms. Wilkerson regarding her concern. Janyla Wilkerson ([redacted]9) was employed by USPS at the St. Louis MO Annex from July 17, [redacted], to August 8, [redacted], as a PSE Clerk and was not compensated for her hours worked. Due to accepting the wrong position initially which led to an administrative issue, Ms. Wilkerson was not properly paid. Despite efforts to rectify the situation by informing HR, including Monica Young-Beverly ([redacted]), and contacting plant managers, there has been no resolution in payment for the work done. Ms. Wilkerson is still awaiting payment for the hours worked in July and August [redacted], as per the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) regulations. Despite reaching out to various individuals, including Lori Elder-Hotvedt ([redacted]), no concrete timeline for payment has been provided. Efforts to address this issue have been met with unavailability and lack of response, leaving Ms. Wilkerson unpaid till date.

Good Afternoon, My name is R. Hansen from the U.S. Department of Labor, and I recently assisted Ms. W. regarding her unpaid wages at USPS in St. Louis. Ms. Wilkerson reported not receiving payment for hours worked as a PSE Clerk from Jul to Aug ****. HR acknowledged an error in her position, causing a delay in her payroll. Despite multiple follow-ups, including reaching out to plant manager L. Elder-Hotvedt, there has been no resolution. Per FLSA guidelines, Ms. Wilkerson should have been paid on time. We are still awaiting action from USPS Human Resources Shared Services to rectify this issue promptly. Thank you.

I recently received a letter from BCBS in July [redacted] regarding my enrollment code discrepancy. BCBS shows enrollment code [redacted] (Self Only) on their end, which matches my records. I have verified with BCBS, and they confirmed the accuracy of their records. They suggested contacting HR Services to align the agency's records. I kindly request you to review your records and ensure my enrollment code aligns with BCBS's records. Thank you.

Good morning, I am Joseph Jin and I want to express my gratitude for assisting me with fitting into the academy training. I am currently working on understanding the language and code of conduct utilized by the post office. Although I am proficient in reading and writing English, I do face challenges in promptly responding to unfamiliar languages when listening. I anticipate it will take another month for me to grasp the language requirements for the post office. I have already informed Carmel Post Office Supervisor Linda & JR about this. Thank you and have a great day. Joseph Jin

I was employed at the USPS in Wilmette, IL from 10/08/[redacted] to 10/17/[redacted]. I received my first paycheck on 10/25/[redacted], which was 3 days short. I have been trying to receive the outstanding payment for the rest of the time worked. I notified Anita Shields, my former immediate supervisor, on the same day. I visited her in person to address the payment shortfall, which she said would be rectified in the next pay period in November [redacted]. However, when I followed up, Anita admitted she had not submitted the adjustment. I was on the phone with her for 7 hours on 11/10/[redacted] while she attempted to resolve the issue. Today, 11/28/[redacted], I called the office to inquire about my check and was informed by Anita and the postmaster that they don't have it due to Anita's mistake, and they are unsure when it will be available. This delay is causing inconvenience, and I am seeking clarification on when I will receive my payment. My name is ChaChana Taylor, and my last 4 SSN is [redacted]. In Wilmette, I held the position of a window clerk.

I retired from the West Palm Beach, FL post office in [redacted] at the age of 55 without being eligible for Medicare. I have maintained my health insurance with BCBS since then. To enroll in Medicare, I need proof of continuous health insurance since my retirement by having USPS HR complete form L564. Please help me in completing this form as time is crucial to avoid any fines when enrolling in Medicare. Your assistance in this matter would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

I recently began a background check process. I have a work history in Germany spanning 14 years until November 30, [redacted]. I have obtained a letter from my former Supervisor in Germany as requested, but I am unsure where to send it. My local contact has mentioned that she does not handle this, and the NACI Supervisor informed me that the letter needs to be sent to HR Shared Services. However, I don't have a direct contact or email to facilitate this submission. I'm seeking guidance on the appropriate channel to send this letter for the background check process. Thank you.

I resigned on February 17, [redacted] and on March 14, [redacted], I received a check via direct deposit for payroll dated March 17th, [redacted], for 4 hours. The explanation on the check read as follows: Deposit ACH MPLS TYPE: FED SALARY AMT [redacted].64 CO: MPLS PDC MN Entry Class Code: PPD Trace Number :8 Upon researching online, I discovered it may be related to a union grievance payout. Despite reaching out to various individuals at AFS in Salt Lake City, management, and union stewards, no one could identify the source of this payment. Lack of local HR in plant operations has added to the challenge. Since I have resigned, I am unable to access Lite Blue for further details.

I am experiencing issues with the LiteBlue website. I have been trying to decrease my allotment amount for two pay periods now, but have been unable to do so via the website or by contacting PostalEASE. Despite setting up code verification, I am still unable to access my account information to make the necessary changes. Even on the postal computer, I cannot access LiteBlue. I am frustrated with the technical and security measures in place as they seem to be hindering rather than helping. I urgently need to adjust my allotment amount before the next pay period to prevent excess deductions from my paycheck. It is concerning that this matter has not been resolved yet.

I am a Tractor Trailer Operator at the Rochester (GMF) facility reporting an ongoing safety concern. MVS TTO drivers face issues loading and unloading trailers that mail handlers should be handling. Despite starting early, TTO drivers load trailers alone, causing exhaustion and safety risks while driving. It is concerning that drivers are expected to handle heavy loads without proper support from mail handlers. Despite raising the matter with management multiple times, there has been no lasting solution. The current situation poses risks not only to the drivers but also to other motorists on the road. Swift action and a permanent resolution are necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of all employees.

I'm experiencing issues with the delivery of my stamp order. The package has been repeatedly returned to the regional center in the Southwest US instead of being delivered to my local post office. I am concerned about the lack of resolution and would like to understand why this keeps happening and how it can be fixed to avoid similar problems when ordering from USPS online in the future. Instead of resolving the delivery problem, the USPS is suggesting a refund request, which I find unsatisfactory for future orders.

I do not have an unemployment claim with the USPS. I have contacted them multiple times via phone and email to report my wages from Nov [redacted] for a new claim with my recent employer, not USPS. Since USPS is a Federal agency, they need to report these wages in the State system for my claim to proceed. Pennsylvania State has requested this information without any response. My former Employee ID was [redacted]2 at the McKnight Location in Pittsburgh, PA. Without these wages, the State cannot finalize my financial determination. Kindly update the system with my Nov [redacted] wages and provide a USPS contact for assistance if needed. Thank you.

Due to a high level of stress and ongoing medical concerns, I recently spoke with my supervisor, Brian, about my work situation. He suggested resigning as the best course of action, but after discussing with a family member today, I realized there may be other options available. I was not aware of this before. I am now reaching out to HR to retract my resignation and explore alternative work duties that align with my doctor's limitations. Any assistance you can offer as I navigate this process would be greatly appreciated.

I am having trouble logging into LiteBlue on my personal device. While I can access it at work and have successfully set up Okta on my phone to access the LiteBlue site, after entering my EIN I receive an error message stating "Unknown device or location. Please visit the MFA FAQs via the Multifactor Authentication link below." This prevents me from proceeding to enter my password. I have already set up a password on my work computer. I need to change tax information (locality tax is not being deducted), set up direct deposit, and enroll in health insurance. It is frustrating not being able to complete these tasks.
