I accepted a job offer from USPS. After missing a day of orientation due to a family emergency, I was informed to complete it the following week. During the second attempt, I was excused from the last day since I had already finished the driver safety course. However, upon starting my first day at the post office I was assigned to, I was mistakenly told I had quit due to incomplete orientation. Despite my SP-50 not indicating a "do not rehire" status, subsequent job applications have all been rejected with emails stating my ineligibility. Additionally, one job offer I received was rescinded just as I was about to accept it. I am confused and concerned about being unfairly blacklisted.

Dear Human Resources,
I am reaching out to inquire about updating my email address in my application profile. Although my sign-in email is correct, I haven't received any notifications since applying for tractor trailer positions. I discovered that the profile email is crucial for follow-up information, and I'd like to change it from [redacted] to [redacted] I attempted to create an alias for my current email but learned it's already in use according to Google support. If updating the email isn't possible, I'd like guidance on deleting my previous profile to start fresh.

My father-in-law, Charles W. Mittlestedter, passed away on 4-14-21. I am Mindi M. Shaw (Mittlestedter), his daughter. We are looking for guidance on who to notify of his passing and to inquire about any life insurance or benefits he may have had. Charles retired as a mail sorter at the main postal terminal on Trent Avenue in Spokane, WA, about 8 years ago. His wife, Gloria J. Mittlestedter, passed away on 1-26-20. Charles had dementia for the last 3 years, and his important papers were unknown to us. We appreciate any assistance or direction on how to proceed. Thank you. - Matt and Mindi (Mittlestedter) Shaw.

My counselor suggested that I apply for a position at the post office, which I did. However, I encountered an issue because I currently do not possess a driver's license. I received an email requesting a driver's abstract, which I cannot provide at this time. I am planning to obtain a license in the next one to two months but fear not responding within the given timeframe may disqualify me from future employment. I submitted my ID information instead, as I do not intend to drive. I am in the process of moving to Nevada from Washington State, where I applied for a position in Las Vegas. I understand that a license is a requirement for employment, and I plan to reapply once I obtain it. I appreciate your assistance in this matter as a Veteran seeking to contribute.

I, Cameron Mitchell, worked at the USPS office located at [redacted] Stationers Way, Sacramento, CA [redacted] as a Post Support Employee (PSE).
Unfortunately, I was recently dismissed from my position due to unforeseen circumstances involving my children and my estranged wife. I am currently going through a divorce that has created a challenging situation with my wife, who intentionally wasn't home to care for the children, causing me to be late for work. In order to continue working, I had to quickly arrange alternative childcare. My wife's actions have jeopardized my job as she aims for full custody.
I cherished my time at USPS as it provided stability for my children. I am eager to be reinstated and assure you that I will be a punctual and dedicated employee. I understand it may not be your responsibility to investigate the reasons for my tardiness, but I have resolved the issue and it won't reoccur.

I am in need of a letter detailing the termination of my life and health insurance benefits due to being in an LWOP (leave without pay) status for 12 months. The local office is disputing this, alleging that I never paid my share of health insurance, which is false. They have not provided me with any alternatives, insisting that I owe money and have received letters of demand threatening benefit cuts. I am simply seeking to retire on FERS disability after serving 27 years and reaching 56, as I am physically impaired due to a motorcycle accident while working as a letter carrier. It has been 20 months, with the last 5 months receiving disability income from SSA. The local office has been uncooperative, sending letters under different names and seems intent on denying me benefits. The date in question is 10/24/20 when health and life insurance benefits were terminated by Shared Services, despite my payment on 12/6/21. I seek the letter confirming the loss of insurance coverage, holding onto the payment receipt.

I urgently need copies of my W-2 and last earnings statement to apply for unemployment benefits. I'm unsure if I received multiple earnings statements as I only got one payroll deposit despite working more than two weeks. Unfortunately, I misplaced the statement and can't find my employee ID to access the necessary forms online. It's frustrating not having the needed documents to retrieve my ID. Could you please email me the W-2 and earnings statements promptly? My name is Perry M. Gonsalves, with Social Security Number [redacted] 38 [redacted], born on 11/18/[redacted], residing at 48 Limestone St, Warwick, RI [redacted]. I worked at the US Post Office on [redacted] Nooseneck Hill Rd, Coventry, RI [redacted]. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Perry M. Gonsalves

I have been experiencing significant issues with mail delivery at the Brentwood USPS in NE Washington, DC. Despite visiting the post office twice and even attempting to collect my mail in person, I have been met with delays and unhelpful responses. The supervisor, Ms. S., was particularly rude and uncooperative, claiming my mail was not there while I witnessed her handing out the same checks I was expecting to other individuals. The overall attitude of the employees made me feel unwelcome and disrespected, especially when I overheard them laughing after dismissing me. I took time off work to address this matter, only to be told my mail was not available. When I requested the supervisor's name for a complaint, I was told she had left, despite having just seen her moments before. I would appreciate it if this issue could be addressed promptly at this specific post office.

I recently visited the Seaford, DE store located at store number [redacted] on Bridgeville Hwy to mail a package. When I inquired about using an existing box, the lady at the counter initially agreed. However, she later rudely instructed me to tape the package myself after I wrote the address. When asking for tape, she vaguely gestured in multiple directions. I eventually found the tape section with the help of another employee who was replacing pens. The overall service was disappointing, and as a business owner with six locations in Delmarva, I expect better behavior from my employees than what I experienced at the store. The interaction highlighted some issues with the customer service and attitude of certain postal workers. I hope this feedback can be taken into account for future improvements.

I am a PSE Clerk in Silver City, MS named B. Nicholson. Currently, I am facing issues regarding my payroll. This marks my fourth check, yet I am unable to access my clocked hours online through TACS. My Postmaster has informed me that she cannot provide me with the breakdown of my hours worked. I often find myself working overtime, especially during busy periods when customers come in for transactions like purchasing money orders. Despite going above and beyond, even outside of my shift hours upon her requests, my dedication seems unnoticed. Since attending the Jackson orientation in July, my hours submission has been delayed, affecting my paycheck. I suspect discrepancies in my payment as my earnings are decreasing. Despite diligently inputting my carrier time, my inquiries about my hours are met with avoidance.

I recently applied for a desk clerk position and unfortunately received a rejection. It's disheartening to discover this outcome, especially when my qualifications align with the job description. With years of customer service experience, it's perplexing to feel incapable of handling customer interactions at a reception desk. The hiring process appears overly selective, and despite passing the on-site questionnaire and receiving a confirmation email, I am left wondering about the specific reasons for my rejection. Constructive feedback is invaluable for self-improvement, and without clarity on the rejection reasons, personal growth becomes challenging. Providing transparent explanations to applicants upon rejection can facilitate learning and development.

I have recently submitted a support ticket regarding an issue I encountered during the application process for a desk clerk position at my local USPS center. Despite passing the assessment, I received a rejection, which was disheartening. I possess years of customer service experience and meet the job requirements. I believe the hiring process should be more inclusive and modernized to provide equal opportunities to all applicants. Training can be provided on the job, making it accessible to individuals without prior experience. It is crucial to offer everyone a fair chance before dismissing them, especially after they have been informed that they have successfully passed the assessment. The current hiring procedure feels outdated and exclusive, which can be discouraging during times when there is a pressing need for workers.

I received an email regarding my upcoming orientation and a phone call confirming my availability. However, I mentioned I hadn't given my two weeks' notice at my current job, as the orientation was supposed to be my first day. The recruiter advised me to give notice and that they would reschedule my orientation. It has been a week and a half since, and I am still waiting for a new date. My last day at my current job is 10-22-[redacted]. Is there a contact person I can reach out to for further assistance, or what else can I do in this situation?

I have been experiencing difficulties for the past three months trying to reach out to the Post Office Human Resources. The problem stems from being transferred from one location to another for a different position. After the transfer, I never began work or received any guidance to start at the new location under the new position. Despite my attempts to get in touch with HR, I have not been able to connect with anyone, and now I am facing termination because I have not received any instructions to start at this new location.

I have sold items on Mercari before without any issues, but this time I sent a necklace through the mail on the 29th, and the tracking information is not updating. The tracking status says it is waiting to be brought to USPS. I am unsure about what to do next regarding this sale. Should I assume the package is lost, or will it eventually show up?

I have not received my paycheck since December 10th. They terminated me from my position on December 4th or 5th. Despite everyone else getting paid on Christmas Eve, I have not been paid. I am still not listed as an active employee over a month later, essentially working without pay. The upcoming payday on January 7th is nearing, and I am not in the system to receive my salary. This situation is unacceptable. It should not take this long to reinstate an employee. I am facing financial difficulties with overdraft fees, two missed car payments, and the risk of rental late fees. My rent was supposed to be covered with my Christmas Eve paycheck. I urgently need to be reinstated in the system to receive the payment I am owed.
